I am starting to shy away a little from college aged romances - nothing against the books, it is just that I am an old fart and it is a bit pervy lusting after 21 year old boys lol

Also, I know nothing about American football - other than it takes about 42 hours to play a game!

However, there are some authors that I will pick up no matter the age of the characters, and Ilsa Madden-Mills is one of them.

I enjoyed I Dare You, so I knew I was going to enjoy I Bet You - and I sure did.

Being called I Bet You, you kind of know where the story is going to go. It is kind of that move She's All That, with a writer instead of a painter.

Ryker and Penelope's story is all kinds of sweet and adorable. We know early on in the book that it starts with a bet, and we all know what is going to happen when she finds out it is a bet, however it is how they manage things once it all comes out that I liked. I loved that they talked, they acted like adults and sorted crap out.

I am a huge fan of "Vampire Bill" - you will love him when you meet him.

One thing I have to ask Ms Madden-Mills thought - what is Archer's childhood trauma? Ugh, he is so, so unlikable, and I couldn't help but cheer when we got to him at the end of the book.

I can't wait for more of these guys to get their story.

Yes! We are back in the Royally world again!

I didn't even read the blurb of this book before signing up to read it, I just knew it would be great. So imagine my surprise when I started an it was Queen Lenore's story - you know, the grandma from the previous Royally stories.

And colour me even more surprised when I learned that it was her story of how she became Queen. Heck yes, I knew I was right and that I would love it.

This is a smart, funny, and at times heartbreaking story. Edward, no matter how much you want to slap his mouth, you can't help but adore. I loved watching Lenore and Edward fall in love, and he really is all kinds of swoonworthy.

I love love love how Lenore breaks all the rules, and writes a whole lot more! She was so far ahead of here time in Wessco, and she is quite the ruler. I want to be her when I grow up!

It had been a while between Royally books, however this one was worth every second of the wait.

I can't wait to see what Ms Chase brings us next.

I haven't read anything by Ms Clampett before, haven't read the book Unforgiven or met the character Ramon, however this did not affect my reading at all, as this could be read as a standalone.

Charlie and Ramon's story is cute and adorable, with a little bit of drama and suspense thrown in for good measure.

I adore Charlie right from the start. There is something a little naive about him that just makes him all the more likeable. Plus, the way he looks after his sister just throws his man points right up there.

When he meets Ramon, well those sparks sure do fly. He is so completely different from our Charlie, but that just makes it so much more right.

Now, one thing that bugged me about this book - how old is anyone? I mean, I don't need to know about every birthday party they ever had, but I could only take a rough guess at their ages from things that were mentioned, however they just didn't seem to align with other things - this could just be me though.

I adore adore ADORE Charlie's sister Sasha. She is just everything plus more that any woman could aspire to be like.

I did feel that this book did drag a little in the middle, and I did feel like I had to put it down and try to come back to it later. Not 100% sure why I felt that way though.

A cute and sweet and adorable story, I will be going back to read the first book.

Goodbye, Kate is completely different from any other Nicola Haken book I have read to date.

Like all her stories, this is an intense read. Kate has discovered that all her life has been a lie, and now all those lies are coming home roost. And boy, do they come back.

This really is one rollercoaster of a ride. Kate and Lincoln's story is full of twists and turns. Just when you think you know what is happening, BAM - Ms Haken throws a a doozy of a curve ball our way.

I was kept right on the edge of my seat with this one, full of suspense and drama. I am not sure I was really prepared for where the story took us. I needed to quickly turn each page, as I needed to know where the story would take us next.

My heart hurt for Kate as the story progressed, however I knew Ms Haken would repair it be the end of the story, and she did not disappoint.

Now I can't wait to see what she brings us next - I don't care if it is M/M or M/F, just don't make me wait too long!

Woot! Another Sawyer Bennett hockey hottie to add to my collection!

Welcome to Phoenix, home of the Arizona Vengeance.

We met our lovelies, Blue and Erik in Bishop - you know, how was flirting with her, and she was so not impressed by it?

Well, now he is still at it, however he is wearing her down!

Gah, I just adored their story. I freaking loved Erik fighting for his woman (I mean, we all get sick of the manwhoring and stuff right? I want to see them fall for that one woman - and it not be easy!)

I liked that there wasn't too much OTT drama. Blue and Erik make their way together pretty smoothly and it is not drawn out right to the last minute. In fact, a lot of the time things go really well.

I love, love, love Erik with Blue's brother Billy. Absolutely heart melting

There is plenty of set up for more books in this series. I really, really, REALLY want - no, need - Tacker's story. It is going to hurt my heart but it is going to so be worth it.

I am looking forward to Dax, Legend and Tacker's books - and any other new Vengeance boys who may turn up in the future..

I. Can't. Wait

It has been a while since I have read a Melissa Collins story, and I didn't realise how much I had missed her writing.

Who We Were quickly became my favourite Melissa Collins story to date.

Ryan and Quinn's story is not all hearts and flowers. I laughed. I cried. I threw my kindle across the room (well, technically it was from one end of the couch to the other). There were so many feels, from the first page to the last.

From early high school to the present, I adored our lovelies. I won't lie, at times I didn't like Ryan and his running away issues, and I wanted to hate him for it, but I just couldn't.

My heart hurt for both our lovelies for most of the book. I just couldn't with some of the characters close to them. If you looked up "ar%ehole family" in the dictionary, you would find a picture of Ryan's mum, dad and particularly his brother Patrick. I just couldn't with them.

I loved being taken on the journey as our lovelies found their way back to each other. I think I spent the last 15% of the book reading through tears.

Gah, there is so much I want to say about this book, however I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. Diving into this one a little blind is a good thing.

I couldn't put Who We Were down, and I didn't want it to end. I need more.

I can't wait to see what Ms Collins brings us next.

Firstly - that cover is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Dusan should be on every cover!

It seems like forever since we have had a Vi/Pen collaborations, and I adored Hate Notes from the beginning.

Charlotte is slightly crazy, but who could expect anything less after what she has been through. Her "craziness" just makes her all the more lovable.

Reed - well, he is all kinds of a-hole to Charlotte, however at the same time I couldn't help but adore him too.

And the sparks and the UST between them - phew it flies off the pages.

Fighting is foreplay for this couple - and they like the fight! But there wasn't as much sexy time as we normally get - and this old perv missed it!

Gah, I just couldn't get enough of this story. Yes, it is a rom-com however it is serious and heartbreaking as well as funny and romantic.

One thing that I was particularly happy about - there wasn't that thing that always turns up in a Vi/Pen story. Yay for not adding it this time ladies!

Waaah so good! This 1001 Nights short story was the perfect thing to hold me over till the next full K. Bromberg story.

It took me a little bit to get into this story, but I think that was my frame of mind at the time of picking it up, nothing to do with the story. And once I got going, I couldn't put this one down.

If you have read the previous Everyday Heroes series, you have met our leading lady Desi already - she's Em from Cuffed's best friend.

Desi and Rez do not start off on the best of terms, however they can't keep their thought off each other - nor their eyes and other bits 😋

I was more than ready for Desi's story. I knew it was going to be an interesting one, and Ms Bromberg has not disappointed.

Full of laughter, tears, great banter between our lovelies and between their friends, I really enjoyed Control.

I can't wait to see what Ms Bromberg brings us next.

This is the second Beefcakes book, however you do not have to have read the first one to enjoy this second installment.

If you have read my review of Sir Loin, you will know that I had my issues with some parts of the story.

But never fear, I did not have such issues with T-Bone.

This is Tucker Duke's story - he's Duke from the first book's brother. Tucker, Colton and Ava's story is hot hot hot 🔥🔥🔥 I am talking douse me with buckets of water hot!

There wasn't really much of a plot (well, except for getting to the insta-f*&king) and I wanted a bit more substance, I still enjoyed their story. And I enjoyed it more than the first book.

I can't wait to see where the next book takes us.

I licked him, Bones is Mine! #BonesIsMine

Oh my Bones! I never thought that any of Melissa Foster's guys could make me question my undying love for Tru, but Bones Whiskey is sure giving him a run for his money.

Wicked Whiskey love gave me all the feels. I couldn't help but laugh, smile and at times shed a tear or two.

But mostly, Bones made me swoon. Like, completely weak at the knees, ovaries exploding swoon.

I adore Sarah and her family, however to me this book is all about Bones. He is everything. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.

It has been hours since I finished this book, but I can't stop thinking about it.

Sarah is a strong, protective, amazing mother and you can't help but fall for her and her kids. And watching #MyBones with her and Bradley and Lila just makes this girl want to be Sarah.

There is a little bit of drama, but nothing over the top, and nothing that is dragged out just for the sake of it.

It was wonderful to get more of the Whiskey guys and their families. I want to be friends with them so much.

Wonderful, sweet, romantic - Wicked Whiskey Love was the perfect romantic story for me.

I can't wait to see what Ms Foster brings us next.
