ARC received from author for an honest review

I won't lie, I havent' read the last couple of books in the Office Intrigue series, though I have read the first. Nothing against the book, just a case of so many books, so little time.

I was happy to see that this book was about Trent Ramsey - if you have read the Club Destiny series, you have met him already, though if you haven't Their Famous Dominant can be read as a stand alone.

Nicole Edwards books are always long, but there is so much going on in Their Famous Dominant that it is no surprise that this book is bigger again - it is like the length of 2.5-3 regular ebooks these days. But we needed it to be longer too.

Trent is a famous movie star, and a well known dominant. Clarissa is the woman who has been on his radar for a long time now. Troy is his personal assistant - who Trent wants to make things a lot more personal with, if you know what I mean!

I liked that this wasn't just a regular D/s situation, that not all involved are experienced in the scene. There are so many things that our lovelies all need to work out amongst themselves before they could start their unconventional relationship.

And yes, their relationship is really unconventional, however it didn't feel it. It didn't feel awkward, it didn't feel weird. It felt like love all around.

It was great to see some names from past books and series pop up.

Trent, Clarissa and Troy are all extremely likable - Troy particularly for me. There was no OTT drama (sure, there were issues but nothing too extreme) and the story flowed naturally. Nothing felt rushed or forced.

I am now going to have to find the time to go back and read the couple of books I have missed, and need a reread of the Club Destiny series. Is is wrong to ask for 36 hour days so I can fit them in?

I can't wait to see what Ms Edwards brings us next.

Woohoo! Finally, Rogue is here!

I have been impatiently awaiting Rogue's story from the minute I started reading Ace Of Hearts, and Ms Fernando has not disappointed.

In the previous books, we know something is going on with his mother, and now we find out all the whole kit and kaboodle.

We actually meet our leading lady Zoe before we see Rogue in this book, and right from the start she grabs you by the heart and doesn't let go. She is stuck in a rut and nothing seems to be able to drag her out.

Until Rogue. They have a mutual acquaintance in his mother. Oh, how she broke my heart.

I couldn't help but be Zoe and Rogue's biggest cheerleader. They just need to be together. It has to happen!

I freaking adore all the Cursed Raven ladies - I liked them in their own books, but together they sure are a force to be reckoned with!

Heartbreaking, emotional, beautiful. Ms Fernando had me gripped by this story from the first word to the last.

I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Audible version

It seems like we have been waiting forever for Darren and Charlene's story, so I am glad that I do audio books, as I don't know if I could wait another few months knowing the story is out here.

I adored #Darlene's story. I knew theirs was going to be a complicated story from the snippets we had gotten in the previous books, and it was that. However it was also it was less complicated than I had imagined.

The story is sweet and sexy and heartfelt. I love that the rest of the Pucked ladies are a big part of Charlene's story. They just had me laughing and wanting to be part of their group.

I have been reading the Pucked series since the first book came out, impatiently awaiting for each book to come out. however now it feels like it is all coming to an end, and I am not sure how I feel about it.

Please don't end this on us Ms Hunting.

I will always want more.

Copy received from author for an honest review - thank you.

Flirt is the first book from this author that I have read. I am not much into reading college aged books these days - because, old fart here - however the blurb for Flirt intrigued me so I gave it a go.

I love the connection between our leading lady Riley and her Cam. Their history makes it all the more interesting.

I am not going to lie - I found Riley rather unlikable for a lot of the book. Not so much the character per se, but her actions to towards those around her. I could understand her struggles, but man I don't know how they put up with her a lot of the time.

I think the growth in her character is what made the book for me. I couldn't help but like her by the end of the book.

There are some great secondary characters. I adore Riley's roommate Chloe, and will be making time to go back and read her story (Player) in the future.

Frustrating, emotional, sweet - Flirt has a little bit of it all.

I will be reading more of Ms Sparrow's work in the future.

3.5 "You Owe Me" stars

ARC received via Netgalley for an honest review

I don't now where to start with reviewing this book. Suspense, betrayal, family - it has a bit of all of it.

Penny and Hattie are as close as sisters can be, however I am thankful that my relationship with my own sister is not like theirs. Their relationship is a toxic codependency that can't be good for either of them.

I won't like, I didn't really like Hattie much at all in this book. She came across as selfish, a user, and whiney when she didn't get what she wanted. As the story progressed I could understand more why she was the way she was, however it didn't make me like her much more (until the last couple of chapters at least).

Penny, well I wanted to shake some sense into her, tell her to stop giving up everything for Hattie, but again, I could understand why she was like she was but it didn't make me any less frustrated at either lady. Even when she tries to make changes, Penny allowed herself to be drawn back into the vortex that is family.

My heart hurt, I got frustrated, I got angry, but most of all I wanted Hattie and Penny love and be loved.

This was my first Laurie Petrou read. I enjoyed her writing style, the story flowed well, and I was drawn into this story which I read in one afternoon.

I will be checking out more of her work in the future.

I have been looking forward to this second book in the Gods series since I finished Ruin. I am not a fan of American football at all, but I knew I was going to adore Ares book.

And that I did. I was not expecting Ares and Arianna's story to be quite so emotional. I would be reading and BAM - my eyes would start leaking!

Ares and Ari are both a little broken, both with baggage, both emotionally dragged down.

I freaking adored Ari - for all her past weaknesses, she is strong. She is still fighting her addictions, and doing it with her head held high.

Ares - gah, I have a love/hate relationship with him. He can be so wonderful, but then he can just be such a d!ck His stubborness got frustrating, and I just wanted to throw my kindle at his head to make him come to his senses. His douchebagerry fought it out with his protectiveness.

In the words of Elsa from Frozen, he needed to just "let it go".

I was drawn into this story right from the start. Emotional. Heartfelt. Heartbreaking and hopeful. Rush had a bit of it all.

I can't wait to see which of the "Gods" Ms Towle brings us next.

It has been 12 hours since I finished reading Dominate, and my head is still a jumble of thoughts, so please excuse this rumbling mess of a review

At the end of Surrender (which you will need to have read) I was all WTF Daws, you can't do this to me! The past week waiting for this ARC has been pure torture! I have never prayed for an early release more than I have with Dominate.

I was in tears from the first chapter. I kid you not, this is a lot more emotional than Surrender, and you will want to have tissues - and possibly vodka - by your side to survive it.

I have been wanting Gareth's story since we started the Harris Brother's series way back when. And it was worth every second of the wait.

There are 3 things:

1) I want to be part of this extended Harris family so bad 2) I want to be Sloan when I grow up - she is badass, full of love and just everything.
3) Gareth is my favourite Harris bro, and runs a close second to My Hayden in my heart.

We learn so much more about the relationship between Gareth and his father (who may or may not have redeemed himself a little to me).

Sophia, Rocky and Marisa are absolute scene stealers, and may have made this old duck (who has never, ever wanted kids) a little bit clucky! They were just completely adorable, and seeing these big bag footballers with them - swoon!

I am so sad that this series has come to an end. I want - no, I need more. Like, a book every other month. I mean, there is a new generation of Harris's now, so this should be viable, right Ms Daws?

Wonderful, heartbreaking, loving. I felt all the emotions as I was reading Dominate, and I know I will be going back real soon to reread them all again. I miss them already.

I have not read a word of Kylie Scott's that I haven't adored, and it is no different with It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time.

The subject matter may be a bit taboo to some people - girl and dad's best friend. The age different may be a bit of a problem for some people - 15 years - however none of this was a problem for me as there was nothing i felt inappropriate.

I adore Adele and that she goes for and sticks up for what she wants, even when everyone is telling her not to. She is blunt, no filter and tells it like it is. She is quirky and funny and I just want to be her friend.

Pete... oh Pete. How I adore you one minute, and want to scream at you next (and not the good type of screaming. But in the end I can't help but love you (plus, you are close to my age so woohoo, no pervy cougar feelings!)

We've all done stupid thing with / to get the attention of our crushes, right? Well, I don't think Adele was thinking things would go the way they did though.

I just wanted Adele and Pete to find their balance, their HEA - but you will need to read for yourself to find out what happens.

Wonderfully written, great characters and a fun yet emotional story. I read this book in one evening, and can't wait to see what Ms Scott brings us next.

Now, I don't read much YA - nothing against the books or the genre, however I am an old fart and these books are usually to young for me, and I feel pervy thinking the guy in it is hot, when I could be his mother.

All that up there ^^ - forget about it, as The Accidentals was so much more than just a regular YA novel.

I was expecting a cutesy high school love story, but oh was I wrong. I should have known that Sarina Bowen would never leave me at just that.

Sure, there is some cutesy-angsty-teen-love, however Rachel's story is so, so much more.

So much loss, so much pain, so much heartache. I was emotionally invested in this story from the first couple of chapters, and I didn't put this book down until I was finished.

Rachel's father, Frederick. I still haven't figured out if I love him or loath him. He can be so great, but then he can also be such a d!ck that I want to throw my kindle at him! I do adore his and Rachel's feeling each other out, trying to forge a relationship that they have never had, their walks are the best.

Sweet, tender, heartbreaking, frustrating - The Accidentals has a bit of it all, and I would love to see a bit more of Rachel and Frederick in the future.

If Ms Bowen writes more YA, I will definitely be reading it.

4.5 sexy rockstar stars!

Yay! Wheland is here!! Wheland is here!! Wheland is finally here!!!!

This is book 4 in the Rock Gods series, and while it could be read as a standalone book, why would you want to miss out on any of the m/m goodness.

Anyone that has read my reviews knows that I love a) rockstars b) m/m books. So this series is like crack to me!!

All through the series I have been wanting to know more about Mick Wheland. He has been a player in the relationships of his band mates, but now it is time for him to shine.

And boy when he gets together with Sonny "Rooster" Roostarelli, does he shine!

You know what I really loved about this pair? I loved that they are older and wiser and know what they want in life. None of this "I'm confused" or "gay for you" business. They know who they are and what they are - and they go for what they want.

I loved that we go more of the guys from the first 3 books. Their lives are so intertwined that it would not be a rock gods story without them all in and out of each other's business.

So will Mick and Sonny get their happy ending (not that sort -they get plenty of that sort!!) or will life on the road be too much for their fledgling relationship to handle?

Nope - for that you are going to have to read for yourself!

Along with Mick and Sonny/Wheland and Rooster's relationship in this book, we get an inkling into a couple of other potential relationships/books, that I am hoping we get. I am very interested to know what happens with Ashton and Dante, as well as with Tony and Jared. Things could get very interesting on those tour buses!

Ms Lister writes about relationships in such a way that you are drawn right into the lives of the characters. And it doesn't matter if it is a gay or straight relationship, love is love.

Now, hurry up and get writing, I need to know what happens with the other boys!!
