This book was phenomenal, as all of Ellen Hopkins' books have been. It was heart-wrenching, deep, and powerful. And the flashback-ish scenes to 9/11 and the immediate aftermath were particularly powerful as it hit me like a ton of bricks that today's teens don't have those days stamped on their memories as I do.
The 6yo loved it so much that we finished the entire book in under an hour, haha.
