Cardeno C is a master at the m/m novella. I have read quite a few of their stories, and have enjoyed each and every one of them.
And Jumping In is no exception.
It is hard with a novella length story to get the information to the reader without us feeling that we are missing out on great chunks of the story, but this is not the case with Jumping In.
Clint is having a bad day, but Hawk knows just how to turn that around!
I loved the attraction between Clint and Hawk, they have been eying each other off for months but never done anything about it.
Hawk is just so... alpha! The way he takes care of Clint, the way he cares for Clint is just beautiful.
We get just enough information about their pasts that, even though they are just getting together, we don't feel like they are just meeting and jumping into bed together.
Jumping In is a sweet, sexy enjoyable romance that lovers of m/m will really enjoy.
Can't wait for what we get next.

What an interesting little book The Job is.
I admire Maddie for what she does for her kids. I think her ex husband is a douche canoe that I really didn't find anything redeeming about him!
You never v know who you are going to meet when you go outside your comfort zone and man Maddie's experiences are certainly different!
Then just as things are starting to get interesting, it ends.
I am looking forward to the next volume

3.5 stars
I am not sure how I feel about this one.
The first 40% I really enjoyed. I loved the sequel tension and bickering between our main protagonists.
But then came the sex. While the sex was hot, the talk wasn't! For a hot as hell rocker it just made me roll my eyes it was that bad!!
But then things ramped up again and I got back in to it. There was a plot line that I picked a mile away but where it goes I need to find out.
I loved Stacy most of the time but sometimes.e's just great
There are 3 more in this seris and I am still umming and ahing about reading them (though I know I will someday,)

It has been a couple of years since I last read this series. I have read so many books since I first devoured these, that I have to admit, I did struggle to read them again - not so much this and Darker, but definitely the first book.
I had forgotten how much Christian had changed. He sure has handed in his Dom-card by the time we get to Freed!
I will go going to see the movie still though!

Ever wondered what it would be to work for Gordon Ramsey? That it the kind of vibe I got from Yes, Chef!
This is a comfortable, quite predictable story. You pretty much know where the story is going to end up, but it is the ride we are taken on that is the fun part.
I have to admit, for the first say 1/3 of the book, our main character Becca kind of annoyed me. She felt pretty self centred and more than a bit whiny to me and it did grate - but she did get a lot better as the book continued.
Her boss Damien is an arse. There is no other word to describe him. I wonder if these celebrity chefs are really all this bad???? What does make them celebrities really any way? Hmm things to ponder!
I did mostly love Becca's circle of friends/workmates. Loved the banter between them, like you can only get with people you truly love.
I couldn't help but think of eating food in exotic locations while I was reading this book. The imagery, especially of the "road trips" I guess you would call them had me imagining the sights, sounds and smells of the places she visits.
At times I did want to knock some sense into Becca, as some of her choices, both personally and professionally at times made me question what the heck she was thinking.
But overall, this was a quick enjoyable read. If you have a few hours spare, grab a comfy chair, a cuppa and this book and lose yourself in their world.

This is the 3rd in this series and you have to have read the first 2 before picking up Stop
I think I liked this installment the best of the 3 so far. Jax and Braita's rollercoaster of a story continues, you never quite know where it is going to take you.
I love Braita's conflicting emotions, love her and Jax's friendship.
The only thing for me though - way too short! Just as I was really getting into it, it ended :( I think maybe I will wait till the next two parts are out before continuing - but this might not worry anyone else, but I hate the waiting!

A Restored Man is the third book in the Men of Halfway House series, but it can be read as a standalone - though why would you not want to have read the other two.
Anyone who has read my reviews over the past 12 months knows what a huge fan I have become of the m/m genre. So when the opportunity came to be part of the tour for A Restored Man it was a no brainer.
We first met Cole Renzo during A Hunted Man, though in the background as one of the residents at Halfway House. But even from the little we knew about him I knew I was going to like him.
Like him? Nah, I love him, with his beanies, and his sassy mouth that runs off faster than his brain can stop him. You know he is just going to talk himself into trouble!!
When he gets work with Ty Calloway - brother of Aidan who you meet in the first 2 books - you just know this is going to be a game changer - for both.
He wasn't the same man he was before.
He was broken.
Lately, there was only one thing that managed to get him up on the mornings. The one glimmer of happiness in his life wore a beanie to the shop every workday. He craved the laughter, the brash humor - regardless of how crass it may be. It was genuine. Unguarded. Uninhibited. Unmeasured. ~ Ty Calloway
I love love loved the way Cole and Ty interact. It is cheeky, sexy, fun. Both have things in their past they are trying to work through, and maybe just maybe they will be the ones to pull each other through.
"I'm going to get you a pair of those big, totally unattractive rubber boots."
Ty chuckled. "Why?"
"Because you like to fish for compliments too damn much." ~ Cole Renzo
There is also talk of some super sexy exotic cars.... **drools like Homer Simpson eyeing a doughnut**. As I was reading, I was imagining the cars they were talking about.
I enjoyed the fact that we got more of the guys from the earlier books - especially Matt and Julian. The way Cole taunts Julian, I couldn't help but have a giggle. The antagonism between the pair is great, especially when you know what is behind it all.
So, will Cole and his smart mouth be enough to bring back Ty to the man he used to be? Is Ty enough to help Cole stay on the straight and narrow/
Nope, for that you are going to have to read for yourself
I really, really have enjoyed this series from the get go. There is so much more to them than just a love story - though the love stories are incredible.
Ms Reese writes stories that suck me in from the start, and I don't want to stop reading. Her characters feel real, their issues are real, and you can't help but get emotional with them and for them.
