Now, we have all read the stories of a woman trying to get her man back, and her friends all helping, right?

Well, this refreshing story from Lyssa Kay Adams is a wonderful role reversal with our guy Gavin desperately trying to win back his woman, with the help of his fellow male friends - and romance books.

Add the fact that they are married with children, it just added a whole other layer to their story.

We are so used to the perfect sports stars with the perfect everything, it endeared me more to Gavin that he has a stutter. When I thought I couldn't adore him anymore, I learned that and realised I could!

Thea - man at times I just wanted to tell her to wake up and smell the roses and stop chastising Gavin for past mistakes, and see the man who is front of her. I got frustrated at her that she blamed Gavin for everything, when she had been hiding behind fake for so long and never said anything to him.

Oh, and please, do NOT get me started on her sister Liv. I wanted to jump into the book and tell her "why are you still here? Just be quiet for goodness sake". However, I am looking forward to her story in the next book, and I hope I will like her more.

Gavin's teammates were funny, wonderful men. They made me laugh, they made me sigh. It was great to see their take on things from the books they are reading to how they are relevant today.

I just really enjoyed The Bromance Book Club, and look forward to more.

It's been a while since I read a JEM story. And I loved getting back into her worlds with Leave Me Breathless.

I jumped into this one completely blind - didn't even realise it was kind of connected to The Protector until I saw Jake and Cami's name written.

And I ended up completely and utterly adoring this story.

I was expecting a romantic suspense kind of story. And whilst we did have some suspensey and unknowns happening, it wasn't the main deal with our lovelies Ryan and Hannah.

Ryan is all kinds of

2.5 stars

I love the movie How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days, so I was looking forward to this one.

However, Not The Girl You Marry and I were not a good fit. I nearly DNF'd it a few times, but I persisted with it as it had something that made me keep going.

It really was just retelling the movie with different character names. All that was missing was Jack and Hannah singing "You're so Vain" at the end of the book. It needed more originality to really work.

I am sure plenty of others will enjoy this book, but it was a miss for me.

There are only two authors who write the MC genre that I am still keen to read - and Chantal Fernando is one of them.

Izzy and Renny's story is all the cliches - the "boy" next door, the drunken Vegas wedding yada yada yada - however from the blurb we knew it was going to be a little bit that way.

And I completely adored it.

You probably should read the first book, Saint, before diving into Renegade. There is just too much going on in the background and you will miss things if you haven't read the first one.

Now, this girl here really wouldn't mind waking up married to Renny. He is more teddy bear than biker most of the the time -though there are plenty of times when he P'd off not just Izzy but me too.

The one thing I was missing in this story was that extra oomph and biker bad that Saint and other Chantal Fernando stories have had in the past.

I read this book in one evening, and I look forward to more from Ms Fernando in the future.

Firstly - I love the cover. I don't usually even bother with the covers, however I love this duos covers.

It seems like forever since we have had a Vi/Pen collaborations, and I went into Dirty Letters blind. I know that I am going to enjoy their stories, so I don't have to know what it is about!

Luca and Griffin's story is kind of a second chance story - though can you have a second chance if you were never together to begin with?

I have really been enjoying historical Australian stories this past year. The chance to read my first Darry Fraser story was a no brainer for me - let me have it.

Now, as a teen in the 80s, I was completely in love with John Waters in All The Rivers Run, and The Good Woman of Renmark have me all of those kind of vibes.

It gives us a good glimpse of the social history of the time. Women did not yet have the vote, the suffragette movement growing every day. The Mighty Murray (which isn't so mighty in these days of drought) could be your friend or your foe. It was hard work but could have great reward.

Our leading lady Maggie is all the things that were changing at the time. She wouldn't let men take advantage of her or her friends. She was resourceful. To me she felt like a trailblazer, ahead of her time, not needing a man to have a fulfilling life.

The story is fast paced and flowed well. I absolutely adored the imagery, and could imagine myself on the banks of the Murray, watching the world glide by.

I have not read any of Ms Fraser's previous works, however I will look out for more in the future.

Yesssss!! We are back in Sarelle world! I love it when a book is so secret, you don't know it is coming until it turns up on your Kindle!

This book may be called Top Secret, but it is no secret how much I love Sarina and Elle's work. I love them writing on their own, however when they write together, and it is a m/m book?

Woot! Another Sawyer Bennett hockey hottie to add to my collection!

This book right here is the one I have been waiting for since the start of the Arizona Vengeance series. Tacker Hall stole my heart back in Bishop, and I have been impatiently awaiting his book since.

With what we have learned of him so far, I was expecting this book to completely rip my heart out and have it stomped on.

I was wonderfully surprised that this wasn't the case. Sure, this book is heavy on the emotions, however we were not lead down the ugly cry road. My heart was heavy, sure, I shed a few tears, however this story was filled with so much hope and lightness that I found myself smiling a lot too.

Nora is just adorable. I couldn't help but like her from the first time we meet her. Sparky and sassy and funny, but with her own demons to tackle.

I did keep waiting for the OMG big thing moment, however we didn't get one of those. Tacker isn't that kind of man anyway so it makes sense not to get one.

I so, so loved when Dominik was in this story. I cannot wait for his story - Dax is going to lose his mind!

Please don't make me wait too long for more.

** Read as the re-release under the Evie Snow banner **

What an enjoyable way to spend a few hours was Fly In Fly Out.

Childhood traumas, long distance relationships, finding a way back to trusting again - Stephen and Jo's story has a bit of it all.

I enjoyed the banter between all the characters. I laughed out loud at times, I screamed in frustration at others.

I loved watching Jo and Stephen come together through all their turmoils, the struggles with maintaining a long distance relationship. I got annoyed at times with Jo keeping her secrets when all people want to do is help her. I could understand why, but it still didn't stop my being annoyed lol.

I loved the Australian setting, though I haven't been to that side of my country yet! I will get there one day!

A good, enjoyable read.

That's it - I am moving to Vermont and making cider with a sexy gruff farmer!

First things first.... I am moving to Vermont to find a sexy, gruff farmer to make him my own! Kind of a like Farmer Wants A Wife, but I am going on the hunt instead of the farmer!!

When I first saw the cover,I thought this was going to be some kind of shifter/paranormal book (which I am reaaaaallly picky about reading) but as soon as I read the synopsis, I knew it wasn't and had to read.

And what a great, fun, sweet and sexy story Bittersweet is!

I ador Griff and Audrey! He is all grumpy and gruff and she is just a ball of sunshine - and they are just perfect for each other! His bitter and her sweet come together beautifully.

There really was nothing that I did not like about this book. I have read a few of Ms Bowen's previous books, and I know that I am going to get a book that is un-put-downable!

There is a heap of sass and wit in this story, not just beween Grouchy Griff and Audrey, but also among his family and workers. I was always giggling about something they said or were doing.

I devoured Bittersweet and these sexy farmers, and can't wait for the next in the series

Thankfully that should not be too far down the track!
