Reign: A Romance Anthology
Kally Ash, K.E. Osborn, Addison Jane, J.A. Low, Kat T. Masen, Bec McMaster, Corinne Mazille, Liz Lovelock, Emma James, Evie Mitchell, Nina Levine, Penny Dee, Leesa Bow
Another enjoyable story from a favourite author.
And another strong woman who doesn't rake crap from anyone.
You can't help but adore Kit and Jon, and I found myself was bring more when i finished.
Book 3 of the #MooU series, and I said it after book2, however Holdout was my favourite of the series.
Jonah and Ryann's story was fun from the start. Their forbidden (by others, not themselves) relationship is full of fun and flirty banter, longing looks and sexual tension you could cut with a knife

Just as the new NHL season is ramping up, so is my reading of my hockey hotties.
I loved that this second installment of the Moo U series focuses more on the hockey side of the things, more than that farm side (don't get me wrong, I love all the Vermonty-farmy stuff, but the hockey has my heart
You know that feeling you get when you look through your photo albums, and a picture can take you back to the time and place, bring back all the memories and feelings of that instant?
That is how More Than Everything is told.
We get the story of Charlie (Chase) Rhodes and his loves and losses as he goes through his photos.
Spanning over a couple of decades, Charlies takes us on an emotional ride as we learn about the love and losses in his life. Your heart will go from light and loving to heavy and dark with loss. It is one hell of an
Charlie's narration of the story drew this read right into the scenes with him and the two loves of his lives, Scott and Adan. Grrrr did those two piss me off! Yep, I judged them for what they did to sweet, loving Charlie! I wanted to hug Charlie with one arm, and bitch slap Scott and Adan with the other!
I absolutely adored Charlie, he was comfortable in his own skin, he wouldn't change himself for anyone. He stood by who he was and if people didn't love him for him, so be it.
As I read further and further into the story, my heart broke for Charlie, was pieced back together, only to be ripped out and shattered again.
I was overjoyed when this trio all found each other again, but I was still mad at Scott and Adan for their past deeds. While my heart soared for Charlie that the two men who held his heart were back in the picture, I felt that all their issues were resolved a little to quickly. I wanted Charlie to make them grovel, walk through fire, crawl on glass before he let them back into his life. They deserved to have to earn him and his trust back. But at the end of the day, I was just happy that Charlie was happy.
Cardeno C has a way of bringing all three men's stories together seamlessly. She brought different periods in their lives and different POV's across so well that everything and everyone's stories interweaved beautifully.
These are not the first Cardeno C works I have read, and they definitely won't be the last.

52 books into this series, and I am still loving it as much as book #1.
Then again, is there ever enough of Dallas and Roarke? I say no - especially to Roarke
Add in murder, mystery, cults and this was a true winner for me (I have been watching many documentaries on cults lately, so this fit right in with my interests)
We didn't get so much of my Roarkey this time, however we do get plenty of Eve, Peabody and the whole crew of NYPSD, and Eve's circle of friends
You will be kept on the edge of your lounge as events play out - but would we expect anything less from an In Death book.
And now I am impatiently awaiting book #53

I may have done the "Carlton" when I woke up to find Devil's Kiss on my Kindle - a new Ella Frank m/m is worth of my poor dance skills (sorry for anybody who has seen them)
But firstly - how freaking HOT is this cover??
We met Jordan and Derek in Finley, and knew that there was some history between them.
But holy moly - what history there was!
Right from the first chapter to the last, I was taken on an emotional ride, never knowing where the chapter was going to take me, how Ms Frank was going to make my heart hurt.
Which she did, over and over.
I loved Jordan with his quirky fashion sense, his exuberance, his heart.
And don't get me started on Derek - I tell you what, I wish I was a gay man so I could hunt him down and have my wicked, wicked way with him!
I simply adored Jordan and Derek, from the classroom days to present. You just knew that these two were wonderful for each other - if they could get their timing and their act together!
But for us readers, this gives us a slow burning relationship. We can feel the pull between them. We can see them falling in love over the years.
I also loved seeing Finn and Brantley's relationship through the eyes of their best friends.
Devil's Kiss is an emotional, beautiful love story that I didn't want to end, and I hope for more in the future.
Please don't keep us waiting for more!

OK, I need a Greer Lockhart in my life - tell me ladies, where can I find him?
Breakaway is a very poignant tale. It is mostly light hearted and beautiful, but it also had harder undertones at times, dealing with familial relatioships that are not always the easiest or the best.
And Dallas. oh how I adore this man. It was a wonderful journey as he comes to be the man he has always wanted to be, his internal struggles, and finally his Eureka! moment.
I wanted to devour this book, however I also wanted to take me time and savour every delicious morsel of this story - which I did! And I never do that.
I adored the secondary characters - and Kindle Alexander, I need a story for Ducky. Well, actually I lied, I hated one or two characters and you will too. And we do get to see some people from another KA book along the way
I had a book hangover after reading Breakaway, ad I wish I could read it again for the first time
It took me a while to get into it, but once I got past about 100 pages I was hooked.
I haven't read such an emotional BDB story since Tohr, and I loved it
Cat Johnson had me at SEAL - like she always does.
This one is light on the SEAL action, but we get plenty of the hot SEAL (well, we do get SEAL action, but not much of the NAVAL kind, if you know what I mean!)
I love a fake relationship tale. It is great watching our lovelies come to realise that they have real feelings, while we are all here going well, derrrrrr!
Ms Johnson gives us another sweet and sexy story, and she is one of my very few "they could write the Chinese takeaway menu and I would read it" authors.
Looking forward to more sexy SEAL adventures.

Now, I am not much for ru-ro stories (I did the tree change to the country, and still haven't found one of these hot country guys!), but the blurb of Snowy Mountains Daughter caught me, and I am glad I picked it up, as I really enjoyed it.
Clancy is a little bit of all of us. A little bit of fun, a little bit of tragedy, a little bit lonely, a little (well, a lot) in love.
Heath is the prodigal son returning, and you just know that he is going to stay.
I loved the part with Heath coming home to paint the water tower - we had a very well known artist come and paint our silos a couple of years ago, and it was amazing, driving by each day and watching the progress of the mural, and how it brough the town together).
But, I digress lol.
Dark secrets, long time love and finally a HEA all come together to bring us a lovely tale. I have not read Alissa Callen before, however I will read more in the future.
