Oh Hector!
Each and every time I tell myself that I can't love the KA guy more than the last.

An Aislie Paton book is like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get.
I love that they are a little bit left of centre, that the characters are quirky and fun.
Whilst The Love Experiment is a little more "normal" than her other works, I adored it just as much.
You can't help but love both Derelie (rhymes with merrily!) and Jack. Their relationship is not all fun and games, and you know it is going to be a loooong time before they maybe find their HEA.
This story is full of snark, witty banter, laughter and sparks. Oh the sparks, do they fly! The UST between our lovelies could start a bushfire!
There is also a cat with attitude, that even this dog lover couldn't help but adore.
I really enjoyed The Love Experiment, and can't wait to see what Ms Paton brings us next.

Carmen Jenner, you had me at hockey!
Puck Love is a sweet, sexy story of the clash of two worlds. And Miss Jenner does it well
Van Ross, superstar hockey hottie, and Stella Hart, Nashville's sweetheart have absolutely nothing in common except fame, however this is what made them perfect together.
Right from the start, I couldn't help but feel for Stella, and all I can say is good on her for doing what she did.
The minute we meet Van and his interactions with his brother.... ovary explosion. Holy heck, you would have to have a heart of stone to not fall head over heels for him right then and there!
There is just something about a man who loves his family like he does that gets me.
And I couldn't help but get that Carrie and Mike vibe from this story.
I like this change of tack with Ms Jenner's writing. I have adored everything that she has written to date. This softer, sweeter side (with a lot less ripping my heart out) is exactly what I needed, and something we get a lot more of.
Now, Ms Jenner, please tell me that we will be getting Eli's story soon?
I can't wait to see what Ms Jenner brings us next.

"You bury me"
You never know what is behind that white picket fence, do you?
What could be the perfect family could be full of secrets and lies and who knows what else.
I was excited to receive an early copy of Without Merit - I mean, Colleen Hoover hasn't done me wrong yet. And even though I am not one to read YA/teenage aged books (cos let's face it, I am an old fart and I am waaaaay past all that teen angst), I will always, and I mean always read CoHo's books.
Merit Voss' story is not all unicorns and cotton candy. It is a little weird, a little dark, a little warped -and I loved every second of it.
Her family is all kinds of whacked. I mean hoolie doolie, I don't want to give anything away but they are fifty shades of dysfunctional!!
I went through the whole gamut of emotions as I read Without Merit. Merit wormed her way into my heart right from the start, and I couldn't keep the emotions in. I laughed, I cried, I yelled at my kindle and threw it across the room. Ms Hoover just has that way with her writing, and even though I know she is going to rip my heart out and drag is through hell, I have to turn each page.
I don't want to spoil anything, as I feel that every CoHo book reader needs to go into a book a little bit blind.
Just be prepared for the unexpected.
I can't wait to see what she brings us next.
PS I loved that her little charity bookstore makes an appearance!

♫ I don't give a damn about your bad reputation ♫
I have been singing that song since this book turned up on my kindle weeks ago (I know, I changed the lyrics slightly but whatever!)
I am a sucker for a hockey book, but throw in a friends to lovers story and am all in.
I adored Chase and Cassie's relationship - in all forms! I love the bite and snark, and oh my gosh the sexual tension between them - you could cut it with a knife!
Now, as you read, it doesn't take you long to know where things are going to end up, and how they are going to get there, however that does not take away from the story at all.
I adored their families - especially Chase's. There were great secondary characters whom I hope we learn more about in future books in the Bad Boys series.
Can't wait to see what Ms Edwards brings us next.

As this series has progressed, I have become more and more intrigued with George Reilly and how he ended up on the streets of Darling, VT.
This Christmas novella was perfect for me.
Learning more about George was both heartbreaking and uplifting. He has dealt with so much more than I ever thought, and when that past comes to find him in Darling, my heart hurt for him.
But that past was just what he needed to confront to move on.
I don't want to give anything about about who and what happens, as this is something the reader needs to discover for themselves, but believe me, you won't be disappointed.
Deck The Halls was a sweet story, just in time to start getting me into the Christmas spirit.
Can't wait to see where Ms Alward takes us next.

I am not going to lie, I did pause before requesting this book, as I did have my issues with the first book in the series (nothing to do with the relationship, more to do with the man!).
However I am glad that I did request, as I really did enjoy this second book.
In the first book, our leading alpha was more secretary than SEAL, and that was where my disappointment came from.
Happy to say that our sniper in a suit is much more SEAL (and who doesn't love a SEAL??)
Lucas Tate,as much as he frustrated me with his mercurial behaviour, I couldn't help but want to hug him.
And when he is with Grace, his friend' widow, well then things get all kinds of confuzzled!
I adore them together, they are both that little bit broken, and they could be just what each other needs to heal. If heads get removed from rectums!
The Wicked Billionaire is frustrating, it is mysterious, it is sexy, it is funny. Much better than the first book, and now I am intrigued for the 3rd Tate brother's story -the epilogue has me impatient for it!

It’s that time again, when the snow covered Christmas novels start to hit the Kindle… and I love it!
This is the final book in the Briar Creek series, but it could be read as a stand alone (but why would you want to miss the goings on in this town?)
Since I started this series, Kara Hastings book is the one I have been waiting for. She has finally taken the bull by the horns and started her own business - you go girl! We have watched her struggle to be what she really wants to be through the series, so this put a big smile on my dial.
Nate ... oh what is there not to love about Nate? He is kinda swoony - when he is not being an arrogant ass! But we quickly see through that to the man he is, or at least the man he could be.
The attraction, the banter, the push/pull between Kara and Nate had me feeling quite giddy, knowing that these two adorable people would eventually get their act together.
I love the people of Briar Creek, and I am really going to miss them and their shenanigans.
Christmas Comes To Main Street is a sugary, sweet, cute romance. There is no angst, just straight up romance, and reading it is a heck of a way to get yourself into the Christmas spirit.
I can't wait to see what Ms Miles delivers next (hopefully not something that has me wanting to eat cookies all day every day and make me put on 5kg!!)

It is always a bittersweet moment when you get to the end of an amazing series.
I have fallen hard for the guys and gals of The Beat and The Pulse series, and enjoy every bloodthirsty visit to The Underground.
Blade and Ali's story had me hooked from the start. The feelings, the emotional connect I had with Ali, the wanting the hunka hunka burning love that is Blade/Liam. They are everything neither of them wanted, and I adored seeing the changes they made in each other.
There is just something about an Amity Cross story that drags me in every single time. I can't help but fall for each and every new couple as the series is released.

Move over Ethan Mason, Matt Stallworth is in the house!
This is the second book in this series by Mr Howell, and can be read as a stand alone (however you will want to read about Jenny and Ethan).
Kelsey and Matt really are a case of opposites attract. It is full of witty banter, instattraction and fun. It was a very sweet and sexy story - oh, the sexual tension between them could be cut with a knife *fanning myself*.
I loved that they didn't just fall in bed with each other right from the get go. It is not really a slow burn, but it is not all wham bam either. Their story takes time to grow into something more.
I love the interactions between Matt and Ethan, as well as Kelsey and Jenny. True friendships.
Scored is a quick, sexy read, and now I am waiting to see what Mr Howell brings us next.
