It's time for another round at Jameson Force Security.
Unfortunately, for me, and unlike the guys who work at JFS, this one didn't hit the mark.
I think for me it was because we knew a bit about Cage and Jaime and the things he had told her already, it felt like the first half of this story dragged. I did have to look at my Kindle a couple of times to make sure I wasn't reading the wrong book, as it was all so familiar. I like a bit of overlap - to remind my bookzheimer's brain - however this time it just made me want to skip ahead in the book to new stuff - sorry Sawyer!
The second half of the book did work better for me though.
I liked Cage and Jaime together, and could feel the heat coming off the pages. But I did get frustrated with the lies and stuff. Come on dude, you knew this was going to be trouble!
As you can see from Bianca's review above, these things didn't bother her, so this is probably just a me thing.
As much as I adore Sawyer Bennett's stories, this one and I weren't the best fit - and I hate writing that.
I can't wait to see what she brings us next though.

Assassin's Mark was my first Ella Sheridan book, and I am now keen to read more of this series.
I am still unsure how I feel about Levi at this stage. Would it be too much for the man to apologise for the crap that he has put Abby through
And why oh why did Abby have to be a virgin on top of everything else? Just no, we're over that trope ok?
I did like the closeness of the Agozi brothers - and I hope that the other brothers find their HEA. I hope that what has happened in this book is leading where I think it is for one particular brother.
Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter brought this tale to life. There is something so smooth about Clarke's voice that I can't help but want to listen to more.
At times, and this is probably just a me thing, Hunter did come across as a lot younger than the character, but it wasn't all the time. This is most likely just my weird mind though!
I do look forward to listening to more of this author, and these narrators in the future.

This book had me laughing at the ridiculousness of events. It was silly and puerile and fun.
However it was also more touching and emotional than I was expecting it to be.
An enjoyable quick Halloween read f 45om two wonderful authors

Boone is a tale full of loss, hope and finding love.
But get your dentist on speed dial as it is so sweet you are going to get a cavity.
I am late to the Eternity Springs series, only having read one other of the books set here, so at times catching up on all the relationships is a lot to take in, but I have liked those I have met. Even if they are all up in everyone else's business.
My heart hurt for Boone and Hannah as their story progressed, however it also makes you smile.
There was one thing though that is brought that seems to have been ... should we say, forgotten? as we come to the close. I need to know what happened there, but it was just glossed over and I still shaking me head ab0ut that.
Overall and enjoyable tale, and I need to get myself back and catch up on the earlier books.
I will read more of the McBrides series in the future

Just three little words: I LOVE IT!!
I tell you now, I thought it would to beat Max Stella, but Will Sumner over took him like a bullet and left him in his wake!
In the previous books, Will has been in the background as the player, the last man standing amongst Bennett, Max and himself. He has scheduled "dates" with numerous ladies, the love 'em and leave 'em kind of arrangement that his always worked.
Until he reconnects with Hanna. Super smart, sexy scientist. She turns his world its head and there is nothing he can - or wants to do about it.
This book has it all! I laughed sooooo hard soooooo much (but not so much I peed my pants - at least not that I am telling you!!)
Hanna is hilarous - her conversations with Will about porn had me in stitches!
And don't get me started on the boobs. Will is a total boob man, and there are some fantastic conversations about and with Hanna's boobs.
The sexual tension between Will and Hanna is so thick you could cut it with a knife. And even when they are not doing the deed, the sexting is hot as hell
Will is just the whole package. Smart, sexy as hell, funny, all tattooed under them business suit, oh and did I mention sexy?
I loved that we got more of Bennett and Chloe, Max and Sara. Their lives intersect so much that the story just wouldn't be complete without their insights into Will's relationships.
We also meet Hanna's family, and while at times I wanted to throttle them for being so in Hanna's face about her life, I was glad they did.
I only read this book a couple of days ago, and it am still in Will Sumner mode. I could go read this again right now and not get bored.
If you haven't read the Beautiful series - why not, and why are you still reading this? Get to it!

After listening to Assassin's Mark, I was glad I could dive right into Assassin's Prey as I needed to know where Levi and Abby's story was going.
I liked this one so much more than the first part. We are a while down the track from the events of the first book, however there is still so much happening that affects our lovelies.
It is full of suspense and WTH moments. I meanreal, WTH moments. I was listening and was absolutely blown away at times.
Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke did this book absolute justice. I felt like I was with them as events unfolded.
I am looking forward to reading/listening to the other brothers stories in the future.

This is a Helena Hunting spin off, so you know what you are going to get, right?
But you know nothing Jon Snow!
See this here?
Thinking
I was going to get a cute college romance with the Pucked: Next
Generation crew, I was shocked and surprised and so not expecting what
we got from the prologue one.

Lavendar and Kodiak had me in an adrenaline haze most the time I as reading. Not a thrill junkie kind of haze either.
Oh
my, the emotions this book evokes in the reader. I was anxious to turn
each page, but also so excited. I needed to know what was going to
happen next, even tough I was terrified what was going to happen next.

Now,
I am not a big reader of NA stories these days (old fart here, I could
be their parent!) however Ms Hunting weaves her magic and these don't
feel like they are college aged people.

I loved seeing the kids of the Pucked / All In couples all grown up There are so may more stories here that I want, no I need to know. I really want Maverick and BJ's stories! Like Pokemon, I gotta get them all!
