As soon as I heard that Ms Ward was writing a firefighter's series, I was onto it like a fly on poo.

I am really looking forward to Consumed, and I really liked this first novella leading up to that book.

I love the spark <=== see what I did there - between Anne and Danny, and need to know where things are leading.

Right on to #2 for me!

I have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of Noah Jameson on my kindle, and it was worth every second of the wait.

Now, take a look at that cover. I am not usually one to even look much at covers, but this one is hot hot hot. Now, back to business.

For the first time in always reading M. Robinson's books (and I have read them all!) I did not spend a large portion of the book reading through tears. Yes, it is emotional, yes, as with all M. Robinson books it is angsty. However this time it didn't rip my heart out repeatedly.

In this instance, I found the book more frustrating, more angry, the character relationship more toxic than in previous books.

My heart did hurt for Noah as we go back to things that happened in Road To Nowhere/Ends Here territory.

Yes, Lost Boy is emotional, yesI shed a tear or two, but I spent most of my time wanting to throw my kindle at Noah and his Skyler.

Their relationship played out the only way it really could have, and I am glad it went the way it did - nothing worse than a relationship that is forced one way when it should go another.

Heartbreaking, emotional, frustrating and raw. Ms Robinson has done it again with Lost Boy.

I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Seriously, where are all these smoking hot firemen living? Obviously not near me lol

Things certainly do heat up between Anne and Danny in this second novella, and it has left me yearning for Consumed

Lucky for me I have an advanced copy waiting on my kindle.

I can't wait to dive into this new series from JR Ward.

**Audible read**

I won't lie, I had not heard of Suzan Tisdale before all this #Cockygate stuff erupted a few months ago, but after watching her live videos, I knew that this was a lady that I needed to support, so picked up a few books and audiobooks for my collection.

I am so glad I came across her and her books.

I am a huge fan of the Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon, so scottish historical books - let me at them.

Even though this is book one in this series, I get the feeling that it connects to other series somewhere along the way? But this did not make this one hard to understand.

I enjoyed Ian and Rose's story, the complexities of their relationships, the relationships between clans.

This book has whetted my appetite for more m/f historicals, and I will definitely be reading more of Suzan Tisdale's works.

I won't lie, I had my issues with the first two books in this series, and I did consider not reading A Kiss Like This.

However, our leading lady Abby sounded like she had a bit more sense in her than the characters from the first two books, so I dived in.

And I am glad I did. Finally, some characters who weren't just whorish, horrible people (can anyone say Matthew?). I adored Abby's awkwardness, her bashfulness.

I adore that Caleb isn't the typical frat boy. He is quite awkward too, and it just makes his and Abby's relationship all the more wonderful.

I loved getting a bit more of Molly/Weston and Cece/Matthew from the first 2 books. And surprisingly, in this book Matthew did not make me stabby.

The characters felt more mature (then again, compared to the characters in the first two books, that wasn't hard)

I am glad that I went on to read this book, but I wouldn't go back to read them again.

What a completely sweet and adorable story is Life On The Leash.

Victoria Schade is a new-to-me author, however she won't be for much longer. I will be reading more of her in the future.

She has given us a refreshing mix of humour, romance and flirty fun.

Cora being a dog trainer did make me miss my old girl who crossed the rainbow bridge last year, however the dogs made me remember what a terror pups could be lol.

I liked how the romance sort of played second fiddle to the dogs in this one too. I mean, yes, Cora is looking for love (in all the wrong places) however it might just find her where she isn't looking.

Some of the antics of the dogs and their humans had me in fits of giggles. And I just wanted Cora to get everything she wanted in life.

I really enjoyed Life On The Leash.

** Make sure you read the two free novellas TheWedding From Hell: Rehearsal Dinner and The Wedding From Hell: The Reception before diving in to Consumed. **

A new series from JR Ward - let me at it! Plus - firefighters? Helloooooo! Though I want to know where all these hot firefighters are hiding, as I have never found them yet!

If you have read the 2 prequel novellas above, you will know who Consumed it all about - Anne and Danny. And boy do sparks fly between them.

I liked how Ms Ward was not afraid to go into Consumed all gun "blazing". I mean wow, only a few % in and I was like hoolie doolie!

We are given a wonderfully written story that is more than firefighters. It was a heck of a lot more emotional than I was expecting. Anne has a cargo hold of familial baggage that she is carrying around.

I just want them to get together!

However there is more to this tale then a romance, and the mystery/suspense will keep you on the edge or your chair - or couch, or bed! There were some red herrings thrown in there, and I thought I knew whodunnit, but nope. I am sure Ms Ward is sitting back laughing at us all thinking we know how the bad guy is! When it was revealed I was all "what in the everloving fork?" I had no clue.

And I liked that I didn't know.

I buddy read this book with a friend, and we were both Consumed with this book.

Now I am impatiently waiting for the next installment of the Firefighters series.

What a beautiful debut novel from Karyn Sepulveda. I was intrigued by the blurb of Letters To My Yesterday, and I have been quietly devouring this book in my lunch breaks for the past couple of weeks, wishing I had a longer break ever day.

I felt that I was part of the lives off all the strong women in this story. From 1920's to today, this story tells the lives of some seriously strong women. I was particularly drawn to the women of today, who have nothing in common but come together and form wonderful friendships through.

Letters To My Yesterday had a bit of everything. From heartache and sorrow to love and laughter, these amazing ladies have been through it all.

There is something that I could relate to about each of these women. And I was full of admiration for each and every one of them.

I loved how they built each other up. It is sad that so many women would rather tear someone down than lift them up. These women are each other's biggest cheerleaders, and I admire them for that.

I wanted more. No, I need more!

I can't wait to see what Ms Sepulveda brings us next.

If you have read Wicked Envy, you have already met our leading man Andrew/Drew

After being part of a threesome relationship with is two best friends, he took a step back when Dane and Avril fell in love, remember?

Well, Drew finds his own bride - in the most unusual of ways. However right from the get go you can't help but adore Drew and Brynne.

Their instawedding was a joke, but their feelings aren't and I adored watching them fall in love.

Of course, it is not all smooth sailing, and I wanted to slap some sense in to both of them at times, but I just knew that they would find their way back to each other.

I love a good drunken-Vegas-wedding story, and Wicked Wedding was exactly what I needed last night. Sweet, sexy and tender, I couldn't help but smile as I read.

I can't wait for what Ms Bennett brings us next.

Buckle up and keep arms and legs inside the car, as you are going to be taken on the ride of your life!

Wow, what a great book! We are taken into the world of illegal street racing, and you want to be in this race to a HEA.

Austin and Jalynn's story is a full throttle romance that will have you wanting more.

After their unusual meeting, our lovelies navigate their way to a relationship.

There is so much more to Austin than meets the eye, and when we learn more about him, my heart hurt for him. It was not something I was expecting.

Jalynn is full of sass and snark, and I love that she stands up for herself. And when she goes toe to toe with Austin, boy do those sparks fly.

I adore Austin's brothers, particulary Bryce. However there is also a character that I want to stab with a rusty knife through my kindle - you will know who I mean when you meet them.

We also get set up for the next book, which I am impatiently waiting for.

Ms Colette is a new to me author, however I have read quite a few of Ms Runow's books. The story and characters flowed seamlessly, so I would not have know this was by two authors.

I can't wait for the next in this series.
