It has been a few years since I have read a Season Vining story, and it was great to get back into her world.
There were a lot of things I liked about Chaos and Control, like the way she dealt with Preston's issues, the way Wren accepted him as he was, the way Wren was the chaos to Preston's control. Wren's character development
However Wren - oy, that girl. She frustrated me no end. She was a spoilt 21 year old brat! After what she has been doing for the past years, I would have been a lot more mature. I did like her by the end of the story, however it took me a long time to get there.
I adore the push/pull between them. I adore Wren's interactions with her sister - well most of the time, when she wasn't being the pot and the kettle!
Preston made this book for me. All his quirks just endeared him to me right from the start.
I look forward to seeing what Ms Vining has for us next.

And we are back on Whisper Island and another fantastic installment of the Murder Club Mystery series.
I love getting away with a little murder, mystery and intrigue. Though I am starting to suspect that Whisper Island is the new Midsomer, as murders abound there!
PI Maggie Doyle and her partner Lenny are in the thick of it - again! She is such a murder magnet, and you can't help but feel for her when she gets caught up in it all - again!
I adore Maggie. Can't help but love her and her ragtag bunch of family and friends. Lenny is just hilarious! And that Liam Reynolds fella - swoon!
Once again Ms Keane throws red herring after red herring at us, and it is not until the last minute that she let's us know whodunnit. I am usually pretty good at picking the culprit, but with hers I am never quite sure.
Rebel Without a Claus is a different kind of Christmas story - and it is one that I will read again before Santa comes to visit.
Fun and mysterious , I can't wait for the next Movie Club Mystery to hit my kindle.

Sigh.
That's how I always feel after finishing a Melissa Foster book. You know what you are going to get, and that feeling is always there.
Bridgette and Bodhi's story is sweet and sexy and heartwarming - however it is so much more than that.
I love that neither of them are looking for anything, but it falls in their laps, and we see them fight for what they want - even when they are not 100% sure of what that is themselves.
I do like a moody, gruff military man. The fact that this one has a romantic streak that you won't expect make him all the better. And when he is with Bridgette's little boy - ovaries explode!
I liked that things were not OTT dramatic. Our lovelies issues are realistic, nothing that any of us might not come up against at some time in our lives.
There are great secondary characters - this series of books is the stories of the Dalton siblings. Some of the siblings did blend together a bit, but once I got my head around them I was fine.
Sweet, sexy and adorable, Only For You was a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
I can't wait to see where this series goes next.

Two words - LOVED IT!
Lilliana Anderson has done it again with Never Again. Cora and Brandon's story is one of inevitable love. No matter what they say or do, you just know that their story is going to be epic.
There is so much emotion, you just cannot help but feel right along with Cora.
Bran is just...

I really, really didn't like her cheating ar5e of a husband. Oh my goodness he is a piece of work. Not going to lie, some things she did to him - well, I might have really wanted to do too - but more.
Bran is the guy we all need in our lives. Young, hot, and completely enamoured with Cora, but there is so much more to him that I tripped and fell in love with him right from the start.
I freaking LOVE Cora's best friend Olivia. She is the kind of best friend every girl needs in her life. She made me laugh so hard at times.
I was completely swept away in this book. It is sweet, and sexy, and all kinds of complicated. And I couldn't put it down once I started.
Now I am off to find a Bran of my own. Wish me luck!

This is only my second read of the Original Heartbreakers series, and adored it.
The king of the one night stand and the woman who has sworn off relationships. You know this is going to go one of two ways. Actually, being a Gena Showalter story, you know which way it is going to go, it is just the ride we are taken on to get there.
I adore Lyndie and Brock. The chemistry between them is off the charts. They are both a little broken, and it was wonderful to see them meet in the middle and have a wonderful marriage... of convenience.
Right from the start you know that this is going to be fun and flirty and sexy. You can't help but fall in love along with Brock and Lyndie as they figure out whether they are "enough" for each other.
There are great secondary characters from the previous books. I love when the girls get together, the laughter and banter is wonderful. And watching these alpha guys fall like trees in the forest has been great!
There are some characters that I wanted to slap across the face with my kindle I disliked them so much. But watching them get theirs was awesome.
There has been so much goodness in the books of this series that I have read, I need to go back and start this series from the beginning, I know I won't regret it.

Saddle up for Harper Sloan's new Coming Home series, because we are going to be in for a bumpy ride.

This is the 3rd and final book in the Coming Home series, and by far my favourite.
Clayton has been the grumpy brother cowboy throughout the series, and all along I have wanted, no needed to know more.
Caroline is so the opposite to Clayton but boy do those sparks fly between them and there is this amazing insta-lust that sets the air around them on fire
Both Clay and Caroline are a little bit broken, and it is wonderful to see them put each other back together. Clay is all kinds of swoonworthy, and even though I think that horses are the beasts of Satan, I wanted to saddle up for that ride.
There is some mystery playing out through the story, and while I had an idea of whodunnit, I wasn't completely sure until Ms Sloan revealed all.
I love love loved getting more of the couples from the earlier books. Loved the glimpses into their lives.
Cowboy Up is a sweet, sexy, and beautiful story. The insta-emotional connection between our lovelies just made the journey they were on so much better to be on with them.
I really enjoyed the Coming Home series, and can't wait to see what Ms Sloan brings us next.

Miracle at Christmas was the perfect little escape to Christmas, CO that this girl needed last night.
I have loved the books in the series that I have read so far (need to go back and read a few) and I couldn't wait to get back there.
While the premise isn't new (in either Christmas or non season books and movies) Ms Mason put her own sweet twist in the tale that had me devouring the story. I couldn't help but get swept away with Charlotte and Matt and the folks of Christmas. You will have your fingers and toes crossed that a Christmas miracle will set things right.
And Charlotte finally standing up and taking no crap from nobody? You go girl!
I LOVED getting more of the Christmas locals, they had me laughing and smiling as I read.
Just the thing that I needed to get me into that Christmas spirit.

Not going to lie, I almost gave up on this one.
I loved the drama and tension in the first book, but this time around it just felt like we were going around and around in the same circle for 50% of the book.
I really, really, really disliked both Katya and Wulf in this one. I wanted to slap them both around the head with my kindle, all the while telling Liam to run for his life to get away from their toxicity.
I did something I never do whilst reading this one - I skipped ahead to read the final chapter when only about 40% in. I am glad I did, as I didn't mind speed reading/skipping through some chapters.
I am really liking the 3rd book in the series though.

This was my first Stylo Fantome read, but it definitely won't be my last.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading, but I was hooked right from the start.
Katya, Liam and Wulf's story is sexy and messed up and confuzzling, and I couldn't wait to turn each page.
As the story continued I was getting frustrated with Katya and just wanted her to make up her darn mind.
But then, woah, now that was some messed up, nasty shit. Wasn't expecting that.
Lucky I had the next book lined up ready to read as I needed to see what would happen next.
