I have been impatiently waiting for El Pecador since the second I finished reading El Santo, and it was worth every second of the wait.

I knew that this book was going to be a rocky ride, but holy heck M. Robinson!

I don't want to give anything away or spoil anything for anyone, but just be prepared.

Be prepared to be shocked. Be prepared to be angry. Be prepared to be sad.

Be prepared for lots of WTF moments and for the unexpected.

I will say that I had a love/hate relationship with not only Damien, which was expected, but also with Amira. Her story really did take a turn that I was not expecting - then again, this is a M. Robinson book - I should expect the unexpected by now!

Run, don't walk to get your copy of El Pecador - you need this sinner in your life

What a fun read!

Quinn "McHotpants" and Janie have one of those quirky relationships that you can't help but hope they get together.

loved Janie' s little rambling talk, the way she goes off on her tangents, can't help but giggle along with her.

**on my reread, i had forgotten how much I love these characters **

Ms Kirby, you had me at rock star.

I didn't know much about this book at all until I started it, but it was a really enjoyable read.

We have all had that fantasy that we will get pulled up on stage at our favourite act's concert, and they would fall immediately in love with us, right?

I liked the Lexie and Oliver's story was different from the usual rock star and their vices. I was drawn into the story, the emotions ran high and felt raw and real.

There are wonderful secondary characters and I am looking forward to getting their stories in the future.

This was just pure and sweet romance, and this old duck thoroughly enjoyed it.

I knew Grayson's story was going to be a good one. I mean really, who doesn't want to read about a sexy single dad? And one in a uniform of any kind - Hellooooo!!

I was completely hooked on Sidney and Grayson's story right from the get go. I adored her tenacity, I adored his gruffness.

I loved how their story played out - she doesn't do family, and he is still not over things from when they were at school together. I wanted to shake some sense into him at times, because that stuff was years ago, and who isn't a bit of a douche when they are a teenager?

Their story is beautiful, emotional, there was a connection between myself and these characters. I needed to hurriedly turn each page, I had to know what was going to happen between them

And we can't have a single dad without a kid. And this kid, he stole my heart. He is just the most adorable kid and I want to steal him for my own.

I loved getting more of Grant and Grady and their lovely ladies. There is so much funny banter between the siblings, they made me laugh out loud a lot of times.

I love Ms Bromberg's writing. She always makes me feel involved in the lives of her characters, makes me want to be them.

It is definitely worth taking the risk and reading Worth The Risk.

This book! I thought I loved QB, however Sean was everything!

I was hooked right from the get go. Six had her very own #cockygate right at the beginning of this book, and it made me laugh so hard.

Six is the bomb1 I want to be her so much. She is funny, feisty, all that and a bag of chips!

I love how she knocks Sean down a peg or two, however I also love how he takes it all on board and goes after what he wants... Six.

I loved getting more of the Mavericks boys, especially QB! I freaking love him and Cat.

And #OhMyThatch he makes an appearance or two!

I love the push/pull between our lovelies, but ugh Six! Girl, enough with the I want him/I don't want him bizzo! I will take him off your hands in a heartbeat.

Run, don't walk to your nearest retailer, you need Sean in your life.

Firstly, I love this cover -and I am not usually one to pay much attention to covers at all.

Up until a couple of weeks ago, I had not heard of Christina Kirby. In the past 3 days I have read both books of her Survival of The Fittest series, and have added another author to my long list of series I need more of.

Whilst you could read A Light In The Dark as a stand alone, there is quite a bit you will miss about the main guy Bailey, as a lot played out in A Face In The Crowd - and besides, why would you want to miss any of it.

Carrying on a couple of years after A Face In The Crowd, Bailey's - and the rest of Survival Of The Fittest - life has changed so much.

I adored Bailey in book one, but boy did I just love him in A Light In The Dark.

I liked that this was not the usual rock star story. It is a rock star "on a break" story, struggling to find what he really wants from life.

Enter Brie. I like her. She has not time for distractions, has her life all planned down to the minutiae.

They are so different, yet so perfect for each other and I couldn't help but hope for them to be something.

A Light in The Dark was an easy read. It made me laugh, it made me tear up, the characters frustrated me, but made me fall for them.

Beautiful story, wonderful characters, I read this book in one sitting, as I just couldn't put it down.

Now I am impatiently waiting for the next in this series.

I have not read the first book in the O'Bannon Sisters series, however this did not affect my reading of The Secret Ingredient for a Happy Marriage.

Whilst I liked this story, I didn't love it. And for me I think I put that down to our leading lady Nora. I wanted to like her, but for about 80% of the story I found her rigid and unlikable. I just wanted to pull the stick out of her bum and tell her to stop being so judgemental. I could understand why she was upset, but hooley dooley she needed to eat a snickers! However, this could just be me.

I liked the way the book dealt with addiction - not the usual drugs but this time gambling.

I do like the O'Bannon women -strong and feisty. However, in this story I drifted more towards Maggie (who I am thinking is the next book in the series?) more than our leading lady Nora.

I will be reading more of this series, and am going back to read the first book soon.

I have been waiting for Violet and Bren's story forreeeevvvvveerr - well, not that long really, but it has felt like decades since I have been chomping at the bit for it.

I didn't think anything could have been better than Cade and Dante's story in this series, however Hooked On You has given it a run for its money.

This story is sweet, sexy, emotional and a little broody - and I love it. There has been attraction between this unlikely couple for a long time, and they have been circling each other, not willing to act on said attraction. You could feel the UST build up between them, and you just know things are going to be hot AF if they ever get together.

My heart ached for both our lovelies as the story progressed. They both have a lot of baggage they bring along with them, and I just wanted to hug them both.

I like to think that Violet and I would be great friends.

It am sad to see this series come to an end, as it has become a favourite.

I can't wait to see what Ms Meader bring us next.

It is not that often that a debut author comes along and you think "wow that was a debut novel"?

But that was how I felt with Storm by Carian Cole.

You all know by now I am a sucker for a rock star, but this was not your run of the mill rocker book.  In fact, there was not much of the rock star lifestyle in Storm, it was more about the man behind the rock star persona.

From the minute Storm stormed onto the pages, I just knew I was going to like him.  He took no crap, didn't bite his tongue, told it like he saw it.

Evelyn is your average girl with her life all planned out.  Average joe boyfriend, average joe sex life. Until she meets Storm.

Wow the sexual attraction between these two is off the charts!!!

I loved the bond they formed whilst they were stuck in the blizzard.  Aggravation and lust all rolled out on the backseat of a pick up truck.

I could sense right away that Storm was smitten with Evie, and could feel the confusion rolling off her - how could she feel this way when she loved her boyfriend.

Gah, don't get me started on the boyfriend.  I did not like him one bit.  I did feel one good thing about him

What did frustrate me was Evelyn's flip-flopping between Storm and Michael.  Seriously girl, make up your mind and just stop it!!  Don't have Storm's hands down your pants one minute then go "oh no I have a boyfriend"!!  Though, who could refuse his "orgasm assistance"!

I loved how Storm stuck at it.  His persistence to get Evie to be with him was what all women want in their man.  Sweet, sexy dirty talker.  Yep, can we find him on eBay?

So, will Evie finally realise what she wants is right in front of her, or will it be too late

Nope, you are going to have to read for yourself.

I really liked the secondary characters in Storm.  Well, most of them.  Juggsy I just wanted to hiss at every time she turned up on the page.  I loved that we got to know a little about Storm's band mates, his family, his friends.  We didn't learn as much about Evie family, but we get enough back story that we can get where she is coming from.

As things happen towards the end of Storm, it has made me very interested in learning more about Vandal (which is the next book in the series)

Carian Cole has given us a well developed, well written debut novel, and I look forward to reading more of her work.
