"I will literally never stop talking about Zodiac Academy (ask any of my friends lol). This series will make you feel everything from laughing out loud, anger, yearning, despair. Book 4, Shadow Princess, is my favorite in the entire series."

"Man this book is really sticking with me and was one where I was sad when it ended. I desperately wanted to stay in this world and with these characters.

I will say that the writing style is very different from what I’m used to and there were times I was left wanting, but the world and overall story was just so beautiful it still gets a 5 from me."

Hannah Says:
"I sat on this review for so long… this book will stay with me for a while. It was a difficult read at times, where it felt like the exposition would never end and scenes drawn out,  but the attention to detail was immaculate and it truly made me think.

Kuang so perfectly encapsulates how every person can experience and react to discrimination/oppression in each of her characters. Also, the final scenes of this book were so hard to read because I sobbed so hard.

She is a master of her craft and I can’t wait to read more of her work."

Hannah Says:
"I absolutely loved this. A fantastical horror with the perfect mix of comedy that's giving Alice in Wonderland for adults."

Hannah Says:
"Sanderson is a MASTER!! Tress is literally everything you want in a cozy fantasy and a wonderful introduction into the Cosmere if you're thinking about trying it out (which you should!!)."

Dylan Says:
"What Hannah says! Additionally, this book is for you if you like pirates, zombies, and the occasional tea cup."

"Ok. So this was going to be a 4 star for me until the last few chapters. I have never hated characters like I did in this book. I CRAVED her revenge and it was sooo sweet when it finally came.

Reading how women were treated and the account of the witch trials was infuriating and painful to read. Watching how a kind and sweet person was forced to turn into a monster was so interesting and this book is definitely worth the read!"

"A gay conversion camp with a 100% rate and a closely guarded secret.....
I already was a Tingler, but this book was surprised me. It was the first book in a hot minute to actually spook me, it had a fantastic story, and was so well written (duh).
I highly suggest this to any and everyone."

Hannah Says:
"This was such an interesting take on the haunted house trope I hadn’t seen/read before. It constantly had me going back and forth over whether I thought the main character was reliable."

Hannah Says:
"This book was such an interesting read. I'm amazed at Kuang's ability to get into the mind of a character, especially such an unreliable narrator. Definitely had me thinking and I highly recommend."

Hannah Says:
'“But do you know who the real villain is?”

I love Chuck Tingles’ books so much. His writing always has so much to say and has such an important message. While the middle bits had my stomach turning, I ended the book with a smile on my face.'
