After DNFing my last JP read, I was hoping for more this time.
Well, I did finish this one, but I will say that I nearly put this one down for good more than once.
I liked the connection between our lovelis, but man oh man, Chiara in particular, and Sebastian tried my patience.
I got the best friend/dead wife thing was something they had to overcome, but sheesh, did they drag that out. I wanted to tell Ryder to run run run just as fast as he can away from her. I am glad they removed heads from sphincters, but it was hard work for me to get to the end.
So, whilst this was not my favourite Jen Probst story, it wasn't the worst.
But I think for a while it is time for me to walk away from them and come back fresh down the track.

Holy cliffhanger Batman (but also expected so not too bad).
Zayn and Vivi's story is hot, sexy and sweaty and left me wanting .
Looking forward to seeing where the story goes next

Short, sweet and hot at Hades!
The Biker's Virgin is a quick read, and that being said, it is insta-everything. Everything happens at warp speed, and whilst I am not a fan of the insta-love, it didn't really bother me this time.
I loved Cade's dirty, dirty mouth and can't blame Piper for wanting it on her!
Sexy, drama filled and one heck of a ride. If you are wanting a hot biker to fill an hour or two, read The Biker's Virgin.

Kelly Rimmer has again given us a thought provoking, at times heartbreaking tale set in out not too distant past.
The German Wife gives us points of view prior, during and after World War 2, and it will break your heart then lift it right up again. We are set in Nazi Germany, the US Dust Bowl and post war Alabama, so we have a lot to process as we are reading
You can tell that the author has done extensive research into Operation Paperclip and the US Government bringing German scientist to work on their space programme - I am wondering if our main male character Jurgen is based on Von Braun?
This shows us the reality of the post war period. the prejudices faced by those who have had their choices taken away, when they are just trying to do what they have to do to keep their family safe.
I cried at times as I was reading. We sit here in the here and now and complain about how difficult things are (and yes, they are our complaints and are allowed to own then), but when I sit and read about what people of my grandparents generation went through, I do think we can be quite a whiney bunch!
The Gernan Wife is a poignant story that will leave you thinking about it for a long time after finishing it.

If you thought that was a cliffhanger at the end of book one, wow, you will really think it is a huge one after book 2.
We pick up right after the end of Dirty Games, and we take off at a full run, never stopping for breath.
I liked that we got more of the Zayn / Beckett background.
I feel for Zayn and Vivi as they have to keep their relationship under wraps.
I hate Gia and Robert (those two douchenozzles would be perfect together) and I had very visceral reactions every time they did their crappy things.
And just as you think "OK, things will be fine now", we have another cliffhanger with a big WTF moment.
Let's hope this next month goes quick for the conclusion of Zayn and Vivi's story,

I love my stories when one night stand/never to see again comes back into our character's lives.
Sutton has finally decided to move on from a crappy relationship, Callahan is on the road to redemption with his brothers (though there was no need as the story goes on, his brothers are quick d!ck!sh about things IMO).
When their worlds collide again, they find themselves in quite the pickle, and it did irk me a bit that Callahan could not see how this put Sutton in a precarious position.
But there was development in his character and I came to really like him.
Great narration by Hunter and Shedlock. can't wait for the other brothers
