I rarely read YA/NA stories these days - a such an old fart, and it can make it hard for me to connect with the characters.


However, I was obsessed with Dear Ava from the minute I picked it up.

Oh my goodness, what a story!

Ms Madden-Mills completely decimated my heart in the first chapter, and boy oh boy, I couldn't wait to turn each page.

Ava is strong. she is fierce. She won't take anybody's crap and does not hesitate to stand up for herself.

I am not of a fan of the spoiled rich kids - in my stories or in real life. These Sharks, for the most part, are unlikable.

But then there is Knox, and he is

This is the third in the Underdogs series, however they can be read as standalones.

This is Lance and Harper's story. Worlds that should not really collide do, and the results are explosive.

Separately, I adore both Lance and Harper. Together, sparks sure do fly. The snark between them is next level, and you know it is just full on foreplay.

As much as I wanted them to be together though, for so much of this book I could see how toxic they are for each other, and I was undecided if I wanted them to actually be together

I have been looking forward to this story since I first heart it was happening. A favourite author and a favourite narrator collaborating to write a story - let me at it!

Heidi's crush her neighbour is just the cutest thing. I was laughing so hard as I was listening as she floundered around him. Whilst she is no virgin, she just doesn't have that knack of talking to guys she likes. And don't get me started on her blushing at the tamest of dirty words.

The authors and the narration are great at bringing out her quirky nature. I loved the way she comes out of her shell, with the help of her podcast and her new friends.

Now, all I know about the Minnesota accent is what I have heard in movies set in the area, so going by that, Andi Arndt nailed it. She brings Heidi to life and I didn't want to stop listening.

Sivec and Arndt need to write more stories together. Not matter which way you devour this book, you are going to love it.

Grease has been one of my favourite movies as a kid.

M/M romance is now one of my favourite tropes to read.

Thrown together in Only Mostly Devastated, and I devoured this book.

Now, I rarely read YA books anymore - I am an old fart, it gets hard to relate to highshoolers - however that didn't matter with this book, as I enjoyed the story too much.

The girls are a cross between the Pink Ladies and Mean Girls, the guys are no so much T-Birds as a sports gang lol

I adore Ollie from the very start. He is sweet and a beautiful soul. Will took a bit more warming up to, however he got there eventually.

I fell in love with our lovelies as they fell in love with each other.

One thing though, I did feel like there was a bit too much telling and not enough showing of the romance between Will and Ollie - however that could just be me.

Sweet, adorable story that made my lunch breaks even better.

I wasn't expecting Best Man to turn up on my Kindle, however I dived right in when I saw it.

Now, I have adored all the Katy Evans, this one - not so much.

We can tell right from the get go that the fiance is a douchenugget - which is fine, he is what he is.

I adored Miles - the best man - right away. You get the feels right away that he is not what he is made out to be.

However, my problem in this story is our leading lady Lia.

Oy, what a doormat! I get you love the guy, however why, why, why do you let him treat you the way he does? Why go back? Heck, even as things evolve in the time of this story, you know but what, you don't care? Don't give AF? I really don't understand you at all.

It made you really unlikable, and if it wasn't for Miles, I think I would have given up on this one - sorry Ms Evans.

If you can get over Lia's lack of backbone, you will probably enjoy this more than me.

I have been reading Catherine Bybee books for many years now, and I can remember a few years back, her stories/posts on social media about the fires and then the rains that hit her property.

This is also a reminder to me of what so many are going through here in Australia at the moment.

As I was reading My Way To You, I was remembering some of those stories. I remember thinking at the time everything was happening to her, how strong Ms Bybee was.

That strength carried through to Parker in this story. Sometimes she came across as a woman twice her age. Sometimes it felt a little OTT, then again the situation was OTT.

I adore Colin right from the get go. He could have been a pompous ar$e and treat Parker like she knows nothing, but he doesn't.

The relationship between Parker and Colin is sweet and tender and... easy. No stupid arguments, no miscommunications, it just... was.

This is book one in the series, and I look forward to seeing where it takes us next.
