Blood for Blood deserves to be in a category all on its own because it's excellent. The plot blew me away, especially the way it blew past my expectations with every twist and turn (I don't think I've been wrong this many times about what would happen, in quite a while); the characters were so layered, complex, real I felt for and every one of them, even the bad guys to a certain extent. But the single best part of this book in my opinion was the writing. I loved it in Wolf by Wolf, and it only got better from there, so much so that I'll be reading everything else Graudin's written because her prose is breathtaking.

A Conjuring of Light is one of the best conclusions to a trilogy I've ever read. It is fast paced, captivating, and an incredibly good book all around.

Although the style has changed, somewhat less journalistic and containing more direct narration imo, The Dire King is a solid ending to what was a fantastic series. It had a few flaws but none that stood out as glaring to me.
