I've been on a bit of a Kerrigan Byrne kick lately, and was very happy to receive an advanced aimudio of Courting Trouble.

I had a love hate with our leading lady Nora. I loved how forward thinking and liberated she was with things, however she would then do something so frustrating that I yelled at my speakers and called her all kinds of names!

Gunter and Perkins are a great Nora and Titus - let me tell you, we all need a Titus in our lives.

I haven't read the first book in the series, so I finished listening, needing to go back and read book one.

I look forward to more from Vyrne in the future

This novella sure packed a heck of a punch.

I was curious about Penny and Scott after seeing them in The Gritty Truth, and I needed more.

The more we got was a lot more emotional than I was expecting, and I enjoyed every heartfelt minute.

I am looking forward to what Ms Foster brings us next

I picked up this book, not quite remembering who Steele was in the mix of things

As soon as I started reading, I was all "oh yeah, that guy. The one trying to win his wife back."

I liked that this was a on a different tack to the other books. Steele and Ella have already found their HEA, now it is the fight to keep it.

I did laugh at the other guys giving advice on how to win her back, however misguided it was at times. I liked seeing the change.

I do feel though, that maybe it is time to retire the Arizona Vengeance guys? Don't get me wrong, I love reading them, love any hockey series, but by book 9 is there really anywhere more that the series can go without the stories getting repetitive? Don't shoot me, Ms Bennett, you could write the menu for the local takeaway restaurant and I would read it, but to me (and this probably just me) they are all starting to feel the same.

Oh wait, but not until I get Bader's story!

Darry Fraser has done it again! The Last Trueheart is another amazing Australian historical to lose yourself in.

Once again, we are drawn into the world of late 19th Century Australia, a man's world, but with strong female characters who are bucking the trend.

Stella has had a rough run of it, but that does not keep her down. When a private investigator tracks her down, her world is thrown upside down.

Bendigo Barrett is the kind of man we all need. He is dashing and loyal and wonderful.

Mystery, intrigue an family dramas abound, and I couldn't wait to turn each page to see what adventure I would be taken on next.

I am looking forward to what Ms Fraser brings us next.

KU read

Gah, I have missed these guys!

I did get the installments in the newsletter, but I couldn't bring myself to read them as they came, as I knew I would be chomping at the bit and annoying the author for more!

I loved getting back in Valentine world. I loved seeing a bit of all the lovelies from the series (hands off my Casey, aright?)

Drama and tension had the adrenaline running through my veins. My heart was still racing after I finished.

Now I need to go back and reread the whole Give Me series - again.

Sweet, low angst, high sugar twist on the virgin and the jock.

Couldn't help but smile from the meet cute to the last word.

Add in a winter wonderland, amazing family and friends and this was the perfect

Back to Mudville - Woot!

We are back with Harper and Stone, our lovelies from the first Mudville tale.

I love going back to see where couples are down the track. We are two years from Kissing Books, and it is wonderful to see them when the flush of first flirtations and love is gone.

Harper is a little bit bonkers in this one, and I love her even more for it. In fact, she drove me a little nuts whilst reading too, but that is the woman we all like her to be.

This is a little bit Christmas, a little bit ridic, but it wouldn't be Mudville if we weren't taking a ride on the crazy train at some stage.

We got to see all the couples and characters from previous books, and my favourite pig can't miss her time to shine!

I love this town and this series, and I hope we get plenty more in the future.

I always say that I can never get enough of Brooke and Ella's couples - and this Christmas anthology gave me just enough from 7 couples to feed my need.

Jingle Bell Rock was a wonderfully delightful tale that he a smile on my dial the whole time I was reading (well, except for the few tears I may have shed. Bah, who am I kidding, I smiled then too!)
I really loved getting more of my Logan - yes Tate, mine. I claimed him while you were dithering around when you first met!
You just need to dive in to this book, and immerse yourself into all the goodness.

Aaaand now I need to go read all these books again.

It's the most magical time of the year - when I can read Christmas stories all day long!

And a Christmas story by N.R Walker just made my day!

I love the cheesy movies where the CEO gets stuck in a small town and falls in love with the single mum.

And whilst Hamish isn't the CEO and Ren isn't a single mum, they are right out of a Hallmark movie - minus the cheese.

I loved Hamish from the minute he has a mini breakdown. Who couldn't adore him?  And Ren, why are there no men like you in my small town?

This is a very insta-everything story, however for me, who is not a real fan of insta-love, it didn't feel that rushed or instant for me.

I love the connection between Hamish and Ren, and the love that Hamish and his family have for each other.

Quick, wonderful Christmas read - just what this girl needed on a 38c stinking hot day! I imagined my air con was snow!
