I was given a copy of Blind Attraction to read months ago, but I have only just read it, and am kicking myself for taking so long to pick it up!
Ask anybody - I am a sucker for a rockstar book, and this one was no exception.
Blind Attraction is a sweet rocker romance that has a bit of substance.
27 year old Alana Shelton (YES!! Someone who is not in high school or college for a change!!!) has led a very sheltered life, never had much interaction with people in general but more specifically men.
Dragged to a concert by her best friend, her eyes connect across the room - or concert venue as it may be - with Reckless Beat guitarist Mitchell Davies.
There is instant attraction, he asks her to meet him after the concert - which brings a whole other set of calamities with it, causing Alana and Mitchell to spend more time together than first thought.
Alana is a mix up of sheltered but ready to spread her wings, goes from pretty much virginal to ride me cowboy in the blink of an eye, wary but willing to trust. She is pretty strong, and her outlook on life changes as she realises all the things she has always been told are not as they seem.
Mitch is a nurturer, just wants to look after and out for Alana, even knowing that things can't go very far with them as his life as a rockstar is not a life for relationships.
I liked the secondary characters - especially Mitch's best friend and band member Blake. There is just no filter from his brain to his mouth, and he likes to stick his nose in where it doesn't belong. Definitely want to read more about him.
Blind Attraction is a fast paced - especially Mitch and Alana's relationship, fun read, and a fantastic way to fill in a few hours.
I look forward to reading more of Eden Summers' work, and looking forward to reading book 2, Passionate Addiction - Blake's story woohoo - when it is released in a couple of month's time!

I never read this when it was first release, and I am pretty new to Nic Starr's works, so it was nice to dive in fresh.
Sam is just too darn cute. I loved him from the minute he walked in to see his Aunt Polly. I just wanted to hug him and squeeze him and call him George.
I liked that Rob was going incognito, getting to know Sam, and Sam getting to know him as Rob, not as a public figure.
There is no much heat in this story, which I was expecting. I feel that this would be a good m/m book for the YA set.
There were lots of secondary characters (maybe a few too many and I was getting confuzzled) but there is great set up for the next book in the series.
Quick, enjoyable read, I look forward to the next book.

Gah, it has been ages since I have dived into an Ainslie Paton book. I always say that her books are like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.
And this is again completely different style of story for Ms Paton - a contemporary romance! So not what I expect from her.
And I adored it. It is sweet and sexy and cute and adorable and I want a Haydn all of my own!
Very cute everyday-girl-meets-movie-star story. I love, love, love that the Australian-ness comes through in Ms Paton's stories (can anyone say "rooting" hahah) and think it is great that she doesn't try to make her stories all Americanised. We Aussies have our quirks, and I for one like to see that quirky flag fly!
I love Haydn and Teela's best friends. Evie is the bomb dot com and I am looking forward to reading her book soon.

I really enjoyed The Guy On The Right, and thought I better get The Guy On The Left read before The Guy In The Middle comes out.
Oy, what happened in this one? I nearly DNF'd this one, because the leading lady Clarissa is so darn unlikable.
Troy is everything, wants to be everything for his son, and still loves her - though I don't know why. Most of the time I was yelling at my kindle for Troy to run far from her, and run fast.
She is such a hypocrite, condemns him for YEARS about one lie, and she hs a bazillion times worse. I wanted to punt her from one side of town to the other. How she thinks she has the moral high ground is beyond me.
The last say 15% she was better, but for the rest of the book, she is a horrible human being.
The highlight of the book is Dante, and if he doesn't melt the hardest of hearts, well there is something is wrong with you.
I am looking forward to Lance's book, and hope this one is an anomoly.

KM Golland, this book absolutely blew me away.
A wonderful story of first love, first heartbreak and finding a way back to each other over distance and time.
Connor and Eloise - "Ellie" had me drawn into their story from the very first word to the last last. Though I may have been reading those last words through leaking eyes!
Every turn of the page had me filled with another emotion. I laughed. I loved. I hurt.
There were twists and turns throughout the book that had me - and my emotions - all over the place. There were definitely a few WTF moments! Ms Golland would rip my heart out, put it back together- only to do it all again.
Make sure you have alcohol and tissues handy throughout!
Beautiful, heartbreaking, loving. There are not enough words to describe how much I loved this book.
Buy it. Read it. Love it.

I have been impatiently awaiting this book from the second I finished Hated You Then - which you definitely need to read before diving in here.
This enemies-to-lovers-turns-to-crap-to more story is full of angst and drama and emotion.
Now, I do gotta say, I know Jackson is supposed to be the bad guy in all this, and yeah, he was at the end of Hated You then, however I am surprised to say that I really didn't like Harley for most of this story. She was bratty and stubborn and down right mean to Jackson at times - that girl can hold a grudge better than me, and I excel at it hahah.
I was flip flopping between loving and loathing both our lovelies as I was reading, and then, OMG
PLOT TWIST
Cheezels, Mary and Joseph - I really, and i mean really did not see that happening. It made me see a few characters in a new light - especially Jackson!
Well played Ms Robinson, well played.
As with all M. Robinson books, Love You Now is full of emotions. I shed a few tears as I was reading. I got angry ,I got sad, I got frustrated. And I enjoyed every moment of it.
There is great set up for the next books, and I for one cannot wait for it!

Again, I somehow missed this one when I was reading the original Beautiful series.
Now, I didn't like Marcus - at all - when I was reading Melody. He was rude, crude, childish and arrogant. His temper tantrums just made me want to slap him with my Kindle.
I was wondering if he had any redeeming qualities at all.
I should not have wondered, I knew Ms Anderson would change my opinion of him.
Yes, he was still pushy and arrogant, until he met the right woman.
Lisa - wow, I love this woman. I loved that she didn't fall to her knees for Marcus. She didn't drop her knickers when he crooked his finger. I liked that it made Marcus show a bit of humility.
Her story was a bit of a surprise to me too, and rounded out their relationshlp well.
There is great set up for the next book. Star, and I can't wait to dive in.

I loved Evie in Teela's book, One Night With the Sexiest Man Alive, and love her even more in One Kiss From The King Of Rock.
I mean, rock stars are my weakness! Mention in the title or the blurb and BAM, I need that sucker!
I adored Evie and Jay's second-chance story. That's another trope that I am a fan of.
Secrets, mistruths, betrayals - and none of them the fault of our lovelies. Gah, I wanted to throat punch people as I was reading. I knew that things were going to work out, but that doesn't mean I don't get to hate people along the way hahah
I love love love the Aussie-ness of Ms Paton's stories. I love stories set in my home city of Sydney. And love even more when she refers places/places are inspired by places I lived my misspent youth (I'm pointing to you, Fiddler!)
One Kiss From The King of Rock is a fun, flirty and sexy read. I am not impatiently awaiting for the next installment.
