And another Mayson bites the dust! This time it is Nico and Sophie's boy Sage.

Ms Reynolds is the queen of the boom - instalove is her forte. Now, whilst I am not a huge fan of the insta-love, I am a huge fan of this author and this series.

I felt that Sage and Kimberly's story wasn't as I-Lovey as other books. Sure there was that instant spark, the insta-lust, but I liked that their story developed more organically, even as they were circling each other.

The emotion, the lust, the love. This story had it all. I would go from laughing to tears all in the space of a few chapters.

Sage is all kinds of goodness. I loved that even when he was p!ssed off with Kimberly, she was always his BOOM

"It was you. You ruined me for anyone else. You didn't even know you were doing it but did it all the same."

Can you say swoon?

Sage and Kimberly are both very strong characters that never let things beat then. In fact, Sage's dadsy Nico has always been my favourite of the Mayson's, but I have to tell you, I think sonny boy is going to give him a run for his money in the long run!

Ms Reynolds really does know how to do the Alpha-Boom, and I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

This series really does just keep getting better and better.

I didn't think anybody would take over my love of Cole and Ty in A Mended Man, but Dratyon and Vann have pulled up into equal first place in my heart.

Some of us are lucky to find our soul mate. Some of us are lucky to find them young. Drayton and Vann found each other as teenagers, and through everything that has kept them apart, their love have remained strong.

Ms Reese grabbed me around the heart from the first chapter of A Worthy Man. My heart ached for these beautiful men. Theirs really is an epic love, a love to survive the ages.

Whilst our lovelies had overcome the biggest of their hurdles in their separation, there are still roadblocks popping up.

I LOVE that they stayed strong, that we got to be taken on them as they find out the men they are today.

"The only positive of being away from you for so long is that I now get to enuoy falling for you all over again."

Le sigh.

A Worthy Man is full of such beautiful moments.

It put a big smile on my face as Vann came out of his shell, became the man he was on the road to being all those years ago. Growing into the man that Dray loves more each and every day.

I really don't think I have the words to do this book justice, to convey how much I really did love Dray and Vann and their story.

I love it. Go buy it. Read it.

Firefighters? Heck yeah, time to set my house on fire

Curve Ball was not really what I was expecting. Though I am not sure really what I was expecting.

Curve Ball is a cute and sweet romance. And pretty tame and pure (probably says a lot more about what I read than the book that I point this out!)

Ella and Coen's story is very sweet. The single mum, ostracised by the town she lives in, and the firefighter who can't help but be drawn to her. They are about the only characters in the book that I really liked.

Ella's best friend is a b!tch whom I really disliked from the minute she turned up on the page - a feeling that wasn't wrong

The town - now, I live in a small town and know the dynamics when you move into a small town, however this town was like a cross between The Stepford Wives and The Scarlet Letter. OMG the people, they all needed to be high fived... in the face... with 4x2. They are horrible, horrible people that I may have yelled at as I was reading.

Most of the time, I really did feel that I wanted to scream at Ella to grow a set and tell the people in this town to STFU. The way she cowered from any confrontation - yes I kind of understood why, but knew that things would have been better if she fought back. Gah!

I adored Ella's boy Hayden - he really does steal the scene every time.

So whilst Curve Ball may have been a little tame for me, it is a cute and adorable romance.

Ms Jamieson, you had me at SEAL.

It is no secret that I am a sucker for a SEAL book, Whilst I haven't read the first book inthe Last Call series (how did I miss that??) this did not take anything away from Hot Shot.

I liked the push/pull between Marco and Carrie, though at times they both individually frustrated me.

At times, they felt weak, like they were teenagers rather than the smart and successful adults they are (but this could just be me). They were so down on themselves most of the time and I wanted to clonk their heads together to knock some sense into them.

The banter between Marco and Carrie was fun and flirty, with a share of dirty talk thrown in for good measure. Their chemistry is of the charts.

I loved the relationships between Marco and his 2 SEAL best friends, Beck and Cade, as well as between Carrie and her best girl Hayden.

Now I need to go back to read book 1, and can't wait to see who takes Cade off the market.

I have been impatiently waiting Silent Defender, and the wait was definitely worth it.

It should be no surprise to anyone who reads my reviews that I am hooked on hockey books - I have read and reviewed plenty of them over the years!

However Silent Defender was a little more to me than just a hockey hottie books. The fact that our main guy is deaf made it more special to me, as my nephew was born moderately deaf, and I have seen his struggles over the years.

Magnus is just all kinds of swoony.

Jennie is all kinds of different to other reporters, and has Mags all kinds of tied in knots about her.

I adore their relationship, the ups and downs, the love an laughter.

I also love the comradery between Mags and his team mates - we have met Cage before, and love that he has crossed over into this new series.

Thank you Ms Worrell for this different take on a hockey-hottie. I can't wait to see where the series goes next.

Today I have popped my Mia Asher cherry with Love Me In The Dark - I know, I know, I haven't been under a rock all this time time, I know about her books but just finding time to read them has been the problem!

This is a sweet, sexy, sometimes sad but always hopeful story. Valentina is at a cross roads in her life and relationship. Her hubby is a d!ck, no other words for him, and she is on a journey of self discovery in Paris. You can't help but feel hopeful for her, but at times she annoyed me just a little.

Well, maybe a lot, since at one point I wanted to crawl into the book and clonk her over the head with my Kindle to knock some sense into her.

And by sense I mean Sebastian, the sexy french artist who is now her neighbour. He is all kinds of swoony and sexy and french - though the smoking thing is a bit of a turn off (but this could just be me).

I said before the Valentina's husband William is a d!ck. Well, the more the story progressed, the more and more I disliked him. And then we got some chapters from his POV and there really was not one redeeming feature about him. Just no.

I really was Valentina's biggest cheerleader (even when she was annoying me!). My heart was filled with hope that she would finally do what was right for her, would throw herself at Sebastian (or I would take her place!)

Love Me In The Dark is a sweet, beautiful story of self discovery, self worth and taking a chance on love.

Now I am going to make myself go back and read Ms Asher's earlier books.

The next book in the Hudson Valley series – woohoo.

"Cos you ain't got none unless you got buns hun"

That is what I sing to myself every time I see the cover of this book. He sure does wear those jeans well!

I have fallen in love with this series, and was very excited to get back to Bailey Falls.

Right from the get go I felt like I was in the big house from Dirty Dancing. All I needed was Johnny to come steal Baby from the corner to make the feeling complete!

Clara Morgan completes the Three Amigos that include Roxie and Nat from the first two books. She is kind of the calm to their storms, she completes them.

Archie Bryant - fanning myself. He is kind of old school and fits right in with the old style hotel. Be has that kind of suave, old school Hollywood vibe about him.

I love the push and pull between our lovelies - it is a kind of love/hate deal with a healthy dose of lusty feelings thrown in for good measure. I just want them to get together! I mean, there is a lake, surely they can do some lifting or something there for me?

I loved getting more of the lad and lasses from the first 2 books in there series, and I especially loved a cameo from an unidentified redhead and her beau!

I loved everything about Buns. It is sweet, sexy, cute and adorable and everything I want in my romance books. It makes me want to head up to the mountains and dance the pachanga!

We met Nixon and Lincoln in the first book in the Wilmington Breakers series, Down By Contact, and there was something between them that we just needed to know.

And what a story theirs is. I love a friends-to-lovers story, love it even more when there is a bit of history behind them.

Linc and Nix's story is beautiful. It is heart breaking. It is thought provoking. There are subject in this story that made me stop and think, and I am sure it will for other readers too.

Family is a big, big part of this story. Family is not just blood, it is those you surround yourself with, those who love you for who you are.

I adored Linc's relationship with Blake. It could have come across as cheese or after-school-specially, but it didn't. It felt real, organic, nothing was glossed over to make the perfect father/son relationship. We saw it , warts and all.

What I mostly liked about this story was that they didn't give up. Hurdle after hurdle was thrown in front of them and they stuck at it.

I am glad Ms Johnson gave us Linc and Nix's story. That it is about and older couple that have extra baggage to deal with (since I am getting to be an old fart myself!)

Thank you for the beautiful stories, and here's to many more.

After reading a couple of darker books this past week, Fix Her Up wast he lighthearted, sweet read that I needed.

Noah and Finley's story is a lovely love at first sight- and finding their soul mate when they least expect it.

I love the wit and banter between them, as well as the long, lustful looks when they don't think the other is watching. It is just adorable.

I adore the slow burn between them. Sure they like each other right away, but I love the face they don't jump right into bed with each other. They get to know each other, like each other, love each other.

But most of all, they just know that this is the time. The time to make that leap of faith and go for it.

There are great secondary characters among their families, that I am really looking forward to learning more about.

I can't wait to see who we get next.

I LOVE IT!

Sorry, now that I have shouted at you, I have to say I really, really did love it.

Lucas and Fallon have been a long time favourite of my Assassins family, and this little insight into their life was just what I needed.

The kids are growing, Lucas and the Assassins are in the playoffs, and there's change on the horizon.

I was swept away with this story. Would they win? What was next for the adorable Brooks family.

What I wasn't expecting were the tears. Yep, big fat tears. The emotion in this story was not what I was expecting, and got me right in the feels!

Twenty-Two is a short, sweet snapshot of sports stars and their families - not just their own but the extended family around them.

I hope we get more of these little gems in the future.
