This was a read aloud for the kiddos. We really liked this. Such a great friendship book. I also love the growth in understanding between the white body and the Natives. Excellent read for any age!

What a fun book! Reminds me of Aesop’s Fables with a Christian twist! Lots of virtuous stories that have a lesson to share. Illustrations are great too. This would be great for homeschool families!

As a huge Sherlock fan, I love the format of this book for kids! Throughout the book, there are little blocks to explain certain terms that are important in the book such as, “hemoglobin”. This tiny addition turns this classic into something far more educational. I’d like to see more like this!

This was a nice, quick, fluffy read. I generally enjoyed this, but would have loved a bit more character development. I wanted to know a bit more about the protagonists as well as some backstory on the world.

My biggest issue is that it just seemed rushed. This needed another 100 pages-at least-to feel complete to me.

Fans of The Bone Season, Twilight, and even The Hobbit could find some easy enjoyment here.
