Like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally... yes, yes ,YES we are back in Vermont and the Shipley family.

My heart filled with fireworks when I heard that we were getting Benito's story. I have been wanting to learn more about him since Zara's story.

And Ms Bowen has not disappointed. In face, this story was so much more.

Second chances are one of my favourite romance tropes, and Skye and Benito are finally getting their second chance, a decade down the track.

Though it did make me wonder, why if they were both so in love with each other and hot for each other, that neither of them looked for the other in all that passing time? But this could just be me.

Neither Benny or Skye had it easy in childhood - can I just say that Skye's mum is a horrible piece of work, and I despised her with every cell in my body.

I liked the way our lovelies reunited - I don't want to spoil anything except to say you will probably laugh at how Skye ends up back in Vermont.

There is drama galore in this story, however it didn't feel OTT. I did, however, feel that some of this drama did get dragged out a bit, and it made the middle of the book sluggish.

It was great to get little snippets of the Shipleys and others from the True North series. Just enough to keep me up to date.

However, now I need whatever Ms Bowen is bringing us next. I don't like to wait!

I haven't read the first book in this new series (though it has been sitting on my kindle since release day) however that did not affect my reading of Pretty Little Player at all.

Oh how I loved Cayden from the minute we meet him. He is my kind of pirate!

Gracie - I like the girl! From the beginning I just knew that he wasn't what they were making her out to be. I like that he loves herself for who she is, and won't let anyone make her feel bad about herself.

Poor Cayden doesn't have a hope in hell of no falling for her.

This short book has a bit of everything in it, and I read it in one sitting.

I now need to go back and read the first book, and am waiting impatiently for what Ms Kenner brings us next.

Now, the princess/president's daughter etc falling for their security man is not a new story - however it is one that I will always pick up and read.

I have been waiting for Caroline's story since I started reading this series. I knew, that with 2 protective brothers and the president for her father that she was going to have her struggles.

I love love love that she (nor her brothers) are spoiled little rich kids, riding on their father's coat tails.

I adore that she has her own life and career, and despite her family, she speaks her mind and lets them all know what she is thinking.

And hellooooooo sexy secret service man! Ty is sweet and wonderful and oh. so. sexy. I mean, you can't blame a girl for falling for him, as I did right along with Caroline.

There is sexual tension up the wazoo with our lovelies *fans self* along with plenty of witty banter and just all together wonderfulness. This pair are definitely my favourite couple in this series.

I loved getting to see where Barrett and Thorn and their ladies are at, and the guys over protectiveness of Caroline is both sweet and terrifying lol. I want them to be my brothers.

I really have enjoyed the Running Mates series, and I am looking forward to what Ms Ashley brings us next.

Welcome back to Lisa's world of corporate high flyers, dirty deals and even dirtier relationships.

Reid and Carrie's relationship is full of sexual tension and lust and hatred. We pick up right where their first book ended, with a proposal.

There was so much happening at the end of the first book, so I knew that we were going to be hitting the ground running with this one.

It did take me a little while to get into this one - this is probably me and a dose of end of year blogger burnout, or if there was a bit too much going on and I just wasn't keeping up well? However I got over that pretty quickly.

I liked that yes, though there were things going on around Reid and Carrie and business, they didn't let that break them. I loved how much stronger Carrie seemed to be in this installment.

I love seeing more of Cat and Reese and Gabe in this book, and I hope to see more of them all again soon.

Oh Ms Summers, what have you done to me.

I have been waiting for Decker since I read Hunter, and I have not been disappointed. This romantic suspense story has had me on the edge of my seat (well, couch) for the entire read.

Decker and Keira's story was dark and full of secrets and lies - yet through it all they find each other, they are the order to each other's chaos.

At times I didn't know who I could trust, who I should like, who I should shank (yes, it did bring out some violent tendencies at times). What I did know was that I needed to turn the next page to find out what was happening.

And then just when I thought I could take a breath, Ms Summers had it ending in a way that had me screaming what the heck!

I need the next book. Now. I don't want to wait. Please don't keep me waiting too long.

Ms Johnson, as always, you had me at SEAL.

This is part of the new Silver SEALS series, and what a way to get started.

Silas Branson is all SEAL al the time. And even when he isn't he is.

I don't want to give anything away about this story, as I feel you need to just jump in a bit blind and enjoy this story.

I will say that it was a lot more emotional than the other SEAL stories I have read by Ms Johnson. I may have shed a tear or two as I was reading.

I can't wait to see where this series takes me next

This book. This is the book I have been waiting for for the past year, ever since I read the first book in the Cartwright brother series.

And Ms Anderson has certainly not disappointed.

In fact, she has exceeded my expectations of what Toby Cartwright's story would be.

It has been a day since I finished reading it, and I am still thinking about it.

There is so much that has lead up to this final installment of the series, so I feel that you will need to have read all the previous books to get the full impact of this book.

Gah, it is so hard to write this and not give anything away. I have waited so long for Toby to fall in love, and the woman he finds is perfect for im in every single way. She is so not what I expected, yet so much better than Holland for him.

If you have read my reviews of the previous books, you should remember that from the second book, I was not a fan of Nate Cartwright, and I have to say, still not much of a fan. He has redeemed himself just a tiny bit in this installment, but nope, still a d!ck!

I am now feeling very despondent that this series has come to it's conclusion. Fool's Paradise is a beautiful, emotional story, that I need to go back and reread already.

I can't wait to see what Ms Anderson brings me next.

It is always a good day when a new Kim Karr story turns up on your kindle.

This surprise release was just the antidote I needed to all the Christmas and New Year celebrations. I was able to sit down and just enjoy a read, which hadn't happened for a few weeks.

Tori and Adrien's story was a cute, sexy, story of finding real love against the odds, when you have family and your country breathing down your back to make a suitable match.

Our lovelies are both a little lost at the moment, and find a bit of sense and companionship in each other. I love how they meet and how their stories came together.

There are a lot of secondary characters, that at first as the story is starting were a little confusing - however I think that is more me than the story - blogger burn out is a real thing, and I was in the middle of it. It is also setting up characters for the next books in this series too.

I just wanted Tori and Adrien to be together. But can they make it with all the outside pressures on them?

To find out, you will need to read for yourself.

Fun, flirty and fabulous, I cannnot wait to see where Ms Karr takes this series.

Please don't make me wait too long to find out!

Gah, I just love getting back to Heartbreaker Bay! I just adore every single thing about the people in this series.

This is Caleb (woohoo) and Sadie's story, and it was fun, flirty and emotional. I think all of us can connect a little bit with Sadie, and I can tell you now, I just wanted to b!tchslap some of the people in her life for things!

I love their new addition to their lives, and boy did it make me want to get another dog! Though I don't miss the drool and the poop pickups!

I couldn't help but fall for Caleb right from the start, and I need one of my own!

I loved getting bits and bobs of the the crew from Heartbreaker Bay, and little snips of where their lives are at. I think I need to move to San Fran and become their friends.

I laughed, I cried, I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room (or at somebody's head!)

I can't wait to see what Ms Shalvis brings us next.
