Man, it has been an age since we have had an Ella Frank m/f story, and at first it felt a little weird at first diving back into that world lol
Noah and Laurel's second chance will have you smiling, ad shaking with anger, and frustrated, but most of all it will have you hoping that they can finally get their HEA.
This is also more than just a second chance romance for our lovelies, this is also a story of repairing broken relationships. There is so much going on behind the scenes of this wonderful story. I don't want to give anything away, but man there are people yo are going to love, and people you are going to absolutely loathe in this series
I loved that there is still so much attraction between our lovelies. It left me with all kinds of heart eyes!
I also get the small town vibe given off. And even tough I hate wine (that stuff is nasty), i love books set in wine country (can anyone say te cheese platters offered at wine tastings??
I am looking forward to more of this series, and hope we don't have to wait too long for the next installment.

Thank you Ms Bocci for a copy of A Vineyard Valentine
I'm like Elo, and so not into the Valentine's schtick.
I liked her and her guy's instant attraction, and how cute they were together
I am not sure how I really feel about this book. While I liked it, there were just a few too many things that just didn't do it for me.
If it was just about the relationship between our MC's Meadow and Axel, it hit the spot, but nope, that's not it.
The story was very readable and it did keep my interest, but it was also quite jumpy. We seemed to jump from one thing to another, left my head spinning a little.
There was just too much of the characters that we didn't get. They have a history, but it is pretty glossed over. They despise each other, but buy? Things seem to hinge on what happened to her murdered father, but we don't really get much about that either. Other than what happens during the story, we don't really find out much about either of them, what has happened to them to bring them to this point. I mean, the books starts with an attempted suicide, but we don't find out much about that either.
There were a few other things that seemed to be rushed over as well. Things happen to both our hero and heroine, quite horrific things, but they seem to go to sleep and wake up and all is good (or as good as they can be) for them.
Then things happen again that should have them seriously screwed up, but blink and it is a HEA.
I absolutely love love loved Ms Jewel's Sinners MC series, but this one just missed the mark for me.
1) Our lovelies are characters who are closer to my age, rather than someone I could have given birth to, and
2) No OTT, stupid drama because ^^ they are adults and act like it!
I fell in love with Rhodes (swoon) and Dee from the get go, and they wormed their way into my heart as they were worming their way into each other's hearts.
This is a book that has left me smiling, days after finishing reading it. Life Changer just was.. sigh. I don't have words for how much I loved it
It is great seeing more of the Chicago first responders from previous books, and I am calling it now, and respectfully request that Ms Harvey gives us a Chicago First Responders: The Next Generation series, and these kids need their stories told!
Thank you , thank you, thank you Miss Sinclair for giving us another beautiful and insightful story about the wonderful women who did so much for Australia and her allies during WW2.
I knew a little about the women working as codebreakers in Australia, but it is definitely something we all need to learn more about
It is shameful that so much of what these amazing women did was hidden from us for so many years, whilst their male counterparts were showered with accolades. Every time I learn another story like this, it makes me so sad, and so mad for these pioneering women.
Ellie is dead set amazing. She is one of those women who paved the road for the women of today - and there were plenty of women out there like her. Strong, fiesty and with a heart of gold that sees the best in everyone, she takes us from WW2 to post war Australia and what it was like for the women who filled all those "manly positions".
We also follow the relationships throughout that period, and your heart will hurt at times as the story unfolds.
This is such a beautifully constructed tale that I did not want to put the book down when it was way past my bedtime on a worknight lol.
Ms Sinclair weaves a heartfelt, interesting and endearing story, and I can't wait to read more of her work in the future.
I usually really like Ms Madden-Mills books, but this one really didn't do it for me. At all.
I've been picking it up and putting it down all weekend, but it was time to call it quits
N.R Walker has again given us a beautiful, funny, sexy story that I just devoured.
I loved the just sex, no name way that our lovelies start their relationship. The connection and sexual tension between the can be cut with a butter knife it is that thick1
I also liked that it was set in my home town of Sydney, so I really could picture the areas it was set, which always increases my enjoyment of the tale.
I fell in love with Michael and Bryson as they fell in love. I liked that there was no over the top drama keeping our lovelies apart -sure, there were some issues, but they dealt with things like adults and talked things out!
I smiled the whole time I was reading Bossy, and I hope we get more lovely, sweet and fun stories like this in the future.

ARC received for an honest review
Annnd now we are back in Shipley-land, an my favourite fictional coffee shop (though I am only here for the baked goods, I hate coffee!)
Haley has had an unrequited love for her sister's ex since forever, and now it is her turn to get all the goodness that is Beck.
But firstly, don't get me started on the sister, Jess (the ex). Ugh, I hate, hate hated her for most of the story, and the way that all this time later, she is still affecting her family and her ex. I wanted to slap her around the head with my Kindle for it. The more we learn, the more I dislike her really. We learn more and my feelings change - slightly - but sheesh.
And really, she is not the only one who frustrated me, but she is the worst of the lot.
I adore both our lovelies, and I hurt for them as the complications of the past come to haunt them in the now.
But I am telling you now, you are gonna love them, even when you heart is hurting for them.
But we get there. We get the smiles and the love and the happy, so I can get over the frustratin parts!
I am really invested in this whole World of True North / Busy Bean series, and I hope we keep getting them for the next 30 years!

Yes! A book that has characters closer to my age than younguns who I could have birthed!
Scarlett really takes the Bull by the horns when it comes to her love live, and boy are their consequences to that!
Our lovelies really do things barse ackwards when it comes to getting together, but I loved how they fought their way to friendship and more. Her life is kinda messed up at the moment and he is her sexy anchor, and the start of her new life.
I adored Scarlett's bestie and Bull's brothers. I need to get more of their stories in my life.
I just love everything about these World of True North installments, and it has been a great way to introduce me to new authors, as this was my first LB Dunbar story - but it won't be my last.
I look forward to returning to the Busy Bean Cafe soon
