Hannah Says:
"This was such a fun take on a “cursed” movie. It was gory, shocking, and came around full circle which I loved.

Out of all the recent books that have come out about haunted/cursed movies, I think this one is my favorite."

"This is some chicken noodle soup for the soul. In a world where so often everything can feel bleak and hopeless, Green reminds us to find wonder in the small things.

This book made me want to cry in a good way and I will be thinking about it for a while yet."

Hannah Says:
"This is the scariest book I’ve read in a long while. It’s giving Babadook and the ending ramped up so fast in a way that was giving hereditary. "

Hannah Says:
"Ughhh this BOOK!

Atmospheric, thought provoking, disgustingly gory, and heart-wrenching. The way Leede is able to seamlessly blend the tropes of a YA coming of age and horror was as beautiful as it was disturbing and this story will stick with me. "

Hannah Says:
"I enjoyed myself during the entire experience of reading this book. It was insanely meta with an unreliable narrator you love to hate. Mike has such a thoroughly warped perception of reality and the the lengths he will go to to feel like he is important and loved are insane.

I also loved the commentary on SciFi as a genre and the way people interact with literature. How people view art and how artists make sense of the world through their expressions.

I laughed and found myself wanting more of Orb 4 and the Star Rot Chronicles. It was such an interesting universe and experimentation of style and I want more!"

Hannah Says:
"This story was just what I needed in a time where acceptance and love feel like they're missing. It is such a unique premise and I loved the different styles and approaches to telling each facet of the story. So fun and highly recommend! "

"OMG I loved this book. The way every little detail ties into a bow by the end was so cool. It’s been almost a week since I’ve finished it and I am still thinking about it. Would highly recommend!"

Hannah Says:
"I LOVED this. This book was a collection of snapshots of life in the face of something mysterious and extraordinary. The wit, whimsy, and thoughtfulness of this book made it hard to put down and I genuinely was sad when it was over. This is so far my favorite of Scalzi’s books."

Dylan Says:
"This is the most quirky book centered around the age old childhood question 'Is the moon made of cheese?' Scalzi is a genius here as you explore the snapshots of different individuals following the unexpected transformation of the moon into the biggest block of swiss cheese (or gouda whichever you prefer...)."

Hannah Says:
"Dang this book is something…. This type of book is so intriguing to me: labyrinthine, deep, a little bit out of this world. I found myself entranced and unable to put the book down. It was paced impeccably and the shifts of perspectives and styles kept things from feeling overdone/drawn out. It also had a hint of humor that flowed really naturally and reminded me why I love Wendig’s writing.

I highly recommend this if you are a fan of House of Leaves, Piranesi, or Episode 13."

Gail Says:
"One of my favorite feminest folks written by an icon in my personal opinion, teaches you how to stand up for yourself how women are perceived by the world in a male dominated perspective. Tack R, the way that you feel about internalized misogyny when reading this educate yourself and get lost in all of the fun, illustrations and checklist that are inside of this book. My personal favorite feminest manifesto and one that I will always recommend to my friends."
