Good depiction of life in Aroostook County, Northern Maine, where I lived when this took place. If I had not known the spoilers it would've been better. I would have liked more about the psychological profiling of the murderer, more about the effects of arsenic as it related to their recovery throughout the timeline of the book, and less church gossip.
It got better and better as it went on. I liked it. Read for a book club.
It was suspenseful and engaging with an ending that was unexpected to me. Enjoyable and I'm glad this brought me back to reading thrillers
My favorite book of the year and I've read 50. Love love love. Happy tears. Page Turner like The Martian. I liked it a little better.
