I also have Crohn's but it's not as bad as my mental illness. It was interesting to read it from both sides.

This book is not set in Boston. There aren't enough references, it was too generic. I was disappointed since that was one of the reasons why I picked it. But I finished for the queer representation. Time travel was interesting-ish.

Waxes and wanes between being a bit too dense for me. I saw the movie first and maybe that helped make it less dense.

It was a struggle getting into it after not reading the first one in so long but I'm glad I stuck with it. Enjoyed it.
