I will be honest - I have had the first book in this series, Seducing Cinderella, on my kindle forever waiting for me to read it, but when it sits amongst a few thousand other books, it had gotten shuffled down the TBR list a bit. But not for much longer now!
I did not feel that I missed much of the story by not reading the first book, as book 2 focused on 2 different characters.
Vanessa has her 7 rules to live by, and she doesn't break them for anyone.
Jackson (Jax) has her around for a week, and he is determined to break each and every one of those rules.
I LOVED Vanessa and Jax together!
I thoroughly enjoyed following as he slowly but surely knocked down the walls that Vanessa had built up around herself. Surely, who could say no to him? I have to say my thoughts did turn to the dirty when there was Jax training scenes - lots of hot, sweaty fighters all in the one place? I dare you NOT to have imagine that!!!!
Ms Maxwell created a world that I crawled right into and did not want to leave. I felt like I was there with Jax and Nessie as they were falling in love, add to that the backdrop of Hawai'i, and you have one beautiful, funny, romantic love story.
Oh, and did I mention that it was pretty hot too?
I am kicking myself now for not reading this series earlier, and I will be getting back into the series and reading Fighting for Irish ASAP.

I love Austin and Mac!
Austin is back on track after a troubled youth. Mac, she is just trying to be a normal girl for a change, not "America's Sweetheart".
What will happen if Austin finds out who she really is? Can she ever find a normal guy who wants her for her, not because she is a celebrity?
I loved how they work their way through all the BS to try to find a normal relationship. I can't imagine what it would be like to live your life in the spotlight, to never be able to trust other people.
Ms McLaughlin has given us a fun, quick, sexy read and drew me right into the spring break feel of the story. The story was full of emotion, happy and sad.
The only thing wrong with it was that it was too short (as were all 3 novellas in this anthology!). I want more!!

They never expected or wanted to fall in love over spring break, but Quinn, Cassie and Mac are all for no strings attached sex.
When Quinn's eyes meet James's across a crowded spring break party, that went out the window.
I love that neither Quinn nor James are what everyone else thinks they are. Quinn is not the ice queen, and James is not just the rich party boy.
This is written from dual POV's which could have been confusing, but the way Ms Probst has written them, it is anything but. I loved that we got right into the heads of both characters.
Of course the road to true love is never a smooth one, so there is the misunderstanding that breaks them up. Ugh, I really, REALLY disliked James' "friends", if you could really call them that.
Will the misunderstanding be too much for their fledgling relationship, or if what they have had in their short time together stand up to the test?
Quinn and James are so sexy together, I just want them to make it. Do they?
Nope, for that you are going to have to read for yourself.

I have loved The Chocolate Lover's series from the first page of Seduction and Snacks, and now I am loving these.
Gavin was a precocious 4 year old, walking around telling all and sundry about his penis.
Now he 25 years old, has a great job... and still talks about his penis!
I loved that he is older but still as funny. And don't get me started on his best friend Tyler - he is just like Drew was back in the other series.
Loved that we got more of Claire and Carter, Jim and Liz and Jenny and Drew. They are still as rude and crude as ever.
I had been on a run of books that were ripping my heart out sad and really needed a good laugh, and this was just the thing I needed.
Tara Sivec, you can do no wrong in my eyes! Thank you for giving us grown up Gavin!!

**If you have not read books 1-3 in this series, you will need to do this before reading this book**
More Ethan Blackstone - yes please! I was excited when I heard that we were going to get more of this sexy dominant man. Ms Miller story telling has gotten better with each and every book in this series. I have become invested in the lives of Ethan, Brynne and their soon-to-be baby Peaches.
A lot has happened since we first met Ethan and his beautiful American girl Brynne - it feels like we have known them forever, even though it has really only been about 4 months in their lives.
We begin at their wedding... sigh, just beautiful. They seem to have found the blissful happiness that we all want in our book couples. But things start to crash down around them as demons from their past force their way back into their lives. Ethan is finally dealing with the PTSD that has shaped him since he returned from wall. People from Brynne's past, who she wants to forget and leave right back there, surface and drag her back into their dramas.
While I really liked this book, I didn't LOVE it like I have with the rest of the series. I love love love Ethan and Brynne, but I felt that we could have had a bit more depth into this story. Yes, there were things that needed to be taken care of from the past, but perhaps a bit too much attention went into those parts of the story? There was plenty of sex, which was hot as always ~ LOVE Mr B and what he says and does with his filthy mouth ~~ but I wanted a bit more story development.
In the end, this felt more like an extended epilogue? But this could just be me.
We finally meet baby Peaches, and I think we could have had more time watching E and B develop as parents and would have loved more of Peaches.
I feel that our characters do get closure to their story, it just left me wanting a little bit.
I adore Ms Miller and her writing, and I will continue reading all that she releases in the future.

When I Break had me at "Warning: Contains a stubborn alpha male with addiction issues and loads of sexual tension between two damaged characters."
Knox is the consummate bad boy. Legal trouble, slut, trouble with a capital T.
McKenna is the consummate good girl. A fixer. A helper. A virginal sex addiction counsellor ~ I know, it sounds like a bizarre career choice!
When their worlds collide in sex addicts counselling, it is just trouble in the making!
But there is so much more to both of these characters. They have both had tragic events in their pasts that have shaped who they are today. Guilt controls them both and will either make them or break them.
Can these two complete opposites be perfect together, or will their differences be too great and keep them apart? For that you are going to have to read for yourself.
I loved the Knox that is beneath the bad boy. I am not going to go into what he is all about, but swoon worthy I tell you!
While there are some funny moments and times when you just want to groan and roll your eyes, their stories are such that you cannot help but get invested in them. Both so young with so much on their shoulders, you just know that eventually they are going to crack, but what will the consequences be?
It did bother me a little that with all her counselling training McKenna has not learned that she is not at fault for things that happened to others, considering that is what she is teaching others? I know that it is always easier looking in, but her constant blame game started to grate on me a little bit and made me roll my eyes at her ~~ but this could just be me?
The sexual chemistry between Knox and McKenna is off the charts. You could cut the UST with a knife!!! Where will it all end up?
For that we are all going to have to wait until the next book.
And beware, just as things were getting really interesting.... BAM! We were cliffhangered!!
But this didn't bother me as much as it might have, as I did know it was going to be one, and it is not too long until the next installment is published.
I am looking forward to seeing where Knox and McKenna's "relationship" goes as this series continues.

Before you is Cassie's story, and the one that I liked the least of the three. Don't get me wrong, I really liked it, just not as much as the other two novellas.
Cassie meets the guy she thinks she can have her fling with, only to find out that he has a girlfriend back home, but he would love to be her friend.
Denied.
Tyler is cute and sexy, but also confusing as hell. Talk about mixed signals. He says he really likes her, but won't sleep with her. Poor Cassie doesn't know which way is up around him.
He does also have a penchant for quirky/funny tshirts
Add to that someone attacking girls who look like her, and it is a wonder that Cassie doesn't go completely loco!
This novella had a lot more going on in it than Mac and Quinn's. A lot more that was not the sexy romance kind of thing. It is an intriguing storyline, but was not what I expected after reading the first two book
I did really like Tyler, but I wanted to shake him and ask "what the hell man!?!" Is he up to no good? Does he really have a girlfriend back home or is it all talk? Is he a good guy or a bad guy?
Uh uh, I will never tell.
Ms Bennett has written a mysterious novella, a lot darker than the other two in the anthology, but still a great read. Just don't expect any sexy times to happen very quickly!

Walk Into Me continues where "Watch Me Walk Away" ends so you should probably read it before hand (though it could be read as a stand alone)
This is the story of the love triangle between Lisa, Bobby and Brad.
Gah! What is it with procrastinating women leading on two good men?!?!?!
Anyway, carry on.
Bobby has always been in love with Bobby, but he has a habit of walking away and leaving her broken hearted.
Brad is the guy who has been in love with Lisa for eternity. He is her best friend. Steady, dependable. Always there for her.
Lisa flip flops between the two guys, and gees Louise it was like a tennis match!!
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. I really, really wanted to love Lisa, but grrrrrr man she annoyed the heck out of me! More than once I wanted to climb into my kindle and slap some sense into her. The way she strung Brad along was torture!
I spent the first half of the book wanting to yell at Lisa to make her choice damn it, and the second half of the book wanting to scream at Brad to move on, she's not worth the heartache!!
My heart shattered over and over for Brad. How could he keep going back to her? For that I wanted to slap some bloody sense into him. I mean yeah, the heart wants what the heart wants, but the way she kept using him
Then there is Bobby. I am still not sure what I feel for Bobby. His history with Lisa was a bit dodgy and some of the things that he does... not sure of him.
Who does Lisa end up with? Will anyone get their HEA?
For that you are going to have to read for yourself.
Ms Prand has written a book that frustrated the hell out of me, but I got completely sucked into the soap opera that is Lisa's life. It had been a while since I read the first book, so it took me a bit to remember what had happened, but once I got back into it I enjoyed it.
