The Guy on the Left
by Kate Stewart
I really enjoyed The Guy On The Right, and thought I better get The Guy On The Left read before The Guy In The Middle comes out.
Oy, what happened in this one? I nearly DNF'd this one, because the leading lady Clarissa is so darn unlikable.
Troy is everything, wants to be everything for his son, and still loves her - though I don't know why. Most of the time I was yelling at my kindle for Troy to run far from her, and run fast.
She is such a hypocrite, condemns him for YEARS about one lie, and she hs a bazillion times worse. I wanted to punt her from one side of town to the other. How she thinks she has the moral high ground is beyond me.
The last say 15% she was better, but for the rest of the book, she is a horrible human being.
The highlight of the book is Dante, and if he doesn't melt the hardest of hearts, well there is something is wrong with you.
I am looking forward to Lance's book, and hope this one is an anomoly.
