So after the second book jumping back 10 years, I was not sure where this 3rd installment was going to go.

This third and final installment of this serial series continues where book 1 ended.

Though it has been a decade, I felt like we were again going around in circles with this pair. They seemed to be going down that same path that brought their relationship to an end all those years back.

I felt that even though they are no longer the young couple they were back then, once they met back up they reverted back to the same old. I felt that neither of them had really grown or (though this could just be me) and that nothing had changed.

Did I want Alice and Mick to get their sh*t together and have a non-destructive relationship? Hell yeah I did! I wanted to slap the crap out of Mick and tell him to pull his head out of his ass, to grow up and for once in his life communicate! Gah he frustrated me!

The spark is still between this pair, but can that be enough?

For that you are going to have to read for yourself.

I have read plenty of Ms Hart's work previously and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I have read other serial series of hers that I have loved.

But in this case, Don't Deny Me just fell a little bit short. I liked it, but didn't love it.

I have read just about everything by Eden Summers, so when the opportunity came to read an ARC of A Shot of Sin - the first in the Vault of Sin series, of course I said yes!

And boy am I glad I did.

A Shot of Sin is a double shot of pleasure.

Leo, TJ, Brute and Shay are a fun group, the witty banter between them is enjoyable and funny.

And holy hotness Batman! The sexual tension and attraction between Leo and Shay is off the charts! You can feel it rolling off them whenever they are in the same room! I loved that it isn't all easy for them, they fight for what they want. This just makes it all feel more realistic (anyone who has read my reviews knows I don't like it when it all happens too easy for our lovers!!)

The premise of the Vault is intriguing. It is not like the usual BDSM club we get in our books. I am very much looking forward to reading more about it.

TJ and Brute just make this all the better for me. We learn just enough about TJ to keep us on the hook for what I am assuming will be the second book in the series. My heart just shatters for him with the little that we have learned so far, and I for one cannot wait to learn more.

This is a fantastic start to this series, and am very much looking forward to see where Ms Summers takes us on this journey.

Who would you choose - the man you think you should be, or the man your body, heart and soul cries out to be with.

This is Charlotte's dilemma - stick with the the safe, dependable Richard, or follow her heart and be with her sexy teacher's aide, Mason.

Ugh, Richard.  What a d*ck.  I disliked him right from the start.  He was arrogant,  self centred.  He just rubbed me the wrong way right from the get go.  I just couldn't understand why Charlotte was with him

Though as we get further into the story, yes I could see why Charlotte felt she should be with Richard, but the more she thought that, the more I wanted her to run, run as fast as she could.

Then there was Mason... le sigh.  You could feel the pull towards each other from the minute he walked into her life.  They really did have each other at hello.  There was nothing not to like about him.

As heads and hearts become involved, I really just wanted to shake some bloody sense into Charlotte.  Stop playing with both men (though Richard - pfff couldn't care what happened to him at all!  Not often that I don't care what happens to a character, good or bad, but him just ... nothing).

As I was reading, Charlotte's indecisiveness just got me so agro.  The flip flopping between the two men - gah!! I could  feel my body tensing up as I go frustrated with her!

You know I am invested in a story when I get that physical reaction to what is happening!

So, while this is a romance book, it is also - and maybe more so - a story of self discovery.

I enjoyed the story, it flowed well and I liked the writing.  I did not know what to expected when I first started reading, but I was invested right from the start.

Thank you Ms Stava for the chance to read Charlotte's Bed.

I adored Ms Vining's first book Beautiful Addiction so the chance to read Held Against You was a no brainer.

Kat is a girl on the run. Samuel is the bounty hunter sent to bring her in.

Right from the get go I loved Kat. She is my kind of girl, a bit of a geek. Loves everything 80's. And she is stronger than you think.

But is the hunter about to become the hunted?

I loved how Kat and Sam bonded over their troubled pasts. As much as they didn't want to like each other they just can't seem to help it.

There were a few twists and turns that kept me interested right from the get go.

I really did enjoy the game of cat and mouse they played with each other, and with others throughout their journey.

I love forward to what Ms Vining has for us next.

I will admit that until Ms Krat contacted our blog, I had not heard of her.

Flawed and Damaged intrigued me when I read the synopsis, so I was quite sure I was going to enjoy it.

And enjoy it I did!

Elizabeth and Ryan meet because of a misunderstanding - what a misunderstanding too! - and you can just feel that things are never going to be the same for either of them ever again.

Flawed and Damaged is the only way to describe the main characters. Both holding on tight to events in their pasts that are affecting them to this day. They have built up walls around themselves for so long you wonder if they are every going to move past them.

What I really liked about their story is that their romance was a slow burn. I am definitely NOT a fan of insta-love relationships. I want my characters to grow and learn about each other, not just jump into bed together.

There is that push-pull between our MCs. OMG my head was spinning with Ryan's mood swings! Seriously I never knew which was he was going to swing next! I wanted to grab him and shake some sense into him! I am surprised Elizabeth hung around with the way he was PMSing!!!!

I was cheering for him to get his act together and see what was in front of him, but I was not sure he was going to be able to do it.

Flawed and Damaged is written with alternating view in most chapter, which can sometimes irritate me, but this time it didn't. What did bother me and disconnect be a bit from the story, mainly because there was a fair bit of doubling up of dialogue from both characters. It disrupted the flow of the story for me. This did improve and get less as the story progressed though, and it might not bother others.

There are some fantastic secondary characters too. I adored Elizabeth's best friend Nina, and I am intrigued by Ryan's brother Mark. I hope we get more about him.

Flawed and Damaged does not end on a cliffhanger - hallelujah! - but it is kind of left opened to continue the story. There is a second book to this series that is due for release in 2015 (but no date as of yet).

There was some fantastic imagery. Being set in both Russia and France, I was drawn more to the French side of things - probably because we see more pictures of Paris than Moscow. I could imagine myself sitting on the balcony, eat chocolate croissants and looking at the Eiffel Tower.

Flawed and Damaged is a good debut novel, and I am interested to see where the next book takes us.

I was curious as to how The Florentine series was going to fit in with Gabriel's series, but as I read I could see where their stories were already starting to interweave during the Gabriel's series.

We have already kinda-sorta met the Prince. Remember Gabriel's Botticelli drawings? Remember the weird guy at the Uffizi following/staring at Gabrielle and Julieanne? Yeah, that guy was him, and therein lies their connection

I am not a huuuuge supernatural/paranormal reader - I read some but it is not my favourite genre. The vampire Prince and his minions/followers are not that vampirey though.

I did enjoy this crossover. It is always hard to join two series together seamlessly, and especially in a novella where there is a lot of information to fit in a small book, but I feel the Sylvain Reynard has done this with The Prince.

Of course our darlings Gabriel and Julieanne are sexy and hot and sooo in love that you get drawn right back into their world

I am now very much looking forward to reading The Raven. There are things I need to know. What does The Prince know about Julieanne? What will he do with Gabriel?

The imagery, as always with Reynard's writing, is amazing. I could imagine myself in the piazza, looking over the skyline of Florence.

I am glad that we don't have long to wait for The Raven, as I feel that Raven Wood is going to really shake things up in The Prince's world

Oh, and I liked the handy glossary at the end of the book - especially helped with the pronunciation of those celtic names!

I love a book about a sexy, fit, fighter.

Hard Knocks was a great start to the Ultimate series by Ms Foster. I do love a good book about a MMA fighter.

It is often hard with a novella to get enough information across to the reader, but I did not feel that this was the case with this book.

We learn enough about Gage and Harper's previous kind-of-but-not-really relationship that I did not feel that I was missing anything.

We also learn a little about the rest of the fighters at the rec centre, and I am sure we will learn more about these two as the series continues. With all the steam between them in just this novella, things have gotta heat up for them later on too!

This is a sweet, sexy-hot quick read, and now I can't wait to read the next book (and first full length novel) in the series

I couldn't wait to get my greedy little hands on Garrett!

We met and fell in love with (well I did anyway!) Garrett in the first book in the Cold Fury series Alex. He is Alex's best friend, and a heck of a lot of fun.

I always knew it was going to take a heck of a woman to tame Garrett Samuelson, and Olivia is that plus more. Loved her from the minute she turns up in the pages. She was smart, sassy, didn't take Garrett's crap and gave back as good as she got. What's not to love??

I just adored being taken on the journey as Garrett hands over his man-whore card! Who knew he had it in him!

But it is not all sweet and happy with Garrett and Olivia. Olivia's medical issues are not something anyone can take lightly, even though she tries to keep them from Garrett... for his own good of course.

I can't tell you how many times I broke down into tears while reading this book. I had to put it down and reach for the tissues - maybe even a bit of a snotty ugly cry at times.

There was quite a bit of medical jargon in Garrett - though this was explained well enough that you don't feel confused about it all. There may have been a bit too much of it though, a little wordy and a bit repetitious at times.

So, do Garrett and Olivia get the happy ever after? Nope, for that you are going to have to read for yourself!

I love love loved that we got more of Alex and Sutton. Also more of the Cold Fury players, coaches and family.

There was also a pretty big side story involving teammate Zack, that I am sure we will get lots more of in Zack's book.

I tell you now... if Ms Bennett broke my heart in Garrett, she is going to completely smash it to smithereens in Zack.]

Can't wait to read more!
