KU read

This was an enjoyable read, that also gives us a bit of insight into the mind of authors.

Lacey and Jake had sparks flying right from the start, and you just knew that they had to end up together.

The growth in Lacey throughout the tale, from the non-believer to believer made my heart hurt, but also made my heart happy.

I am looking foward to more in this series.

Thank you Evie Mitchell for giving us these little snippets of the lovelies from Capricorn Cove.

I didn't know I needed this, but I did. I loved seeing our lovelies as their relationships have progressed.

I laughed out loud at times, and smiled the rest of the time.

I can't wait for more snippets in the future.

Erin Mallon is my favourite female narrator, and when I saw she was writing a series, I will admit that I wasn't expecting too much for the story.

I was pleasantly surprised (sorry Erin) with how much I adored flirtasaurus.

Great character and story development, fun and flirty writing had me listening with much enjoyment.

And of course wonderful narration.

I am lookung forward to more in this series

Since the Summersweet Island series started, Bodhi and Tess have been a great set of side characters, best friend of Palmer and Birdie.

Now, whilst I like them, to me they might have best stayed as secondary characters, as, and this is just me, Bodhi's stoner childish behaviour and Tess's rampant pyromania were just a little too much, way too full on.

Don't get me wrong, I liked where this story ended up;but by golly for me it was a bit of a struggle to put up with them. And this is nothing to do with the author or book, but all on me. And one thing that I never thought that I would say, but to me Bodhi was the more mature one this time.

It was great getting some of characters from the first 2 books, and I can never say no to a Christmas book.

I look forward to more Sweetwater Island in my future.

Dayum! Casper is all grown up and has some moves!

This was a short listen, with great narrations from Shane East and Stella Hunter.

It gives us a bit of an Outlander kind of vibe, and a Christmas miracle that you won't be expecting.

I really enjoyed listening to this fun story, and look forward to more from the author

*cue the Carrie Bradshaw voice* Hello, Loverboy!

I have been looking forward to Loverboy since I knew it was headed our way.

Because Sarina Bowen could write the Chinese takeaway menu and I would read it.

Loverboy has the perfect balance of sweet and sass, intrigue and pastries. Mmmm pastries!

Gunnar had me laughing, then swooning. He is the latest addition to my book boyfriend collection.

Posy is just adorable, I like how she stands on her own, doesn't rely on others to get on with her life. I love her relationship with her sister and nephew.

What I really like is Gunnar's relationship with Max. They are friendship goals right there.

There are a few twists and turns that kept me on my toes.

I am now a majority share stakeholder in The Company, and need to know what comes next.

Please don't make me wait too long, Ms Bowen.

Charming Co-worker is a sweet, kind of Hallmark cheesy, but utterly adorable tale, one that is just perfect for Christmas

Runow and Colette give us a wonderful tale that will make you smile and light up like a Christmas tree.

It's a tale we have read many times before - kind of gave me a Bridget Jones vibe. Well, with a fake relationship thrown in for fun.

Hunter is just wonderful (plus, that cover, with the shirt sleeves rolled up? Yeah, that is my kryptonite I tell you!)

I love how punny this book is. I love a good pun, and Katie is a master at them. You can't help but smile whenever she is on the page.

Charming Co-worker was the perfect book to get me through this stupid head cold I have (yes, I am a whiney one today hahah).

I can't wait for the next instalment in this series.

From the minute I met Dean Moser in Wait With Me, I have been impatient for his story.

And Ms Daws has not disappointed me with Take A Number.

I seriously loved this book. It is the next day, and I am still smiling about it.

Norah, from her pros and cons list, to the flirtatious Dean, this pair could not be more perfect for each other.  The way they  tease each other, the UST between them, it just made me need them together even more.  They bring out the best in each other, even if they don't really realise they are doing it.

They shouldn't work, but they sure do - even when at times I wanted to bring out my inner Kate and croinut punch Dean. Oy, he really did deserve it I tell you!

The trademark Daws humour shines through (especially when Lynsey and Kate are involved) however I also felt a lot of emotions, and may have shed a couple of tears as I was reading.

From overbearing, matchmaking parents and best friends who think they know what is best, Dean and Norah make their way through the world of fake dating, to maybe, just maybe, find something real

Swoony and sexy and hot and lovely, Take A Number is just wondeful fun  and it made me crave cake the whole time I was reading. You won't need to take a number when this book hits the shelves, just buy a copy and indulge yourself.
