Have I told you before that I love firemen? No? Well... I love firemen!

This is the 5th book in Bachelor Firemen series, but it is the first that I have read. This did not take away from my enjoyment of this series, as it looks like each book can be read as a standalone, though all the firemen's stories intertwine a bit, but I did not feel that I was missing a lot.

Cherie and Vader have had an on and off relationship for a while. They run hot and heavy, then she runs cold. Gah I wanted to shake some sense into her too many times to count

Vader is the station clown, always one up for a laugh or to play a practical joke. But he hides a lot behind that clown facade.

Cherie is running from her past. Her past is making her push Vader away.

Vader's had enough. No more. Time to move on. But when Cherie's past comes back to haunt her, will he walk away or will he be dragged back into her web?

I gotta admit I loved Vader. My heart broke for him over and over as he tried to get Cherie to love him as much as he loves her.

I struggled with Cherie's behaviour towards Vader, I really did. I can kind of understand why she acts the way she does, but it does not make it any less frustrating for the reader. A lot of the time I was thinking "Really Cherie, that's what you're going to do now?" and "Run away as fast as you can Vader!!", but I was also a cheerleader for their relationship. I want them to sort things out.

Do they sort things out, or does the San Gabriel Bachelor Firefighter curse strike again?

For that you are going to have to read for yourself.

I adored MOST of the secondary characters. Love the other firemen. They made me laugh, they made me cringe. But they are family and were fantastic.

But Cherie's sister 'Trixie' ~~ grrrr OMG how annoying can a person get! But in the end she got a lot better.

Four Weddings and Fireman was a cute, quirky, comical read, with a darker side that at times made me shake my head, rounded out Vader and Cherie's story well.

Ms Bernard has created a family of great characters who you cannot help but get invested in their lives. The story flowed well (even when it made me want to scream!!) and enjoyed her writing style.

Now I need to go back and read about all the other bachelor firemen!

I'll Take a Chance begins where Take a Chance (Asher and Willow's story ends ~ Willow about to give birth to baby Abbey

On the way to meet her brand new niece, Amelia Wellington (Asher' sister) literally runs into Dr Kyle Peters ~~ the doctor who just delivered her niece. And their relationship keeps on running from that moment on.

Amelia has had some bad relationships in the past that have hardened her heart to love. Her ex really did do a number on her, all for things that are quite common. He is a douchebag and I wanted to slap him stupid.

Kyle is just lovely. He is sweet, caring. Sexy as sin. He also has some family dramas in his life that he is trying to move on from.

Can these two with their broken confidence and broken hearts move forward? Are they perfect for each other or is it all too much?

For that you are going to have to read for yourself!!

Kyle and Amelia's worlds collide in another way that I am not going to tell you what it is, but it was a "wow!" moment when you figure it out.

Loved Amelia's family. Such a close, loving family, and even though they are all up in each others business and it would drive me insane if it was my family, I loved their closeness.

I'll Take a Chance is written from dual POV's, and while I am not always a fan of this, Ms Nicole has written both sides of the story well and it was great to get in both MC's heads.

I'll Take a Chance is a fast paced, sweet, romantic story, a sweet romance with a bit of suspense thrown in for good measure. Maybe sometimes a little too fast paced ~ I am not a fan of insta-love relationships ~ but this is just my opinion.

Now, which Wellington will be the next to be Running Into Love?

I was soooooo excited to receive and ARC of Uncaged. I am a HUGE fan of the Corps Security series, and when I found out we were getting a novella about Cage, I may or may not have broken out the Carlton dance!~

I am not a huge fan of novellas, as a lot of the time they feel rushed, but this is definitely not the case with Uncaged.

Was it too short - hell yes! But only because I want to live in Corps Security world forever!!

The crew are still coming to grips with what happened in the last book (Beck) and this novella, while it is predominantly a book about Greg, Melissa and Cohen, it also deals with the rest of the lads and lasses in the Corps family.

Cohen is an absolute scene stealer. He is the best 4 year old EVER (well, equal with Gavin from Tara Sivec's Chocolate Lover's series)

"C-Man, what are you doing awake?"
"Got things to do, Daddy!"

He is turning into a mini alpha man!

Harper Sloan has done it again. I laughed, my heart broke, my heart exploded with love.

If you have read the rest of this series, you are absolutely going to love it. If not, why not? Get reading Axel, Cage and Beck, then come back and read Uncaged, you will not be disappointed.

The Law of Attraction is a sweet, funny, lighthearted read that was just the thing that I needed after reading a string of angsty, heartbreaking books in a row.

Gabrielle and Braden have been eyeing each other off across the courtroom for months, and finally they take the chance to take things further.

I LOVED that this pair were just into the moment. No dark, horrible pasts coming to haunt them. Sure he was a bit of a player, and she didn't want that, but she wants him.

"I didn't want a one night stand and I didn't want to share, so it seemed like Mr Pierce was off limits. Now, if someone could just explain that to inner-Gabrielle. And my vagina."

The chemistry between the pair is off the charts. Not just the sexual chemistry, just their chemistry in general. You can see that they are not just going to be lovers, they are going to be best friends and soul mates.

When they finally get together I felt all "woohoo"

But the sexcapades **fan myself** - hooey, this pair are off the charts hot! I love that they could not keep their hands of each other and got up to a little something something in some of the best places!! The innuendo is smart, sexy, funny.

It is not just the MC's that made this book for me. I LOVED the secondary characters. Adam and Mark, Jess and Cam. Together they just make the perfect gang.

And Judge Channing! You can almost see the vein in his forehead about to pop at times. Some of the cases that Gabrielle (Public defender) and Braden (assistant district attorney) try are fantastic. Over the the top funny. Some of the court scenes are some of the best in the book

Add into it a bit of a whodunnit and some crazy Scooby Doo style antics, and you have a fun zany read. A great way to spend a lazy afternoon ~ great book and hot cuppa.

The Home Cour Advantage starts off where The Law of Attraction finishes up.

Gabrielle and Braden are happily in love, and have just got engaged.

But this does not mean that all the fun and games has ended.

The whodunnit from book 1 still has not been solved, so there are more crazy Scooby Gang antics. This time everyone is dragged into them, and some of the scenarios are hilarious. There is no dumpster diving this time around, but we do have hippies, UFO believers and conspiracy theorists.

"After the later lecture, wherein we discovered that certain celebrities might be aliens, which explained a lot about Miley Cyrus, we went back to the cabin."

There is a result in the whodunnit, and I had kind of guessed the who, but the how and why I hadn't.
While Braden and Gabrielle and well on their way to their HEA, there are still so many more lawyers to take the plunge.
Jess and Cam have finally taken that first step and have become a couple. They are pretty quiet really compared to when Braden and Gabrielle got together ~ they just sort of happened.
But the sparks between Adam and Lily are enough to start fires! There is a fine line between love and hate, and these two are toeing that mighty fine line. Your fingers will get burnt with the heat between these two. And it is a fantastic set up for the next book in the series.
All of these lawyers really are a whole bunch of bonkers!!

And of course we can't forget that amazing protector and attack dog, Bruno! He is a scene stealer!!

While there are not as many laugh out loud moments in the Home Court Advantage, I was just as drawn into the lives of these lawyers and their wonderful families, and I am impatiently waiting for the next book in the series, Adam and Lily's book, Legal Briefs.

4.5 stars!!!

Until Lilly is the 3rd book in the Until series, and in my opinion, it is the best so far.

At the end of Until Trevor, Cash drops a bombshell that shocks his family, and rocks his world to the core.

Four years down the track, Cash and Lilly's worlds crash together, and neither of them will ever be the same.

You know what I reallllly loved about this book? It's that the MC's did not spend 80% of the book fighting their attraction, it was that they got their crap sorted out in the beginning and we got to watch as their relationship blossomed and grew into the strong, loving relationship. Such a refreshing change!

Cash is just wonderful. Yes he did something for the right reasons, even though it made him and Lilly miserable ~ but he did get his wonderful boy Jax out of it. He stole my heart early on in the book and kept it locked away right till the end.

Lilly is a strong, passionate, lovable klutz! Her past relationship with Cash also resulted in a beautiful daughter, who Lilly's world has revolved around for a long time.

Jax and Ashlyn are just too cute for words. Absolutely adorable!

Of course we can't have a relationship come too easy, so add in Jax's ex Jules, and the crazy factor goes through the roof!! She is a few sandwiches short of a picnic!

The Mayson family are fantastic. All the brothers have each other's backs, their ladies keep them grounded, and have become as much of a part of the family as if they were born into it.

I was drawn right into Cash and Lilly's story and was taken along for the ride as they fell back in love and created their family.

Ms Reynolds has drawn me into the world of the Mayson's and I have loved, laughed and cried with them as the series has progressed. The characters are developing each book into well rounded, believable characters.

Now, bring on Nico. He is so mysterious, I just know his story is going to be full of surprises!

Review to come on release day / blog tour

This is the 3rd books in the Love Inc series and though it could be read as a standalone for Suri and Marchant's story, it is better to read the first two books, Selling Scarlett and Taming Cross to get a better idea of who everyone is and what they are all about.

Marchant is a complicated man, and while at times I thought he was a complete ass and I wanted to shake him and tell him to wake up to himself, at other times my heart just melted for him.

I love the fact that the relationships are worked for, not an insta-love kind of situation where the MC's fall instantly in and in bed to live happily ever after. I love a story with a bit of substance and Ms James gives us that in abundance.

Although Unmaking Marchant is not a cliffhanger, there was a stage at the end where I went "whhhhhaaaaat!!".

I am looking forward to the coming novella and more of Ms James' works.

Love Required is the 3rd book in the Real Love series, and I have to say that this series just keeps getting better and better. Each book I keep getting drawn deeper and deeper into the lives of these characters.

Tori has had a pretty horrific past couple of years, but she is such a strong woman that she is not going to let her past keep her down.

Jason, who we have met in the previous two books, Love Realized and Love Resisted, is the kind of man we all want. Strong, possessive, alpha. But with the kindest, sweetest heart you could ever imagine. He wants the kind of love that his friends have been finding, but doesn't hold out hope that it will happen any time soon.

I think we all need a Jason.

Tori is tested over and over, and I loved watching as she, her young daughter, and Jason triumph over all the dramas that are thrown at them ~ and there is a couple of doozies, I can tell you!

Love Required has it's fair share of ups and downs. What it doesn't have is one or both the MC's umming and ahhing about having a relationship. They both want it and they both go for it. Is it all easy ~ hell no, and I love it for it!

I also love that we get more of the crazy gang that is Jason's family and friends. We get more of Jake and Gillian and their boys, more of Mike and Allie. This is such a tight-knit group of family and friends, and they are there for each other through thick and thin. The make me laugh, they make my heart break and make me smile till I feel my face might break. And I love how their group is expanding with more partners and friends as the series goes on.

I also think that every girl needs and Allie or Tessa (Tori's best friend) in their lives.

And then there is Logan. Yes, he behaved despicably in the first book, and yes he deserved everything he got. But now as time has gone by, you can feel his loneliness and his heart breaking as everyone around him is finding love.

I hope that even as much as an idiot he was when we first met him, that he does eventually get his HEA.

Ms Codina has created a series filled with characters that we can all relate to one or more of. Her writing is crisp, and the story flowed well. I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.
