I finished this in a day. Yes, tons of tropes. Yes, some things are a bit predictable. And most importantly yes, I really enjoyed this.

It was such a sweet story, but still had some emotionally mature components. I could relate so much to the main character, but as a mom, the loss in this book was heartbreaking.

This book isn’t going to change your life, but it’s still worth giving it a chance.

If cheesy rom-coms help you escape from reality but-this book will be perfect for you!

I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read this!! Most often, books about trains are about little boys. I loved that this one included a little girl with such curiosity.

This is a quiet story. A story about dreams. Not the glitzy kind. But nonetheless is beautiful and should be shared.

My children and I have been studying Japan all year. This book, in a strange way, felt like home. It tackled a difficult subject with such grace. It wrapped it up beautifully and the illustrations were absolutely perfect.

I absolutely love to read picture books about real people-especially if I’ve never been introduced to their story before.

That’s the case with this one.

Beautifully illustrated, this book tells the story of a bullied kid turned mighty activist. But there’s so much more to this than just being about a boy who wants to save some animals.

This is a great way to show our children how to overcome bullying and to press on to achieve greatness.

Stunning illustrations make this a book I plan on purchasing a hard copy of.

“You’re about to read the extraordinary, almost true, tale about a toy that swept a nation...”

Incredibly cute tale about the origins of the “Teddy Bear”.

I remember that the bear’s were named after Teddy Roosevelt, but never really knew why.

LOVED the illustrations. Unique and for the story well.

Highly recommend!

I didn’t really enjoy this one. It’s dark, without explaining much to a child.

This is the heartbreaking story of an old dog passing away. I’m all for children’s books diving into real life hurts, but this one didn’t have a lot of heart behind it for me.

Not sure what it was, but it just didn’t sit well with me.

This book is GORGEOUS! I want a hard copy NOW!

If you’re a homeschooler or teacher-you need this. This would be perfect for nature studies.

Lots of great info about trees paired with gorgeous illustrations.

I’d give this 10 stars if I could.
