paddlefoot55 's review for:
Snowy Mountains Daughter
by Alissa Callen
Copy received from Harlequin for an honest review
Now, I am not much for ru-ro stories (I did the tree change to the country, and still haven't found one of these hot country guys!), but the blurb of Snowy Mountains Daughter caught me, and I am glad I picked it up, as I really enjoyed it.
Clancy is a little bit of all of us. A little bit of fun, a little bit of tragedy, a little bit lonely, a little (well, a lot) in love.
Heath is the prodigal son returning, and you just know that he is going to stay.
I loved the part with Heath coming home to paint the water tower - we had a very well known artist come and paint our silos a couple of years ago, and it was amazing, driving by each day and watching the progress of the mural, and how it brough the town together).
But, I digress lol.
Dark secrets, long time love and finally a HEA all come together to bring us a lovely tale. I have not read Alissa Callen before, however I will read more in the future.
