After reading the first book in this series, One Week To The Wedding, I knew that Charlotte's story was going to be an emotional one.
And Olivia Miles did not disappoint.
Putting your life back together, earning back the trust of family and friends, moving on with life is never easy, and even harder when you want to do it on your own, without asking for help.
I adore Charlotte, even through all her stubbornness. I want to give her a big hug (but also at the same time tell her to ask for help!)
I am not going to lie, there may have been a little tear or two as the story progressed. I just couldn't help it as my heart ached for Charlotte and her sweet little girl. I couldn't help but cheer for her though as she really did find herself moving on in life.
The Winter Wedding Plan is a sweet, adorable story about giving ourselves and others second chances - at forgiveness, at family, at love.
There is some great set up for what I am hoping will be the 3rd book in the Misty Point series, as I need Charlotte's cousin Bree to find her forever guy.
Can't wait to see what Ms Miles brings us next.

Hockey hottie? Check!
Friends to more? Check!
Christmas? Check!
I am a sucker for a hockey story. Put hockey in the blurb and I will one click that thing faster than you can say "mine!"
I have adored the earlier books in the Colorado Ice series that I have read so far (I have missed a couple but will be going back to them) however I think that Maybe this Christmas is now my favourite.
I adore the friends-to-fwb-to more storyline. I adore that it is not all about how great the guy is on the ice. I adore that is is about our lovelies finding their way to more, that there is more to life than sport, that you have to do what is right for you, not for anyone else.
I did get a little frustrated with Asher at times though - he was a bit of a dunce when it came to things other than hockey (most of the time anyway).
And then there is Emma's sister. OMG the more the story continued, the more I really did come to dislike her. She redeemed herself with me with about 10% of the book left, but OMG I wanted to throw my kindle at her!
Maybe The Christmas was just the thing to start getting me in the festive mood, and now I can't wait to see what Ms Snow brings us next.

Follows right on from 2.1
In this episode...
In the aftermath of the Vegas mess, Keatyn gets everyone together to sort out the mess that has been left in the wake of the wild night. What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.
A great D & M between Vanessa and Keatyn gets me right on board with wanting Vanessa and Dawson to make things happen.
Oh Riley.. my heart so wants things to work out for him with Ariela - have loved this pair since Keatyn Chronicles, and will always want more for them.
Can't wait for the next episode to see where things go.....

We get 2 for the price of one with Second Chance Girl. We met Violet and Carol Lund in the first book of this new series, and now we get both of their HEAs!
I am new to the Susan Mallery worlds, however I am already pretty addicted to the people of Happily Inc. Those Mitchell brothers really are kinda something.
This is Mathias' story, and what a story it is. It is fun, it is flirty, it is cute and adorable, but it has its fair share of darkness and sadness.
Carol Lund is soooo the right woman for Mathias - even if she doesn't think she is good enough for him. Oy, she is so much more than she thinks she is.
The scene stealer in this story though is Millie - the giraffe! I have never wanted to own a giraffe so much in my life!!
Add to this Carol's sister Violet and her surly Duke, Ulrich and you have more than enough to keep our romantic hearts aflutter.
It may just be me, but as I was reading I was hoping that this would just be a lead in to Violet's story and we would get a whole book about her and the Duke, alas it was not to be.
The more of this series I read, the more I really really dislike the Mitchell father. He is an ar$e and every time he is on the page, the urge to throw my kindle across the room rises!
I really have become involved in the lives of the Happily Inc crew, and can't wait to see what comes next.

It is always a good day when a new Kim Karr story turns up on your kindle.
Now, I am not a football fan at all (soooo don't understand it!) but I dived right into this one.
I am not sure if it was my state of mine (I had been sickish for days) or if it was just this one book, however I really struggled to get started with Hot Stuff. Once I got about 30% in I was fine, but I did put this one down a few times and it took me a few days to read it - but this is probably just all me!
Once I got going, I really enjoyed Lucas and Gillian's story. Hot Stuff is funny, sexy, adorable with a bit of sadness thrown in too.
It took me a while to connect with both Lucas and Gillian, again this could just be my mind set as I was reading.
I adored the forbidden, taboo-ness of their relationship - it's nothing bad, but you can understand why it is frowned up. I just wanted them to decide if what they had was going to be enough for them.
And to find out, you have to read for yourself.
Whilst I did like Hot Stuff, I just didn't love it like I have with other books of Ms Karr. It was a case of it's not you, it's me with this one.
I look forward to seeing what Ms Karr brings us next.

Whilst the first two books in this series have been Lek-and-Greer-centric, this novella installment focuses on Tas and Aran.
We got a taste of things to come for Tas and Aran during Stolen, but then we had that ending to that installment, and things are all up in the air - again.
This was quite a departure from the first two installments. This was more about loss, grief, rebuilding - not just relationships.
There is enough of the Lek and Greer storyline to get us through to the final installment of the series - Found - but now more than before I am impatiently waiting to find out what happens to our lovelies!

This is the final book in the Bliss series, and you will have to have read parts 1, 2 and 3.
Things were all up in the air at the end of book 3 - who was alive? Who was dead?
So many questions left unanswered, I just knew that Ms Paton was going to take us on one hell of a rollercoaster ride with this final installment.
And did she ever. So many times, things were not what they seemed!
Told from both Greer and Lek's POV over a period of several years, we are carried away on a journey, hoping so much for Greer and Lek's reunion. Gah, I just wanted them to be together right from the start, so there was frustration, tears, laughs and love in my heart as I kept reading,
So, will Lek and Greer find each other again? Can their love survive all the challenges that are thrown at them?
For that you are going to have to read for yourself.
Ms Paton writes with such emotion, such imagery. You could almost feel yourself in the jungle, smell the smells, taste the fear in her characters. I loved it all!
Thank you Ms Paton for giving us your amazing stories, and I can't wait to read more.

Yes!
Get set to get your engine revved, as Racer Tate is in the house!
At first when I started reading, I was sure that the parentage of our main guy was wrong - surely this was Colton Donovan (from K Bromberg's Driven series) son.
Then the Remy came out in full force, and yep, Racer sure is Remy's boy! All grown up and rawwwwr!
I love books set around motor racing - I used to work the track and with teams, so it is a little bit of nostalgia for this old duck!
I adored Racer. It is like Remy and Brooke, 30 years down the track. Racer has so many of his father's traits that it is like he is living Remy's life for a while, searching for his own Brooke!
Lana is sweet, adorable, and goes after what she wants - and she wants racer (girl, don't blame you one bit!) Together you just can't help but love Racer and Lana and need them to get to their HEA.
I love Lana's family. The family that plays together stays together, and this is one tight knit family. I hope we get more of Lana's brothers sometime in the future.
Whilst I did adore this story, I was just hoping for something a little... more. Something darker or deeper throughout. But this is probably just me.
Sweet, sexy and adorable, Racer was just what I needed.

I adored Noah Thompson in the first book in the Fix series, however it was his hermit-like brother Asher that piqued my interest.
Fix Me Not can be read as a stand alone, but why would you want to miss any of this goodness.
Asher Thompson is all manly man - I can imagine him smelling like wood shavings and sweat (but not in the stinky way, none of our book men would ever stink!!)
Enter Paige - now, not going to lie here. It did take me a while to warm up to her (though that was the way we are supposed to feel I guess). I ended up adoring her - and you will too!
I love that Fix Me Not is pretty much angst free - sure, our lovelies are a little, not broken but definitely bent - but there is no big drama for drama's sake. Sure, there are issues but they deal with them like adults.
I adored getting more of Noah and Finley from Fix Her Up, getting those glimpses of where they are now.
I also adore learning more about Asher's family. My heart is hurting for his sister Abby, and I need her to get her HEA, Stat!
The Fix series is cute and sweet and full of love. Can't wait to see where we are taken next.

Yes, back in Heartbreaker Bay, and Christmas - what's not to love!
I adore the guys and gals from this series, and it is never a hardship to jump back in and read a new book. Ms Shalvis seamlessly throws these characters together, and you can't help but fall for each and every one of them.
Colbie and Spence are no different. From Colbie's first awkward airport moments to the last word, I was hooked. These lovelies were so similar, there was no way that they weren't perfect for each other.
You know what they say about assumptions, right? This plays out wonderfully when Spence and Colbie first meet.
Colbie is all kinds of cute and adorable, with a healthy dose of nuttiness that we have come to love from Ms Shalvis' ladies.
Spence - well hello sir! What is not to love about this guy?
I loved that we got more of the couples from the previous books in the series. Even though I feel that this could be read as a stand alone, why would you want to miss any of their antics?
Chasing Christmas Eve was just the thing to get into the Christmas mood. However, now all I want to do for Christmas is fly to San Fran and find myself at their fountain!
Can't wait to see what Ms Shalvis brings us next.
