If you have read my last few reviews of Kendall Ryan books, you would see that I have been disappointed with them - especially my last read.
Fear Not! Bro Code was back on track and I really enjoyed it!
Ava and Barrett's story is sweet and sexy. There is so much chemistry betweenthe pair, longing looks across the room, UST out the wazoo!
Full of witty banter, snark, and an anaconda or two making an appearance - if you get my drift!
I loved how restrained Barrett was, how relentless Ava was in going for what she wanted - even when they both knew they shouldn't.
I liked that there was no OTT drama - yes, there were difficulties, but nothing that acting like adults couldn't fix.
I liked Ava's brother/Barrett's best friend Nick, and I hope we get more from him in the future.

Hollywood hottie? ☑
Second chance romance ☑
Drama free ☑
Yessssss! One More Time really hit the spot with me, it was just what I needed to read when I picked it up.
I love a Hollywood romance almost as much as I love a rock star romance, so it was a no brainer for me to read One More Time.
I adored Jenna and Tanner (helloooo fellow Aussie!). I loved their interaction, I love the fight and the snark between them.
But most of all, I love how they love each other. After all they have been through, that there is still attraction... sigh. It's like something from the movies... oh, wait!
I liked that this wasn't just about some shallow, Hollywood types. It delved into the emotions of our lovelies, and while they were playing the "Hollywood game", they were so much more than that.
I couldn't help but cheer them on.
Sweet, sexy, tender and emotional, One More Time ticked a lot of my boxes.

"Legend says the first person you kiss at the party is the one you'll never forget."
I am starting to shy away a little from college aged romances - nothing against the books, it is just that I am an old fart and it is a bit pervy lusting after 21 year old boys lol
Also, I know nothing about American football - other than it takes about 42 hours to play a game!
However, there are some authors that I will pick up no matter the age of the characters, and Ilsa Madden-Mills is one of them.
I DareYou is cute, sweet, sexy and a lot of fun. Delaney and Maverick are just adorable, right from the start. She is just the adorable, nerdy/geeky, Star Wars loving, As You Wishing girl.
Maverick is not what I expected him to be - and I loved that.
Together, they are just #goals.
There is a character that I hated from the first page, and yep, still hated them on the last page too. You will figure it out when you start reading too, believe me!
I am now looking forward to the next story in this series.
So run along and get your own Maverick- because this one is Maverick to my Goose.

This book. Boy, this book. I was intrigued by the blurb, but wasn't really sure what I was in for.
What I was in for was an adrenaline packed story, full of murder, political intrigue an plot twist after plot twist.
It did take me about 50 pages to get my head around who was whom, however once I had that in place I couldn't stop turning the pages.
It was a guessing game to see who the bad guys really were - I had my suspicions about half way through.
This book harked back to the days of the IRA, the terrorist attacks on Britain, the tensions between England and Northern Ireland. Our world is a highly charged political place at the moment, and who knows what our governments are really getting up to/
Killer Intent was a great change of pace from what I had been reading. Tony Kent is a new author to me, however I will be checking out more of his work in the future.

I have had this book sitting on my kindle at least 5 years (since it is that long since I put any books on the old kindle) and it is nothing to do with the book that I haven't read it yet, it is the fact I started a blog about, oooh, 5 years ago and everything has just fallen behind!
Seduce Me is a cute, sweet, tender short read that I read in one afternoon.
I adore Sam and Jack (though it was hard to think of him sexily, as there is a 16 year old Jack Knight that I work with lol). I loved their banter, I adored them finding something more with each other.
It is hard with these little short stories, as they can seem very rushed, however this one did not feel too bad. They didn't jump right into bed, they weren't whispering I love you's by chapter 2.
I liked the story, I like the characters and the story line.

Two of my favourite Aussie authors have come together to write Bittersweet.
And what a delightfully sweet story it is.
Romy and Elio's story is all kinds of cute and adorable, and right from the get go I wanted Romy to get her

I love how adorkably cute they are around each other. Watching them circle each other, neither admitting they want the other. You just want to smoosh them together.
There is a little darling of a scene stealer that will absolutely grab your heart and run away with it. I am still waiting for them to bring mine back.
I adored that there wasn't any OTT drama with this story. Sure, our lovelies had their trials, but no drama for dramas sake.
I like most of the secondary characters - believe me, there is one you will absolutely hate! You will know who they are as soon as you meet them!
I couldn't help but smile as I read Bittersweet. I laughed, I smiled, I wanted to throw my kindle at people. But most of all, I kept turning each page, needing to know what would happen next.
Bittersweet was a wonderful way to spend a few hours, lazing on the couch with a nice hot cuppa.
I hope these lovely ladies collaborate again in the future.

What a joy it was reading Hot Pursuit.
It is full of adventure, lots of humour, and just lots of fun.
Sarah and Nick's story could have fallen into the clich`d and predictable, however it didn't. It was smart and funny and kept me intrigued from the first word to the last.
I adore Sarah, I love how she goes for what she wants, I love her bite and snark when it comes to Nick.
The story is well paced, and turning each page, I never knew what trouble our lovelies were going to find them in next. The characters are well developed, and there is plenty of growth in themselves and their relationship as the story progresses.
Another thing I liked was that this story wasn't just all the romance, all the time. I mean, Sarah and Nick were in wonderful romantic cities in Europe, and at times couldn't even stand the sight of each other. There was so much more to this story than just a love story.
If you have a few spare hours and want to dive into some pure fun and escapism, read Hot Pursuit.
I can't wait to see what Ms Freeborn brings us in the future.

How have I not read N.R Walker before?
A friend was reading this one last week, and her updates made me go right away and buy the audio of this book for a road trip.
I am so glad that I picked this book up. I was hooked right from the start (though at times the British came through the Aussie accent, and it did grate a little on this Aussie) - though the narrator is a great one, and has narrated some of my favourite books.
Henry and Reed - oh how I adore the both of them. I am not going to lie, I am pretty sure I have said about 99.5% of the things Henry has said when it comes to exercise and going to the gym! If we are not related, than he at least needs to be my bestest friend in the whole wide world.
Ms Walker touches on so many issues in a real and believable way - body issues, self esteem issues, and shows that no matter who you are or what you look like, we all have these issues in some form.
I smiled most of the time reading this book - except for that time when I was driving and had tears streaming down my face. This is just one of those books that I wish I had found a long time ago, and also wish that I could read again for the first time.
It may have also inspired me to get back on my exercise bike - maybe!
I am going to go back and find whatever I can by this author, as I am pretty sure she is going to quickly become a favourite.

I have been impatiently awaiting Stellan and Sixx's story from the minute I finished reading The Farthest Edge, and Ms Ashley has not disappointed.
I knew even before I started that their story was going to be a rough ride - and that Stellan and Sixx would love it that way, as I would too.
S & S are a fascinating couple, one that I have been curious about for a long time. There were times I wanted to shake some sense into her, to stop her from doing some silly things, however I also knew why she was doing what she was doing. A right conundrum!
Stellan.... le SIGH! That man is all that and a bag of chips! I love his persistence, he was sweeter than I thought he was going to be - though I guess I knew he was going to have to be all kinds of wonderful to win over Sixx.
Their journey together was both heartbreaking and beautiful.
I love love love that we got more of the Leigh and Olly (though, still can't connect with Leigh at all) and Branch and Evangeline and the sexploits of the Honey.
I did find myself skimming in the last 15% of the book - nothing to do with S & S, I just thought that there was too much time given to some very minor characters.
The Greatest Risk is a wonderful ending to the Honey series. Now I can't wait to see what Ms Ashley brings us next.
