It never gets old diving into a Heartbreaker Bay story, and Molly and Lucas's book is no exception.

I am a little bit addicted to the people who live in this building/work at this business.

I want to be friends with Molly. She is badass, snarky and doesn't take any of the crap from any off the guys at Hunt Investigations.

Lucas is one of the big bad alphas in the office - and kinda sorta has a thing for our girl Molly

And when they work together, boy do spark fly.

There is a perfect balance between romance, humour and mystery suspense in Hot Winter Nights.

And I love love love that it is set around Christmas time - my favourite holiday of the year!

Sexy, sweet and fun, Hot Winter Nights was just what I needed for the cold winter afternoon here.

I can't wait to see what Ms Shalvis brings us next.

Every Ainslie Paton book is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.

If you have read One Night Wife, then you have already kinda met our leading man and lady, Lenny and Halsey.

We know that Halsey Sherwood is a grifter, a con man who will take you down (well, if you are a despot who needs taking down).

Lenny has been dragged into the con by her best friend Fin and Halsey's brother Cal in the last book, hates the con game and everything Sherwood.

There is something about Ms Paton's characters that, even when we shouldn't really like them, we can't help but fall for them.

I love that Halsey is the nerdy, computer guy of the Sherwood business. I adore how he stumbles over his words when he is around Lenny. Totally adorkable.

I love how our lovelies lives aren't all rainbows and butterflies, they have their baggage and their issues and they are dealt with realistically.

Fool Me Forever was a great bit of escapism, and I can't wait to see what Ms Paton brings us next.

♫❅ It's the most magical time of the year ❅♫

Yes, it is the time of year that Christmas books start turning up on my kindle!

I have only just realised that this is book 15 in the Eternity Springs series, but that didn't make a lick of difference to my enjoyment of The Christmas Wishing Tree.

Jenna, Reilly and Devin's story is a wholesome, lovely story. It is the perfect blend of sweet and tender, with some mystery and intrigue thrown in. My heart hurts for Jenna and Reilly as their story unfold, but full of hope as the town of Eternity Springs embraces them. There is a great sense of community that I just adore.

I love the "wrong number brings them together" story line. This really is a different take on "secret santa!"

I have to say, Reilly is a scene stealer. I adore all the characters, but this little guy just grips you by the heart and doesn't let go.

The Christmas Wishing Tree is a great way to get that Christmas spirit ramping up. It is my favourite holiday, and this has just made me love it more.

I will be going back to read the earlier books in this series now.

I can't wait to see what Ms Grant brings us next.

^^ That there was me pretty much from the beginning of The One Moment. What we got of Hayden's story in Not The One hurt my heart, but now that we have his whole story, well I was an emotional wreck.

There are so many things in That One Moment that I can relate to. I have had those thoughts. I have done those things. I have felt the helplessness that Hayden feels in his journey.

Yes, there were plenty of tears. But they were not all sad tears. There were sad tears, heartbreaking tears, but happy years, and tears of hope. Hope is a big emotion that I felt whilst reading.

I loved Hayden and Vi together. The one who thinks they are unlovable and the one who thinks they can't give love. They are each others hope, their salvation. That one in a million that we all search for.

Their story is not just 'that one moment' - it is full of little moments that can seem insignificant, but make them whole.

I loved the banter with Vi's brothers. I don't know how she put up with their interference, it would drive me batty. But I could feel the love they all have for each other.

So while for most of the story Ms Daws made me feel like this

she made my heart lift, made me smile, made everything I felt in my times when I was going through issues like Hayden's feel more normal.

Thank you Ms Daws for tackling such a taboo kind of subject with such empathy.

This is by far Ms Daws best book in this series (and that is saying a lot as I have LOVED each and every one of them so far!)

I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

It has been a long couple of weeks since we read Once Upon A Real Good Time, and I have been sitting by my kindle waiting for One Upon A Sure Thing to get here.

We got a bit of a Ally and Miller in Campbell's book, but what Ms Blakely has given us is so much more than I was looking for.

I am a big fan of friends-to-lovers stories. The UST between this pair is

I love how they fight for the HEA, knowing that it could end their best friend-ship if things go south. As I reader I was their biggest cheerleader, they needed to take things to the next level, if only for my sanity!

I loved the brothers/kids/friends and their banter. They made me laugh so hard at times. I need to be part of their circle!

This was just a perfect, sweet, beautiful romance that left me smiling well after I had finished it.

Now I neeeeeed Miles' book ASAP!

Christmas On Mistletoe Lane is the perfect way to start getting me ready for Christmas.

Broken hero? Check!
Independant woman? Check?
Run down B & B in a sweet little town? Check

Mitch and Kaitlyn's story is sweet and cute and adorable. There is plenty of snark that is hiding the spark of attraction between them. You can't help but wait for all that UST to fall to the ground and for our lovelies to make happy.

There is a great group of secondary characters that made me smile as I was reading.

It was a joy reading along as our lovelies fell in love, loved the small town vibe, especially loved it being set around Christmas. It has made we want to find a B & B to stay at this Christmas (even though it will be stinking hot, not nice and snowy!)

This is my first Annie Rains book, and it won't be my last.

Office romance at Christmas time? Why yes please!

Tinsel in a Tangle is a charming novella that just warmed my heart.

I just wanted Adam and Shelby to be together right from the start. They are just too adorable!

I also liked that even though this is a short story, it didn't feel rushed. We go snippets of how their relationship got to where it is today, and it made me want more.

Welcome back to Lisa's world of corporate high flyers, dirty deals and even dirtier relationships.

Mia and Grayson's relationship is complicated. Breakups and betrayals abound as our lovelies find their way back to each other.

I will say, I felt that the first 30% of the story went around in circles. I love you, you betrayed me, I hate you, I didn't lie - rinse, wash, rinse repeat. Mia and Grayson seemed to be caught in that loop.

And when it came round to it, was there any betrayal to begin with? Mia annoyed me with all her going on about that - but this could just be me.

I do love the spark and push/pull between Grayson and Mia, and through it all, I do want them to find their HEA, even when I want to slap their heads together and yell at them to snap out of it!

I did like them fighting to be together. Fighting those that are fighting against them. Giving a big middle finger to the world. I had to know what was happening next.

What I loved the most though was Grayson's friends. Oh, how I am impatient for their stories, especially Eric - hello, Navy SEAL.

Please don't make me wait too long, Ms Jones.
