Carmen Jenner is an insta-buy author for me. And Carmen Jenner dipping her toe in the m/m genre - yes please!

Finding North is so much more than just a m/m romance novel. I read a lot of m/m and I love it all. But often we get two out and proud men who find each other. Their animal magnetism drawing them to each other - and I have to say, it gets me hot under the collar.

What we don't often get is the bond that Will and North have. Best-friends-to-lovers-to-strangers-to-lovers, (phew, did you keep up?), there is always going to be an unbreakable bond between them. No matter what has happened, when love turns to hate, it is still there.

I loved that this was not a simple "gay for you" story. North is confused, afraid, angry. The internal struggle between the head and the heart, what he wants and what he thinks he should want.

I could completely understand Will's reluctance to let North back in. After a decade of the same, who would? My heart broke over and over for Will as they kept going around in circles.

Then again, I could understand North's fears too. But I wanted to shake some sense into him all the same.

We got glimpses of Will and North's pasts, but I would have loved to have gotten more of North's childhood, as it still plays such a huge part in the man he is today.

There is quite an oppressive feel around Will and North, Red Maine - the small town they live in. Like many small towns there is a festering hatred for what they don't class as "the norm". Bigotry abounds, and the pack mentality has set in.

As the title says, this really is about "Finding North". Not just North coming out. But Will and North finding their way back to each other. Finding a way to survive in such a vitriolic world. Finding a way to see things are not all black and white. Finding the love in each other.

Finding North a beautiful, touching, and at times heartbreaking read. But I read with a sense of hope in my heart the whole way through.

Now Ms Jenner, what will you bring us next?

Springtime At Hope Cottage was a sweet and adorable addition to the Sweetwater Springs series.

If you have read the first book, you will remember our leading lady Josie is Kaitlyn's friend who wrote the story about the B & B and Sweetwater Springs.

The last thing Josie wants it to leave NYC or to find love. However, now she is back in town, and Sweetwater Springs is doing it's thing.

I adore Josie, and what woman cannot love Tuck? The sparks flew between them, and the emotion jumped off the pages. I couldn't wait to turn each page to see where Josie and Tuck's adventures would take us next.

I laughed, I smiled, and my heart hurt at times as events were revealed. But mostly I just couldn't get enough of these lovelies and this town.

Now I am impatiently awaiting more.

Where do I start with this book?

The Way Back Home is a romance story, but it is so much more than that. In fact, at times I felt that the romance took a back seat in this story, and what was happening around Olivia and August took the main stage.

August Cotton, ex Marine, a broken man.

Olivia - the woman tasked to bring him back into the world.

Throw a spanner in the works, a horrible Southern town (southern hospitality my ar$e) and what you get is a story of loss, heartbreak, pain - and hope.

Oh the emotions that I felt whilst reading. The back and forth, the anger, the hurt - gah, it got me right in the feels.

I want these two broken people to make it so much.

"Back and forth, we continue to hurt one another. We push and shove, scratch and claw until we're both broken and bleeding, a never-ending cycle of paint and hurt and torment."

There is so much I could say about this book, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Buy it. Read it.

I can't wait to see what Ms Jenner brings us next.

Get away from the idiot box, and that horrible show Married At First Sight, and dive into Arrange Me.

I have seen the name Katy Regnery around book world for a long time now, however this is my first Katy Regnery read.

And what a sweet and refreshing read it is. I have been reading a lot of crime and darker stories lately, and Arrange Me is the perfect read to get me out of the darker book space.

I am sure we have all been in the same headspace as Courtney, sick of dating, sick of kissing the toads to get to the prince. I am not sure I would go as far as she does though! That's one heck of a big step to take!

There was something that I really hoped would happen, but you will need to read for yourself to find out what it is.

I laughed, I was full of hope and love for Courtney and her journey. There is a second part to this story to come, and I can't wait to see where we go next.

You will need to have read book one, Motion before diving in to book 2.

With the way the first book ended, and with Abram's insistence that he hates liars, I was expecting an argument of big bang proportions when I started reading Space.

However I did not get this. I got lots of passive aggressive comments, stares across the room and so much quiet between the two, I didn't know if they would ever talk to each other.

You could feel their emotions coming off the pages, the love, the hate, the confusion. The just weren't showing them to each other.

My heart hurt for Mona, as she doesn't let her emotions show much, and I hated the way people talked about her being emotionless. I felt the emotion for her, and wanted to slap some sense into people

I did like Mona's relationship with Lisa better, though I have to say I didn't think I could dislike her brother Leo any more than I did before - but nope, I was wrong. He was a complete and utter d!ck in this installment. I wanted to clip him over the head with my kindle!

I did like where the story has taken us at the end of Space, and look forward to the finale in Time.

From a bride left at the altar to a sexy one night stand on her so called "honeymoon", Mackenzie sure doesn't do thing by halves.

Poor Mackenzie is my first thought, but then she is anything but poor and the dumping is the catalyst for her to finally tackle life.

And Slade - hellllooooo sir! As much as he is a dick, as the story progresses you can understand why he is a lot of the ways he is, even thought I wanted to throw a soccer ball at his head a lot of the time.

You can feel the sparks between our lovelies from the first meeting, and I for one couldn't wait for Slade to remove his head from his sphincter and see how amazing Mack is.

I gotta say, I really, really wanted to nut punch Mack's ex, Alton. Oh man, when you read I am sure you will have the same reaction.

I liked that though yes, our lovelies did have their issues, they - eventually - sorted them out. I also had my issues with Mack's family for a while. They made me so made!

Risky Play was a cute and sweet read, just the antidote to the darker reads I have been reading a lot of lately.

I can't wait for more of this series.

Eight Lives is an intriguing story, based on a true story.

At first the medical jargon (there is a bit of it, but not unexpected with the author's background) can feel a bit overwhelming, however we are given plenty of explanation so it should not be a barrier for readers.

We are told the story through many sets of eyes, however they all have distinct voices, so whilst it could be easy to get lost in them all, this reader didn't.

when the "golden boy" of Australian medical research dies, it sets the wheels in motion and will have the reader wondering if these drug trials are worth it in the end?

Some of the descriptions can get a bit icky, so it may not be for every one to read.

i did find the first half and all the set up did drag a bit, however once that was out of the way the story took off and it was one heck of a ride, that would not always take us where we thought it would.

This story is a bit confronting, however I could not put it down once it got going.

You will need to have read book one, Havoc, as we continue where the first book ends.

From the Chaos comes order.

I have that song "Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul (and who can forget MC Skat Cat!) as I read, as our lovelies really aren't a couple you would expect. And I love them the more for it.

We knew after reading Havoc that life for our lovelies was not going to be easy, however as more and more obstacles were thrown in their way, they navigated them wonderfully.

I was so excited to to the conclusion of Alec and Keyes story. Gah, I have been impatiently waiting for part two *puts on whiney voice* forevvveerrrr.

And Kindle Alexander did not disappoint.

The chemistry between our lawyer and our biker is off the charts. It is hot, it is sexy, and it is emotional. You could feel each characters inner turmoil leaping off the pages, and my heart hurt for the guys as they fought for their HEA.

There is plenty of sh!tty things happening to our guys, and I was kept on the edge of my seat, hoping with the turn of each page that nothing would keep them apart.

I laughed, I cried, I threw my kindle across the couch in frustration.

But most of all, I hoped and I smiled as I read.

This duo has written another amazing story, and I can't wait to see what they bring us next.

I knew after the ending of Art Of Love that we were going to be in for one heck of a ride with Sin of Love.

And Ms Halloron has not disappointed.

We learned a little of Deirdre's past in Art of Love - but hooley dooley, that was nothing compared to what I have learned reading Sin Of Love.

Sin of Love is darker, more emotional. I had such a visceral reaction to this story, my heart ached, my stomach hurt, and I didn't know whether to throw my kindle on the couch or turn the page at times.

It takes a while for Deirdre and Gideon to come together in this installment, however it is not surprising once you start reading.

I liked the darkness of this story - I know, it is something that a lot of people shy away from, however the story could not have gone any other way with this one.

I loved getting more into Gideon's head with this story as well.

The quality of the writing is amazing, the story telling is wonderful, and I was hooked from the first word to the last.

Thank you Ms Halloran for giving us Deirdre and Gideon's story.

This is the first of the Ryder's series that I have read/listened to, however I have read plenty of Melissa Foster's works before.

Lizzie and Blue's story is sweet and cute and I enjoyed it.

However, Blue is such a child at times, and it made me want to yell at Lizzie to run, not walk away from him.

I was not a real big fan of the narrator of this one. Nothing wrong with his performance as such, I just did not feel that he was a good fit with this story - and in the end I read the last 40% of the story rather than listen. This could just be me though.

I now need to go back and read the rest of the Ryder series.
