You had me at goats!

Grumpy guts Mason doesn't know what hit him when his best friend's sister comes to stay, when her life in DC comes to a screeching halt.

But man, there is nothing but sparks beneath the gruff exterior, and even his heart can't deny her.

Heather, Heather, Heather. Now, I love what you are doing in Vermont, but for the love of God, the flip flopping about having to go home when you have all that in front of you - girl, you blind or stupid or something lol. I would stay in a heartbeat I tell ya!

I did love the people around the farm and town - I don't even like coffee, but I would be in the Busy Bean every day for Roderick's baked goodies (and would put on so much weight they would have to roll me out of there)

One thing that irked me though - everything was so bad in DC, then poof, one thing and all of it was done and dusted. Just didn't ring right that these things wouldn't have carried on - but this is just a me thing.

These books need to go on forever and ever.

Also, did I mention there were baby goats??

Yay for Christmas stories! I could read them all year round (especially this year when we will be lucky to see family for Christms - thanks 'rona)

I was expecting the usual Christmas fare, with eggnog and hot chocolate and happy families.

While we sort of got that, we got a lot more too. We got family dramas (like every other Christmas book out there) but they were a lot deeper and darker and a lot more emotional than I was expecting.

Can I say I hated one character in particular who is so darn selfish that I just wanted to punt her out of the room every time she she showed up.

I adored the connection between Charlotte and Wyatt, from the beginning right to the end. You can't help but want, no need them to be together.

I smiled a lot whilst reading, and there were times reading that got me all down. But Ms James picked me right back up again.

I haven't read any other books by Ms James, but I will keep an eye out for more in the future

Yay for Christmas books, there is no such thing as too many of them.

I liked Christmas Wishes, but didn't love it.

I couldn't really connect with anyone in this one, and this is more on me than the book itself.

I know many others are going to absolutely adore this one, but we were not a good fit

This is a slower paced book than we usually get with a Stephen King story, however I feel that if it had been any faster paced, it would not have worked as well as it did.

I also liked that there wasn't any pnr/spn aspects to this story, it is all human nature and all the good and the bad that it can be.

Billy Summers shows that you should not judge a person on your assumptions. He is a master at what he does, and should never been underestimated.

There is such a range of good guys, bad guys and I don't know who to trust guys, that Mr King kept us on our feet the whole way through.

And that ending- say whaaaat?!? I was definitely not expecting that - well played Mr King, well played.

I would like more books like this in the future.

I liked this book, but didn't love it.

Not sure what it was about it, but there was something I can't put my finger on that didn't gel with me.

This is just my feeling, and I am sure that many many readers are going to love it.

Such a cute story, and I was glad that it was one that wasn't too heavy on the drama. Sure, there were issues with our lovelies, but nothing to over the top and nothing that wasn't resolved quickly.

There was something that happens that I picked from a mile away, but it was the waiting game for it to happen.

I loved the crew from the Busy Bean, and I have a sweet spot for Gabe's dad.

I also liked that this book was straight to the point, no faffing about to get where we needed to go.

Well, hello sexy Irish single dad!

We have another grumpy lumbersexual in Declan. The light to his dark is Solana/Sunny and she is strong and feisty.

Declan has his dramas - names an ex wife who needs a strong slap about the head. Boy, what a cow is that one.

And don't get me started on Sunny's brother - that one needs a nut punch. Like, a kick that moves his balls to his throat lol

There is an absolutely scene stealer that will run far far away with you heart.

Sunny and Declan are two broken souls who find a light in each other, and bring light to those around them.

This is the end of the Busy Bean series, and I am going to miss them

It seems an age since we have had a story from Ms Aurora (no shade here, I have just missed reading her stories) and Vik was a great way to get back to it.

It has been a hot while since Lev, so I am not ashamed to say that i don't remember much other than I loved Lev back then, and i adored Vik and Nastasia here. Well, most of the time, the rest of the time they frustrated the heck out of me.

There's is a difficult relationship, and not always an easy read. I mean, JFC people.

This pair, as much as they say they love each other, they are sure as sh!t pretty toxic to each other. There is a fine line between love and hate, and this pair cross that line a heck of a lot.

And Nas, Nas, Nas - stop the blame game girl, cos you are throwing that shade in the wrong direction. i got a bit tired of her blaming Vik for everything when she was the one who walked away.

And FFS people - communicate. All these years you have known each other, and all this stupid sniping and blaming and you can't have a decent, adult, sensible conversation. That, more than anything else, gave me the irrits!

I did also find that there was so much back and forward between Vik and Nas that it did feel to me that it dragged along.

I enjoyed seeing more of Lev and Mina - Mina's cooking exploits had me cracking up more than once.

There is also a character who I am sure that we are supposed to hate, but I couldn't. There was something about Roam that called to me! I hope we see more of him in the future.

OH no! I hate to say it, but I didn't love this book as I have most everything else I have read by Ms Hunting.

And 95% of that is down to our leading man, Declan.

Or as I have named him, Jerky McJerkerson of Jerksville.

May, that man needed a swift kick in the nads at the beginning, and an even bigger one in the latter half of the book.

What could have been a wonderful story of best friends to more turned into a story with a horribly selfish man, who made everything about himself, even when he was the one to cause all the crap in the beginning.
Gah! You may have guessed that I didn't like Declan, and you would be right!

Avery, I get why she felt the way she did, why she did the things she did, but boy, I wanted her to tell Dec the Dic to take a hike.

The first half of the story I really adored, but the second half I was not a fan of at all.

But this is just me, I am sure everyone else is going to love it.

Sorry Ms Hunting, but this one didn't hit with me.
