This is the 5th and final installment of the Cold Mark series, and a lot of questions are finally answered.
I have enjoyed this series right from the start, and have been wondering where things would end up with Braita, her Vaq, the Plumas...
I was glad that Braita finally made a decision about who she wanted to be with - though at times I felt she devolved a bit from the strong woman we first met. She was all about using her feminine wiles to get what she wanted, rather than just going for it like she had always done. But then at other times she asserted her feelings like she always had.
I was happy with the decision she made, though I did feel a little sorry for the other guys :(
We also got a glimpse of what will be the start of the Moon Mark saga, which I know I will be reading when it comes out!
The ending did feel a tiny bit rushed, but I was happy with how things ended.

OK, so I am a firefighter (volunteer) so I just love a good firefighter romance. The opportunity to read Hot Nights With The Fireman was a no brainer for me.
I did not feel that this was your average sexy fireman story. There was just that something "more" to it.
Valerie is a PR genious, and has a fear of fire - understandable when you get into the story.
Jason is the fireman caught up in an internet scandal - through no fault of his own.
When Valerie is sent to clean up the PR mess, there is an ember of interest, that spark of attraction. I love how Jason works at getting Valerie's attention, dragging out of her self-imposed "dry spell".
And when things ignite between them - man do things get hot hot hot!!! What this fireman can do with his hose (if you know what I mean!)
Ms Silver had my hooked right from the start. I fell in love with the characters (though at times I wanted to tell Valerie to pull her head out of her bum!) and adored the story. The writing and storyline flowed seamlessly, and I got carried away with it.
There are some fantastic secondary characters that I am hoping we get to learn more of (I know that there is one more book to come, but that won't be enough!)
This is the first Lynne Silver book that I have read, but it will definitely not be the last!
Oh, and I am off to ask my captain for a couple of the firemen like these!!

This was my first Tiffany Snow read (although I have had the Kathleen Turner sitting on my kindle forever, waiting to be read) - and I have to say, I will be moving them up my TBR quicksmart after reading Power Play.
Ms Snow certainly does have a knack for writing a love triangle!
Parker Anderson - super sexy boss man.
Sage Reese - executive administrative assistant (don't, I repeat don't call her a secretary) - totally in lust with her boss
Dean Ryker - the hot cop
I have to admit, I flip flopped all through this book as to who I wanted Sage to end up with - #TeamParker or TeamRyker. Both guys have qualities that I adored and qualities that I disliked. How is a poor woman to choose?
I loved that Sage finally grew a pair and stood up to them both when it was needed.
I could feel the push/pull between Sage and Parker, and I could feel the pull Sage had towards Ryker.
There is an undercurrent to the story that feels just a little bit dark, with events taking place that our quiet administrative assistant could never have expected.
Right down to the last page, Ms Snow has kept us guessing which direction Sage's feelings would go.... and even at the end when is seems like she has made her choice, all I could think was - nope, this isn't how things are going to be.
Now we have to wait until book 2, Playing Dirty, to find out how things play out.
I am very much looking forward to reading more of this trio.

ARC received for an honest review - thank you!
I adore Bella Aurora's writing, and I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into About Last Night.
This was a sweet, fun, not-your-average type of romance. Yes, the falling for the brother's best is not new, but throw in that he's an escort...
Mia/Maya - while at times I loved her, sometimes she felt like a teenage rather than a successful woman in her mid 20s. There was more than once that I wanted to roll my eyes at her.
Quinn/Matt - well I just adored him from the start. Even with the escort bizzo, I couldn't help but feel him.
There are secrets being kept in this story - and we all know how well that always ends. Somebody always ends up getting hurt, but this time it is not who you think it will be.
I LOVE Mia's next door neighbours, Bill and Terry. I swear, these two need a book of their own!
I enjoyed being taken on the ride with both the MC's - Mia from virginal sweetheart to getting dirties up, and Matt from playboy to pretty much whipped - and loving it!
I look forward to whatever Ms Aurora brings us next.

This is the second book in the White Pines series, but I have not read the first book and that did not detract from this book at all.
I love a good second chance romance (gives us all a bit of hope, don't you think?!?).
Audrey still harboured feelings for Kieran, the guy who loved her and left her 5 years ago - though what those feelings were, hmmm could it be love or hate?
Kieran never expected to see her again, but when their lives intersect through work, it brings out all those old feelings.
Gah, these two! You could feel the UST between them, the spark, the intensity. I mean, you can only really bicker and fight with someone like that if you really have feelings for them.
You couldn't help but fall in love with Audrey and Kieran as they fell in love again. There were some sexy times, there were some sad times. The guilt and remorse they both felt jumped off the pages as the story continued, but so did the hope, the fear of losing each other again, the growing happiness.
There were a couple of things that happened that made me want to throw my kindle to the side and scream at the characters. But there was so many times that I just had a big grin on my face. I loved that they didn't insta-fall-in-love-again. I was glad that Audrey made him fight for her, made him earn her trust.
I really did enjoy And Then He Kissed Me, and I will be going back and reading book 1 while I am waiting for the next book.

I am pretty late to reading Jill Shalvis books, and usually end up starting a series half way through! So it is great to finally start a series right as it begins.
I love a good second chance romance, and if you haven't guess from the title, this is exactly what we get here.
When Lily up and left Cedar Ridge without a word a decade ago, it ripped Aidan's heart out. And now she is back - how will they handle things.
I loved the spark between our lovelies. There is a fine line between love and hate, and this pair are toeing that line, but who will be the one to cross it?
Oh Aidan ♥ what is not to love about Aidan Kincaid? Like all of Ms Shalvis' books, she has given us a sweet, loving, alpha hero. Uber protective of "his woman" - whether she knows she is is woman or not.
Plus, hello - firefighter! Hose me down!
It took me a while to warm up to Lily. Not sure what it was, but once I warmed up to her I adored her. I could understand her thoughts about Cedar Ridge, but I wanted to shake some sense into her, tell her to pull her head out of her butt and see what is right in front of her.
There is a great openness between Aidan and the rest of his family. There is this amazing love for each other, no matter what. Doesn't stop the hijinx and jokes on each other *cough cough pink undies cough cough*. You can only fight with people you love the way they do and not have it come between them.
The relationship between our lovelies felt organic. There was so ,much history between them that they were just drawn to each other.
So, will Lily give in and let Aidan into her heart - again? Or will the past still come between them?
Nope, for that you are going to have to read for yourself.
I really enjoyed this first installment in the Cedar Ridge series, and cannot wait to read more about the Kincaid family and their adventures!

Though this is book 12 of the Rosemary Beach series, you could skip some (as I have done) but you would need to read at least book 11, When I'm Gone, for the start of Mase and Reese's relationship. There will be a few spoilery things for if/when you do go back to read the rest though.
After the surprise at the end of When I'm Gone, When You're Back picks up a few weeks later.
After everything that Reese has gone through, is has been wonderful being on the journey as she really blooms. Now in Texas, things have got to get better - right?
Enter Aida - Mase's "cousin" and Reese's competition - or so Aida thinks.
You know what, I really didn't think that the Aida storyline really needed to be included in When You're Back. I guess she was there to add a bit of angst and anger to the story, but with everything else that was going on with Reese, it felt a bit superfluous. But this could just be me.
There are some great secondary characters. I loved that we get a bit more of Grant and Harlow, and though Captain/River seems to be really disliked by a lot of people, as the story progressed I did like him (even when he frustrated me), and at the end it was like "woah".
And the scenes with Kiro - broke my heart - again!
Ms Glines has again cast a spell over me with this Rosemary Beach novel. As soon as I picked up When You're Back, I couldn't put it down. I got swept away with the story and did not want it to end.
I am looking forward to what she brings us next.

You will have to have read Manwhore before you start Manwhore +1, as this follows on right where the first book ended.
Firstly, I have to say - Malcolm has called Dibs on me - see, I have the photographic evidence!

Secondly -Malcolm Saint is just swoon worthy! Right from the start of the first book, Ms Evans has had me under some kind of spell. Even now, a day after finishing this book, I have a big smile on my face.
Malcolm/Saint/Sin - whichever name you call him, is a devil disguised as a Saint... or is he the other way around. I didn't think I could love him any more than I did after reading Manwhore, but nope, I was wrong.
Rachel and Malcolm had their fair share of hurdles to get over after the way book one ended - and I was glad that none of the issues were simply glossed over on the road to our lovelies finding their way to each other again. And man, the UST between them leaves the air crackling around them.
But do they get the HEA - nope, for that you are gong to have to read it yourself.
Again, their circles of friends - Gina and Wynn for Rachel, Tahoe and Callan for Malcolm - were great at giving us a gauge on how our lovers really were doing.
Though Gina - gah at times I wanted to scream at her! Take your negativity elsewhere woman! I hated how her debbie-downer attitude affected Rachel!
Manwhore + 1 had it all for me. It had heat. It had romance. It had just enough sadness and angst without it being over the top. Pretty close to perfect for me.
I hope at some stage we get to know more about the secondary characters, particularly Tahoe, and as much as she annoyed me at times, Gina!
Can't wait to see what Ms Evans brings us next.
