Why did I never read this before?
Novellas are a hard one to review t times, as they are often rushed, however I did not feel this wirh Andy and Katie's story.
I thought it was great that Andy wasn't the regular old college cocky jock, and was genuinely a nice guy

Natasha Lester has given us another exquisite story with The Riviera House.
Told during both WW2 and the current day, she weaves a heartbreaking, beautiful story of love and loss - not just of the human kind.
Told by Eliane in WW2 and Remy in the current day, their lives interweave in ways that no one would have expected back in the 1940s, and the heartbreak of back then is still alive today.
Ms Lester always does so much research into her stories, and as I am reading along, I am Googling the things she is telling us about. It is like homework, but with things that I really am interested in.
My heart hurt as the story moves along, but the last chapter or so really brought on the tears.
There were a few twists and turns that surprised me along the way.
I was swept away with this story, and you will be too;

#Bashan's story came to its wonderful conclusion in Truth or Dare, and for me it was just one beautiful page after another
I loved that even while Kieran and Bash have some big, life changing decisions to make, there is no OTT, unnecessary drama, no stupid miscommunications, nothing that will have you pulling your hair out.
They acted like the two adults in love, making a life together - just like they should.
Loved seeing the other Bailey brothers and their lovelies.
I will say that seeing Xander the way he was in this one cracked me up.
I am going to miss being right int heir lives, but I know that this is not going to be the last we see of them.
Bravo Brooke and Ella on another faaaabulous series
PS I need pictures of that g-string - you know what I am talking about!

KU read
I really liked the first half of this book, however after things took a turn, nope.

3.5 stars
I've had this forever and just got round to readibg it.
I liked Gabi and Lex for the most part.
Lex was creepy sex obsessed guy that felt a bit hinky to me for too long.
And why don't this pair communicate.
And why did it take 90% of the book for them to talk to their best friend ugh

What a jolly ol' romp around the French Riviera in this brand new series from Zara Keane.
If you have read her latest Movie Club Mysteries story, Apocalypse Meow, you have met our dashing leading lady Angel Doyle. But it doesn't matter if you haven't as this can be read as a stand alone from that series.
I must say, the ability to stumble across bodies seems to run in the Doyle genes, as the bodies count continues to rise.
Angel sure can get herself into some predicaments, and gets out of them in amusing and creative ways.
And with her new side-kick Sidney (who is a bit of a dark horse, I gotta say), we never knew what was going to happen next.
There were as many twists and turns in this story as the roads around Nice. Throw in a red herring or two and you have a classic Keane mystery.
Well developed and intriguing characters, I was left wondering all along who I could trust and just what was *insert name here) up to!
I am looking forward to more of the Travel PI series.

I have really liked all the Anita Hughes bookes I have read to date, but unfortunately this one was a bit of a miss for me.
I loved the premise of the story. I really enjoyed the past timeline and the Eloise at the Plaza stuff.
But man oh man, this pair really need to learn how to communicate, as it was frustrating seeing them get on so well with each other, but then not being honest (even if it was by omission).
And don't get me started on that spoiled man child Spencer who needed a swift kick in the pants.
I know others are going to love this one, but it wasn't really for me

Yaaaas girl! Finally a story where our lovely leading lady is differently-abled right from the beginning, not because of an accident during the course of the book
Dr Frankie Kenton is freaking amazing. I love how she is what she is, loves what she loves and doesn't hold back from trying things out.
And I love those guys in the Dogg pack, and Jay didn't disappoint there either.
This story is a lot of things. It is smart, it is funny, it is sexy. But it will also break your heart at times to.
Ms Mitchell, I can't wait for more the All Access series

Yay, Sarina is back in the her Moo U world, and Boyfriend was just adorable.
I love a fake romance story, as I love seeing the characters catch real feels and not realise it lol
Abbi and Weston are too cute. The story is nothing new, but it was still sweet and funny and sexy - but ugh why why why do they always let the relationships around them eff them up? Ugh!
Be different, characters, and forget what they all did and be yourself - but this could just be me.
I loved seeing characters that were introduced in the World of True North series again, and loved that our lovelies come full circle.
I want to steal Weston from Abbi for myself, as I just freaking love him. Think I got a chance?

Every time I pick up a Nicola Haken story, I tell myself that this is the time that she isn't going to wreck me.
Nope. I was wrong - again.
Bring Me Home decimated my heart, but Ms Haken also put it back together.
I love a best friends/second chance tale, and Helen and Hugo is one of the best I have read.
Not just the relationship, but also with the way depression and mental illness is depicted. There is a rawness to Bring Me Home that resonated so much with me. I have suffered depression for many years, and it is hard to describe to someone else what it feels like.
However I feel Ms Haken has done this so well. I think I cried for about 50% of this book, as Hugo was me. So much me at my worst.
And Ms Haken nailed it in just 3 words.... "depression just... was". Anyone who has depression will know just how true this is.
Thank you for giving us a realistic, raw story.
