Yes! Back to Whisper Island we go for another murder mystery.
I swear, this island is like Midsomer from the TV shop - you want to visit because it looks lovely, but you don't because, well, murders!
Maggie now has a fresh off the presses PI licence, and is putting it to good use - though not how she was expecting. She is like a murder magnet!
Maggie and her zany bunch of family and friends embark on solving another murder mystery, with all the fun and antics that only this group can bring.
I loved that through it all, Maggie and her sexy Garda Liam are becoming closer and can't wait to see where things go with them.
Lenny, as always, is zany and out there, and just completely and utterly lovable!
What I like with Ms Keane's murder mysteries is that I never know who the killer is untilshe reveals it. Sure, I have my guesses, but there are plenty of red herrings in there that throw us off the scent. And I love it.
I also adore the old movies that the books are named after. It makes me go back and want to rewatch movies that I haven't seen in years.
Now I am impatiently waiting for book 4 to hit my kindle.

Reading an Ainslie Paton book is kind of like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates - you never know what you are going to get, but duh, it is chocolate, you know you are going to like it!
Hoodwinked Hearts is a fast paced, sexy and sultry book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Novellas can sometimes feel rushed, however that was not the case with Hoodwinked Hearts.
It is a well paced, well rounded second chance at love story - but is there honour amongst thieves, and can they trust each other.
I was hooked from the minute our lovelies Cleve and Aria's story started, and couldn't wait to turn each page to see where they would end up.
Thanks for another different and exciting book Ms Paton. I can't wait to see what you bring us next

Gimme gimme gimme - that's me every time a new Lauren Blakely book is on the horizon.
What would happen if How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days met The Back Up Plan.
That is kind of the premise of this friends-to-parents-to-lovers story.
I just loved everything about this story. It is sweet, sexy, funny and a whole lotta hot.
I feel that I could be best friends with Nicole - she is smart, sassy, funny and knows what she wants and will do what she has to get it.
Ryder is all kinds of hot and sexy and swoonworthy - yes, definitely got my swoon on reading this.
It is adorable watching these friends fall for each other - even though neither of them wants or expects anything more than some hot AF baby making.
I was hooked from the first "O" to the last. This is what Ms Blakely does. She lures you in and has you rabidly reading until the wee hours of the morning, just to know what is happening with her lovelies.
Now I am impatiently waiting for what she will bring us next.

I am not going to lie - this little blogger is an old fart, and does not read much YA - I kinda feel a bit pervy thinking the guys are hot when I am old enough to be their mum!
This was my first Jessie L Star read, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked it up, however I was hooked from the first word to the last.
It is a book full of emotion, guilt, hope. I was not expecting the depth of emotion that I felt throughout the book - not sure why, but probably because of the age of the characters?
Lara is pretty much a one of a kind. She has her guilt from the past guiding her future, and whilst I love what she was doing, I am with the other characters in the book when I tell her it is not healthy.
Fletch. Oh Fletch. Through all the have been through, he has been quite the constant. Constant pain in the ar$e at times, but he was always there, no matter what. I don't know why he kept coming back, but I also understood why he couldn't stay away.
There is a great love/hate, push/pull between Lara and Fletch and you just know that they aren't going to be able to fight it forever.
There are some great secondary characters that really round out this story - particularly Merry and Lizzy. I would love to be their friends.
This was the first book by Ms Star that I have read, and I will be going back to check out her other works in the future.

It's been a while since we have been in the Beautiful world, however it has definitely been worth the wait.
This is Ruby's story, and her story is not all rainbows and butterflies. It is hurt, and pain and fear, all rolled into a big ball - then surrounded with love and hope and friendship.
Enter Flynn - all fun and flighty - or is he? He was all kinds of fun and laughter, but he was also just what the doctor prescribed for Ruby - even if she didn't know it and didn't like it.
Gah, Ruby. Girl, you frustrated me at times. She was such a b!tch so much of the time. Yes, I understood her hesitance and where her lashing out came from, but damn girl, saucer of milk? Her venom towards Flynn was over the top to say the least, and it did make me not like her much at times.
But then her vulnerability shone through and it make me take that feeling down a notch.
I love the secondary characters, especially Ruby's room mate - she was the calming force that Ruby needed around her.
I loved getting snippet of the characters from the other books, and especially love that this is set in my home city Sydney. I have been to the places in this book many a time over the year so it makes it so much easier to picture things - though Ms Anderson writes with such wonderful imagery that anyone can get a great picture in their minds.
Thank you Ms Anderson for another wonderful story, I can't wait to see what you bring us next.

Yesssss!! We are back in WAGs world, and this girl couldn't be happier!
We did meet Matt in the first book, Good Boy, however you can read Stay without having read it first - but why would you want to miss out on any of the goodness?
Matt and Hailey's story, well I just loved it. From broken marriages to sexy strangers, this book had a bit of everything. The fact that Matt is a hockey hottie doesn't add to his charms at all (pffff yeah right lol)
I love the to and fro between our lovelies. I adore that they didn't meet in the usual way -sure, it was through an app but not like you'd think!
Hailey is just too sweet, the way she gets all tongue tied and clumsy around Matt - just makes her that much more relatable. And Matt is all kinds of swoonworthy.
I LOVE that we got more of people from the earlier book and the Him series. I adore Wesmie and Blake had me laughing out loud.
Sigh... I have not long read the book and already I am missing them all.
Please Ms Bowen and Ms Kennedy, please don't make us wait too long for more of their goodness.

This is the 3rd in the Harmony Harbor series, and whilst you could get away with reading it as a standalone, there are characters and parts of timelines that to carry through the whole series.
I have enjoyed the past 2 book in the series, however I think that this has become my favourite. Those Gallagher brothers sure do know how to get those hearts afluttering.
This is Finn's story - the doctor who was injured whilst working with Doctors Without Borders.
I wasn't sure what to think of Finn at first. He was such a Judgey McJudgerso towards our darling Olivia, and for a while there, I really didn't like the guy.
But of course I knew Ms Mason would turn that around quicksmart. I could understand his want to get back out of Harmony Harbor, but could also feel the pull he had to the place.
Olivia - oh my goodness my heart broke for her. Repeatedly. Hiding in plain sight, she kept rolling with the punches that life had thrown at her - and I admired the heck out of her for it.
I loved that we got the players from the earlier books, snippets of their lives now, the ghostly manouverings of the Gallaghers great-grandmother, the bickering that families always have.
Whilst the storyline was a little predictable (but you know what you are going to get going into a Debbie Mason book) there were some twists and turns thrown into the mix.
The story is well paced, flowed seamlessly and drew me in from the first word.
Now I can't wait to see what Ms Mason brings use next.

I have not read the first book in the Rocky Mountain Riders series, however this did not affect my enjoyment of book 2.
Comeback Cowboy, as the title probably gives away, is a sweet, contemporary second chance romance.
Naoim and Lucas' relationship is beyond complicated. Throw other people - especially in a small town - into the mix and it could be a down right mess.
However Naomi takes them all on head on and holds her head high, for herself and her daughter Gracie - who is just too cute for words. I love that she doesn't ask or want help - but is not so stubborn to reject help that is offered.
I get the small town vibe of this book - I live in a town where if you sneeze, the next day the gossip mill has you on your death bed, so I could completely empathise with how the characters felt.
Whilst the plot of the story is nothing new - good guy, bad luck, loses the girl, wants the girl back - the execution of Comeback Cowboy that kept me anxiously turning each page.
I love the secondary characters in this book, particularly Lucas' brothers, and now can't to see where the series goes next - and I will go back and read the first book!

The Legend starts right up where book 2 ends, so you will need to have read the other 2 books in the Sons of Texas series before picking this one up.
I have been waiting for Wyatt and Callie's story, however the romance takes a back seat in this action packed, suspenseful installment of this series.
All the tensions that have been building up, all the people out for the Loughman family, come together in a perfect storm of danger - though at times I struggled a little bit remembering who was with whom, who was the bad guy. who could be trusted. But it did all come together for me, so it is probably just me at the time of reading.
I adore the Loughman family - as fractured and dysfunctional is they may be.
A lot was tied up by the end of this book, but I was also left with much more I needed to know. The ending left this open for more books, so I hope we do get more in the future.

I have been impatiently waiting for Tied since the minute I finished reading book one, Torn.
And it was worth every single second of the wait.
From the first word to the last, I was a hooked, emotional mess.
Word to the wise - have tissues close by for some of this!
Tyler and Holly's stories aren't easy. They aren't fun and lighthearted. They are both broken, empty, alone. The only shining light in their lives is each other.
My heart was broken over and over by their story - to be slowly pieced back together. Their friendship slowly grows to more and they can finally repair their damaged lives.
For a second chance at life. For a chance at love.
"Second chances make people more grateful and make them pour more love and care into what they thought they'd lost forever."
I love every single little thing about Tyler and Holly's story. The hurt, the anger, the love.
There were however people that I didn't like - and I really don't think we we were supposed to. I don't want to say who but I am sure you will feel the same about them.
Carian Cole - you ruined me with Tied. 2 days later and I am still a wreck thinking about it.
Well played!
Now I am impatient for whatever she brings us next.
