This was a really fun sweet holiday novella from new-to-me author Meredith Duran (yes, that’s one crossed off my December list already!) and I’ll definitely be reading more of her in the future. All of Georgie’s feelings were so relatable— that she thought she had something with this man, but she must have been mistaken (spoiler alert, she wasn’t). Lucas was lovely, with his own insecurities, and her dad’s machinations were appalling.
Minor spoilers: I’ve been reading a lot of HRs with shitty parents worth going no contact with lately (a subject that hits particularly close to home), and I’m so glad that Georgie didn’t forgive her dad just cause it all turned out well in the end.
Soft DNF. Hoopla borrow ran out and exceeded limits. 🤦🏻♀️
