Queer Eye: Love Yourself. Love Your Life.
Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Bobby Berk
Copy received from Hachette Australia for an honest review
I was hooked on the new Queer Eye from the minute I started watching it, and this book is a great companion for the show.
I was interested in knowing more about this fab five, and Love Yourself. Love Your Life gives me just what I was looking for, with a bit about themselves and some fabulous tips from each of their areas of expertise.
This would be a great coffee table book that you could pick up at will and get a few tips on how to love yourself and your life.

It is always a good day when a new Kim Karr story turns up on your kindle.
Now, I don't even like wine, however I love books set in wine country (I think it's because I am thinking of the cheese and cracker platters they always have at wine tastings - because mmm cheese!)
We carry on right where Volume 1 ends, and I couldn't be more excited to see where Tyler and Paris' story goes.
I am still a fan of Tyler's alpha-holeness, however even more I am liking the changes in the man.
But just when you think things are going to be alright for our lovelies, more and more skeletons crawl out of the closet.
We are cliffied at the end of this volume - however i was expecting this, and it is not long until the 3rd volume is out.
I won't complain if Ms Karr decides to hit publish early.

It have been waiting for this book since I first found out about Twitch at the end of Dirty.
And wow, has Ms Aurora given us one heck of a comeback!
In fact, she had me at "Hey, Angel" right to the very last word.
There is so much going on in this story, however I feel it is one that you need to dive right in blind and experience it all for yourself.
We are taken on an emotional rollercoaster as the story progresses, and at times I didn't know whether to scream at my Kindle or cry big ugly tears.
Raw: Rebirth was everything. I can't wait for you all to read it.

Dogs are often the best people, and I would often trust my dog's instincts rather than my own. Plus, they are normally a lot nicer than people!
This is my first Beth Kendrick read, and it was sweet and cute and fluffy. I needed something uplifting after some darker reads, and In Dog We Trust was just the ticket.
It goes to show that one chance encounter can change your life, and that is what happens for Jocelyn.
Is it for the good? Is it for the bad? For that you will need to read for yourself.
Wonderful characters that had me laughing, had my cursing, had me smiling to the end.
I did kind of feel that the end was just... meh. There was all this build up and then... nothing - however this could just be me.

Sigh, oh how I love Cronin, Alec and their motley crew of friends.
Just when you think things will be good for our lovelies, things come at them again.
This one was a lot more emotional for me than the first one. Now I need to get right on to Book 3.
Great narration by Joel Leslie.

Sigh, it is sad to come to the end of another Sawyer Bennett series, however she has sent us out with a bang.
I have been waiting for Asher's story and I was not disappointed.
Hannah and Asher's story was a bit too insta-f*ck for me, but it didn't really bother me as their story developed.
I liked that there wasn't really any drama, no OTT angst, and that they both acted like adults instead of petulant children chucking a hissy fit.
I loved getting to go back to the Wicked Horse, catching up with some of the people we have met in earlier books.
There is a little scene stealer that will absolutely run away with your heart too (and no, it isn't Asher!)
I like that Hannah isn't a doormat. She sticks up for herself and her daughter, she gives as good as she gets, and makes Asher fight for her.
Cute, sweet, full of tender moments, Wicked Knight was a wonderful read. It has made me want to go back to Vegas again - not to the sex club!
I can't wait to see what Ms Bennett brings us next.

The Last Of the Romanov Dancers is story set in the back ground of pre-revolution Russia.
Kerri Turner's debut sets real life figures amongst fictional characters in the Imperial Ballet, where ambition walks and money talks.
It did take me a little while to get into this book, and I did consider DNFing at one stage, however I think that had more to do with me and end of year burn out rather than the book. Once I got past that stage I couldn't wait to turn each page.
Luka and Valentina's story is not always an easy one to read, which is to be expected with the time it is set. Despite all the differences, you can't help but want them to be together.
I got swept away with this story, and even though I knew where the story would eventually take us, I enjoyed the journey.
I am looking forward to what Ms Turner brings us in the future.

You will need to have read at least Mercy and Havoc before reading Lock to get the full effects, as things with Ember did start back in their books.
I won't lie - it did take me a little while to get into Lock, and it wasn't until about 45% that things really did kick off for me - however I think this is probably just me, and end of year book blogger weariness and not the book.
This does start out as a sweet college romance, however it does not take long for things to turn darker, however with Ember being Nix/Mercy's sister, it should not really surprise you.
To me, this book should have been called Ember rather than Lock, as I felt we got so much more of her than Lock. I loved the journey Ember takes in this story, and whilst yes it is a lot of .... Lock it is more her story.
But this is just me.
I don't want to give anything away, as I feel that this is a story that you need to immerse yourself in , heart and soul.
You will be taken on one hell of a ride with this lot!
Buy it. Love it.
