Since the characters are established I liked this one better

It's not Murderbot. Way too many POVs for that. But it's good in its own right. Less snarky. Engaging plot.

River was loveable maybe Grace too. I completely forgot why I requested this at the library. I don't think I learned anything structure/technique wise. I didn't enjoy it much but I don't post DNFs here. It's a fast read when I set aside time (hah) to read it.

I had a hard time keeping track of the threads. I think a physical copy would help page through... Stuck with it. Wanted to finish because of time travel.
