I love a cozy mystery, so finding out Ms Reid was starting a cozy series had me all woohoo.
Sigh... it pains me to say that I kinda liked Engagement and Espionage, but it was also kind of meh to me.
I liked the mystery side off things, however wasn't too much fussed with the Cletus and Jenn side of things. I felt that we were back at the start with them, when we have already had their HEA in the Winston Bros series.
However this could just be me, and I am sure there are plenty of others out there who will completely disagree and love everything about this book.
I like it when authors step out of the usual and try something completely different to what they have written before, and will read more of these cozies in the future, even if this was not my favourite book by Ms Reid.

I have been looking forward to Rick's story as this series has progressed.
And whilst I liked it, I didn't like it as much as the previous books.
And I hated that I had to type that.
I liked Rick and Mary's story ARC, however there were things that I didn't like.
I like that there is the thrill in the chase, and the cat and mouse game. But it just seemed to keep on going on, over and over. However, that was the least of my problems
And my problem is going to be mine and won't bother anyone else probably.
I am an athiest, and all the God and church stuff would normally make this a DNF story for me, but I kept going as I was keen to know how their tale would end. I just skipped all the church scenes.
I liked the changes we see in both Rick and Mary I liked seeing the couples from the previous books - I will always want more of that.
Will this stop me reading more from this series or this duo? Not at all. This book was the odd one out for me with this series, as up to here, I had found that I was liking each installment more.
Can't wait to see what Wolf/Howell bring us next.

Now, I feel that you will at least need to have read the previous book Savior before diving into Luca, as this continues Penny from Savior's story.
And holy heck Eden Summers what a story it is.
Penny's previous story was a lot of action had a Bourne-ish feel to it. It had the adrenaline pumping
Now we are with the aftermath, and boy is this installment of the Hunting Her series full of emotion and heartache and hurt. And that is just for me as the reader!
I was curious as to where their story would take us, and I was not disappointed. We are taken on a rollercoaster of a ride, with a few holy heck and WTF moments thrown in there. I didn't want to put my e-reader down as I needed to know what was going to happen next.
I wanted to throw Penny and Luca in a room and lock them in until they got themselves sorted. Though I don't know if that would have been such a good thing either. It took them a while to get into their groove, and I enjoyed being there to watch it, even as they frustrated me.
I loved seeing more of all the guys and gals from the previous books. I need more of Cole and Anissa the most! But I would take more of any or all of them!
Like Britney said, Ms Summers - give me more, give me give me more.

I go on Netgalley, and sometimes wish for a book. For the first time ever, a wish was granted, and it was for Boyfriend Material - the one I really, really wanted.
And I have to say that this is my favourite Alexis Hall book since Ardy Baby's series
First of all, I love the cover. I am really liking the cartoon style covers more than photographs these days.
Luc and Oliver's tale is an adorable story of opposites attracting. They shouldn't work, but they totally do. I came in expecting a lovely rom-com, however I was not expecting the emotions that I felt. So many feels on Luc's part.
There were plenty of laughs and adorably quirky moments. Luc is the awkwardish, weirdish but completely lovely to Oliver's buttoned up, stiff upper lip. They complement each other so, so well.
And there are some secondary character that I insist get a spin off book. Alex and Miffy are so marvelously clueless, that I smiled every single time they were on the page. They made me laugh our loud with the level of dumb - but it is not a stupid level of dumb. Think of Hugo and Alice from The Vicar of Dibley and you have Alex and Miffy.
Boyfriend Material also gave me Bridget Jones' Diary vibes - and I love that movie hard.
I finished and wanted more.

Back to Mudville - and early! Woot!
I have been keen (ha, I'm a poet!) for Boone's story from he start of this series, and Cat Johnson has not disappointed.
This is the second book in a row that has a manny, and I gotta say... me likey!
I adore the small town feel of this series. I live in a small town, so I completely get the lack of privacy and the gossipy nature of the book. You can't sneeze in my town without someone 2 streets over saying bless you, so I get Sarah reluctance to do things with Boone in public.
And my oh my, how freaking wonderful and adorable is Boone. I love his always happy go lucky attitude, and love love love the way he goes all in for Sarah from the start.
Not going to lie, every time I read Stewie, I did think of Stewie from family guy hahaha
And I also thought throughout the story that something might happen with Stewie's mum - am glad it didn't.
I can't get enough of the couples we have previously met, and I wouldn't say no to more of them in the future.
Please Ms Johnson, make it happen!

Awww these boys! So, so cute.
I have been looking forward to coming to Talbert Hall Quinn Ward has not disappointed.
We have been slowly getting more into the Daddy/Little world as we have been reading more Quinn Ward. And this time we go deep, deep into the world of littles.
Chase and jayden are both adorable. They are both exploring the world and bringing out the boy/daddy in each other.
We got to see some characters from previous books, and if you have read others, you will remember Jayden's uncle William. I loved the part he played in Jayden/Chase's world.
There was wonderful character development, plenty of emotions and lots of smiles. I look forward to getting back to Talbert Hall.

This is the final in the Wicked Horse Vegas series, and sigh, it pains me to say this, but Wicked Billionaire really didn' do it for me. And I have never, ever said that about a Sawyer Bennett book.
I liked the first say, 25-30%. Our leading lady Bailey was strong and feisty, and the snark between her and Declan was off the charts steamy. And then.... it wasn't
From there on it was just a whole lot of not much to me. I am sure this is mostly a me thing, and that everyone else will love it. It just didn't keep my attention, and it took me days to finish it, and again, I am never like this with a Saywer book.
One thing I did love, compared to other books I have read recently that are based around a sex club. It wasn't just the sex club. The sex club was just a small part of their story.
I just didn't feel any connection between Bailey and Declan. I felt that there was something keeping them at arms length right through the story. Again, this is probably just me.
I am sad to see the end of the Wicked Horse series, but I am looking forward to what Ms Bennett brings us next.

2.5 stars.
I got thos book in a goodie bag at a signing a couple of years ago and finally pulled it out to read.
It really didn't do much for me. Tbe virginity for business deal, no matter what Kase's intentions were felt skeezy.
Both Kase and June were one dimentional and there was little character development, and the story was one note, and I endedup skimming the second half of the book.
I see thst I am in the minority about this book, so it is what a lot of people want to read

Fore! Tara Sivec is back with a story told about a sport I never thought would be interestingt to read (even when I used to play it!) - golf!
Throw in best friend, friends to lovers, small town tale.
I was laughing at Palmer/Pal from the first meltdown. Yeah, I felt sorry for him, but was still funny AF.
Birdie snarky and sweet and has a heart of gold. And the weak spot for Palmer is huge. There is a love/hate relationship between our lovelies that brings out the worst in both of them. And leads to so much sexual tension, you will feel it from your reader.
The thing that bugged me, and it bugs me in all the stories that have it - communicate, people! Sheesh you're adults, right?
I love, love, loved Palmer's best friend Bodhi. He made me laugh out loud so many times.
We are set up for the next book in this one, and I can' wait to see where Ms Sivec takes us with it.

I was intrigued by the premise of this story, and whilst there were parts that I really enjoyed, by the end I was just " finally is over".
I was quite over the travel dramas at every turn. It ended up feeling like the world's longest road trip.
I liked Ramona putting herself or there and the adventure she embarks on.
However as each new destination was reached, I was all "oh god, what will happen here?", But not in an excited way.
I felt that this book could have been cut down a lot, and have at least a few times what nothing went wrong.
I found myself putting this book aside a few times, and was tempted not too finish it more than once. I am glad i persevered though.
