I have strayed away from PRN kinds of books for a while now, however I have liked the earlier series I have read by Ms Dawn, so it was great to come back to the fold with the start of the Trixie Towers series.

Now, I will say that it took me a while to get my head around who everyone is in this one, however that is to be expected when the set up for an entire series is contained in the first book.

We have elves, shifters, merfolk and all manner or mystical creatures here, all joining forces to save their worlds.

Trixie is the heir apparent and really gets thrown into the deep end here. Boy does she have some adventures.

I will say that I did take a while to get into this one. It didn't grab me immediately, and I did put it down and pick it up a few times before I stuck right through to the end.

I did have a couple of things that irked me, that probably won't worry any one else.

Trixie - she's supposed to be 30 for most of the book, however at times she came across as a teenager - though I guess when everyone else is hundreds or thousands of years old that is to be expected. And the other things was 'Fae' thrown in everywhere. It just seemed to interrupt the sentence flow and it really did start to irritate me - sorry Scarlett!

Whilst it did take me to the second half of the book to really get into it, once I did I found it was over before I wanted it to be, and now I am keen for more of the series to come.

I am a bit of a sucker for a story with a Sheriff - must me something to do with the handcuffs lol.

Throw in a feisty woman who is a great big pain in his ar$e, and you got me drawn right in.

This is the first full length story in the Loveless, Texas series, and what a great start to this new series.

I both loved and hated our leading man Case at times. What a judgemental, prig of a man he was at times. I could understand his frustration at Aspen, but man the way he went about things, I wanted to throw my kindle at his head for being an asshat hahah

So much is going on in Aspen's life, and I just wanted time for her to breathe! I was exhausted just reading about it.

There's a bit of a whodunnit through this story, and I was surprised when I found out what was going on.

I am looking forward to more of the Loveless, Texas series.

I still haven't read the first book in this series, however I did read the second book, The Proposal a while back.

I will say, I liked this book better than The Proposal.

I like Theo and Maddie right from the start, and I did like the snark between them, , though I think calling it an enemies is a bit of a stretch. They don't really know each other, and they say they hate each other, but it is not really that at all. But this could just be me.

You can't deny the attraction between them though. Spark fly, and clothes fly off whenever they are alone together.

I did roll my eyes a bit at them keeping things a secret - dudes, you are both best friends with the same person, they are going to know what it going on.

The pacing was a little off at times as well, it slowed right down in the middle with them doing the same ol same ol, then bam the end was really fast. We didn't really get to see the romance develop between our lovelies.

However, I am invested enough to keep going with the series, and I have the next book ready and waiting on my Kindle thanks to Berkeley and Netgalley!

Move over Harris' boys (not my Clarke man though) because there is another football star headed our way, and he is sure going to give you a run for your money!

We have quickly met sexy Roan DeWalt in the Surrender/Dominate books, and boy oh boy was I excited when this pretty arrived on my Kindle.

Is pretty the right word? No, actually I think #sexyarmporn is the word I was looking for hahahq!

I was sad when the Harris brothers series came to an end - I mean, really, how was I ever going to get more of My Hayden (who isn't a Harris btw but a Clarke!).

Then Ms Daws announced this spin off series, which has just enough of the Harris brothers, but now widening the scope and having a Harris cousin!

I didn't read the original short story that had our sexy South African and Allie Harris - however that does not matter, as it is all covered in this story.

Oh how does that Roan make me swoon! Seriously swoon. I don't want to give anything away. however this man, from the minute I met him was just everything.

I loved seeing the personal growth in Allie as the story progresses. She was so down on herself and her family at first, but watching her grow to realise that it is not her, it is them that are the ones not worthy made me smile.

I also love love loved seeing the man that Vaughn Harris has become since the beginning of the Harris Brothers series, and in particular Surrender/Dominate.

Sigh, I was in a quandry with this book. I wanted to devour it, needing to know what would happen next, however I wanted to savour it, as I love all of Amy Daws' words.

Now I just hope she doesn't keep me waiting for ever for more words. Is it time for Sedate With Me yet??

So, you know how I thought Heartache and Hope was the bomb?

Pish, man it was nothing compared to First and Forever.

I mean. good lawd this book is a-freaking-mazing. Jay McLean has knocked it right out of the park, scored a three pointer right on the buzzer, got the puck int he five hole and every other sports analogy for something great you can think of

You will need tissues, vodka and chocolate - oh so much of all of these to get through this book. Not going to lie, I cried through so much of this book. Ava, Connor and their families just broke my heart.

I am sure Ms McLean was sitting at home like this as we were reading

My heart was trampled and put back together more than once during this book.

I was glad to see that the jerk wad Peter got his comeuppance in this book too. I knew there was something I didn't like about him right from the start of the first book.

I don't want to give anything away with this book, as this one needs to be savoured whilst going in a little blind.

Connor and Ava - you made this old duck cry - and that doesn't happen much with YA/NA books. My oh my, the emotions this book stirred. I felt like I just needed to fold up in the foetal position and cry it out after I finished reading.

Instead I ate too much junk food lol

There are no words to describe how much I loved this book.

So buy it. Read it. Love it.

YES! The next book in the Stay series is here - and it is my favourite in the series so far.

I have been waiting for Harper's story as I have read the first two books in the series, and Ms Probst has definitely not disappointed with All Roads Lead To You.

I have adored the time I have spent at the B & B and farm so far, and this time we get to spend a lot more time with Harper out in the barns. And oh my, if you thought Hei Hei was great in the previous books, you are going to love the Captain - I don't want to give anything away about them, but they had me laughing and smiling to much.

Then there is Aidan. Well, hello good Irish sir! What's not to love about you lol. I mean, if Harper doesn't want you, you can come Down Under and ... well.... you know.. down under 😛

As much as I do adore Aidan and Harper, for me this story really was about the animals. I can't help it, I just love them all and want to hug them and pet them and squeeze them and call them George.

I really would be quite useless on the farm hahah.

I was left smiling as I finished this book. After some emotion filled reads, this was just the thing I needed.

I can't wait to see what Ms Probst brings us next.

Yessssss! I love diving back into Stark World. I just can't get enough of Damien, Nikki and their brood.

I devoured Indulge Me in no time. This novella was a great little extra in the Stark family world.

However it might be me, but this one didn't really feel like anything new for me - except for Damien trying to recruit more members for Stark Security.

I loved seeing Daddy Damien - in both ways 😉😉😉

This really was a pretty short and adorable little snippet into the Stark's lives, and I enjoyed it from start to end.
