Married At First Sight meets The Amazing Race.

You do not need to have read the first book, Million Dollar Devil, to read Million Dollar Marriage - some characters do overlap, but the stories are stand along.

I enjoyed this story so much more than I did the first book. Yes, it was pretty predictable, however Luke made the story for me. Nell was - well, I gotta say I was not the biggest fan of Nell. For someone so smart, OMG she was such a dumba$$ and I wanted to scream at her to wake up to herself!

I am surprised Luke didn't just leave her at one of their "pitstops" - I mean, the money couldn't have been worth all of her annoyingness.

I did feel for her a little at the end of the story though, which surprised me.

I am not a fan of so called "reality TV" and this still has not endeared it to me at all - I know it is fiction, but we know all this stuff they do behind the scenes is all scripted and manipulated.

This was a fun romp through America with some laugh out loud moments, along with some sad and frustrating moments.

This is my first Kerrigan Byrne read - I know, I know, I have been living under a rock - and now I am kicking myself that I have not had her stories on my radar before now!

I am on a historical romance kick lately, and How To Love A Duke In Ten Days is definitely a great one to add to my collection.

I loved that our main characters are flawed, and even though they are marrying for completely altruistic reasons, and that it may well be a loveless marriage, that there will be affection of some sort between them.

All is not easy in their lives, and as the story progresses there is a whodunnit that left me guessing right up to the reveal the whos, the whys and the WTFs!

I love, love, love Alexandra's friends Cecilia and Francesca - collectively known as the Red Rogues, and man, I can not wait to learn more of their stories.

I will definitely be going back through Ms Byrne's back catalogue and finding some more great reads.

Not going to lie - I forgot most of what happened in the first book until I started reading Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy. That's nothing to do with the book though, that's all to do with my terrible bookzheimers.

I was really looking forward to Ty and Hannah's story, I mean cowboys, amnesia, secret babies, it should have really been a hit for me.

Unfortunately it fell flat for me. And I think mostly it was because of our leading lady Hannah. OMG, the number of times I yelled at my Kindle about her as I was reading. I kept yelling "just freaking tell him" so many times. Ugh, I could kind of understand her thinking, but gees how wrong could she be at times.

Ty was an ar$e, but also completely understandable in the circumstances, so I guess he is more forgivable lol

This story also felt a bit all over the place, a bit jumpy. But this could also just be me.

I did like getting back to the ranch, getting to see where Gray and Abby were in their lives, and now I need to meet the woman (or man) who brings Brady to his knees.

I enjoyed Sophie Green's first book, so it was a treat to receive an early copy of The Shelly Bay Ladies Swimming Circle.

Stories with an ensemble cast can go one of two ways from me - it can be well written and I thoroughly enjoy meeting all the characters, or it can be train wreck.

Thankfully, this book was the first, and I have enjoyed reading each day in my lunch break.

As an adult, I know how hard it can be to make new friends - I mean, who doesn't have friends that I have known for 30 years, but the thought of making a new friend makes me break out in hives!

Marie, Theresa, Elaine and Leeane, all at different ages and stages of their lives. meeting and becoming great friends , each having a different kind of relationship with the surf they swim in every morning (I couldn't be in this swimming circle, what if Jaws got me!).

I loved how each of our lovely ladies stories progressed. Their tales were told lovingly, and you can't help be adore each and every one of them. Love, loss, personal growth - there is a bit of it all in this story.

Sophie Green writes with a loving style that had me right back in the 80s with this awesome foursome.

I can't wait to see what Ms Green brings us next.

After this book sitting on my shelves for about 18 months, I thought I would finally join the bandwagon, as everyone has been raving about it forever.

Welp, this one really didn't do it for me. I liked the way the book started, however then it just got meh for me.

I mostly liked Hayes - though at times he came across as clingy and unbearable.

However Solene - yeah, nope. Not a fan of her at all. The way she always left her young daughter at home to romp around the world with her daughter's idol. The way she consistently lied to her daughter. I don't know, I just couldn't get to like her at all.

Everyone else seems to be have been gutted by this book - I was warned repeatedly that I would need tissues and alcohol to get through it, however except for the last couple of scenes, I was quite apathetic about this whole story.

I know I am in the minority here with this, and everyone else loved this story, however it just didn't do it for me.

Firstly, I am in love with this cover and all its John Wick-ishness. Every time I have seen it over the past few weeks I have had to stop and have another look.

I am also a fan of when an author steps out of their usual zone and tries something different.

Kylie Scott has ramped up the adrenaline with Lies.

And oh my, how this story is full of lies upon lies upon lies!

Thom and Betty's story is on the go right from the first chapter to the last. You don't get time to catch your breath as our lovelies go from one Jason Bournesque adventure to the next. You never know what is going to happen next and who the bad guys are going to be - and I loved it!

I liked how Betty, when learning everything that has been happening, doesn't act like a petty little teenager. Sure, she is p!ssed, sure she has every right t be, however i liked that she saw the big picture and acted accordingly.

There are some great secondary characters that I neeeeeeed to know more of - and some that got their just desserts.

I hope we get more stories like this from Ms Scott like this in the future.

Firstly, I love the purple on the cover - it catches my eye every time I see it.

Wow! This story has bit of everything. A lot of sexy, a bit of suspensish, a little tense and a lotta sexual attention.

Ryker and Vaughn's story (wait, don't be like me and at first as I was reading think this was a M/M story - our lovely lady is Vaughn!) is one of games, of power plays, and of falling.

I loved the push/pull between our lovelies - it is bite and snark and all kinds of phone calls and hanging up and waiting to see who would cave first.

The thing though was that the steam was not really there for me. Sure, there was attraction by the boatload, but the sizzle factor wasn't up there. This is probably a me thing though and nothing to do with the book.

Yes, we were cliffhangered, however as soon as I saw it was part 1 I knew that was going to be so it didn't bother me. The thing that happens at the cliffy I could see happening a mile away, so I was like "guys, come on now you're better than this" - though I am looking forward to seeing how it all plays out in the second book.

I had somehow missed this book when it was originally released at A Beautiful Melody, so it was good going in with fresh eyes.

I have to say, at each and every turn in this story I was frustrated with at least one of our main character, brothers Marcus and Theo, and our leading lady Naomi (whom you would have met if you have read book 2, Forever).

Oy, these boys. I am so conflicted. I 95% of the time dislike Marcus, but then there is that 5% where he is all swoony. But man, is he an arrogant ar$e most of the time. I could get the bad boy attraction that Naomi had, then he would something that made me all "screw you, sunshine!"

Then Theo runs so hot and cold, and I am not sure if I like him or not at times. Though I am #TeamTheo most of the book.

My heart hurts for Naomi as she is stuck in the middle of this tug of war between Marcus and Theo - no, there is no cheating, in case you were wondering! - and I wanted to walk out of the situation on her behalf, flicking them both the bird as I left hahah

I am really liking the reread of this rereleased series, and now am looking forward to Rock hitting my kindle soon.

This was my first Adele Parks read, and I will be reading more in the future.

Lies Lies Lies starts out as quite a simple, light, straight forward story, however we are soon sent on a ride full of twists and turns and WTF moments.

Daisy and Simon's marriage has been on a downward slide for a while, and just when you think you know what has been going on - BAM - we are thrown in another direction.

And there was one real turn that I certainly was not expecting!

There are great friendships (though at times her friends were a little OTT) but they a true friends - even when you don't think they are.

I was completely engrossed in this story. I read it over a week during my lunch breaks, groaning each day as my alarm reminded me to go back to work.

I am now looking forward to what Ms Parks brings us in the future, and I will go back and read more of her catalogue in the meantime.
