They're baaaa-aaaack!

The billionaire bad boys of NYC are back bigger and badder than ever in this second book in this series.

And now it is time for Lucas to fall hard and fast... though is it really fast if he has been in love with her since forever?

I loved him and Maxie fighting for the relationship they should have always had. Lies, deceit, betrayal have all kept them apart for so long but now it is time for them to shine.

And do they shine. Through everything that is happening to them (and believe me, there is quite a bit!) they get closer and fall more in love every day.

Sigh

Although this is a short, quick read it packs a whole lotta punch. It is a sweet, sexy adorable read, and it left me wanting more of these bad boys.

Now come on Derek, don't let the team down when your book arrives!

There's no way to start getting into the mood for Christmas spirit than a sweet Christmas romance - and one set in New York just seems magical to me (since I am in Australia and Christmas means sunburn and blowflies!).

Beth's story was just the thing I needed when I picked it up. She is just sweet and at times her joy in life is just childlike - and we all need to be a bit more like her at times.

Her relationship with Danny, her long time boyfriend is on rocky ground and it doesn't take much for the gorgeous new guy at work to turn her head. But through it all, I hoped with head and heart that Beth and Danny would pull through.

I will admit, for a while there I really did not like Danny - but as the story progressed knew that things were not as they seemed.

I adored Beth's love of rom-coms. As she got each clue on her treasure hunt, I was pulled along with her, trying to figure out what movie the clue was from before Beth (I did with some of them!!). I was imagining myself roaming the streets of NYC (I have been lucky to be there so I really could visualise where a lot of the sites were).

The Gift Of A Lifetime is beautiful story, not just of love, but reminding us not to take things for granted as well.

This is my first Melissa Hill book, but I will keep an eye out for more in the future.

After reading the previous 2 books in the Foolproof Love series, Daniel Rodriguez’s story was the one I was hanging out for.

After what his alluded to about him in the other books, I was expecting to be gutted by his story, and while I liked it, it just didn’t pack the punch I was expecting.

I loved Hope and her strength. She stood up to people, didn't need their help (or wouldn't take it if offered). She has moved on from the crappy things in her past... but her heart hasn't moved on from Daniel.

I really wanted to love Daniel, but there was something about him that just held me back. I think his hard headed ways, the way he really didn't want to listen to Hope so she would come around to his way of thinking was just a little off putting for me? Maybe it was his 13 year pity party that just felt a bit ridiculous? (but this could just be me).

I loved that we got more of the couples from the first two books. The banter, the fun, the heart to heart talks between them all made them all fell well rounded out.

A Fool For You was a bit of a miss for me compared to all Ms Roberts other books that I have read and loved.

But can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Remember the sweet little boy from Driven, the one who didn't speak for months?

Well now that sweet little boy Zander is all grown up and all man... and pretty much a broken man at that.

I had tears when I was reading just the prologue - oh how my heart ached and we hadn't gotten to the nitty gritty of the story yet!

Enter Getty - she has had s crappy past ad has been emotionally broken down to the woman she is today.

An unexpectedly being lumped with a stranger as a room mate is NOT what she was after.

But oh my goodness, the sparks that fly between Zander and Getty! The snarky, the barbs, the fighting and door slamming... all extended foreplay really! They really could be perfect for each other.

The room mates to friends to lovers storyline is not a new one, but the twists and turns in Zander and Getty's story had me enthralled from the minute I started reading. I just had to know what would happen with them next.

And to finally find out why Zander ended up in foster care, why he didn't talk - just gut wrenching!

I loved that we got more of Colton and Rylee and Zander's "brothers" throughout the story.

So can Zander and Getty get their "chequered flag"?

Nope, for that you will have to read for yourself, but do yourself a favour and race to your bookseller and buy this book! It is perfect for fans of the Driven Series, but even if you haven't read them you will love Zander!

Yes!! I have been impatiently waiting for The Sexy One and it was well worth the wait.

In fact, The Sexy One gave me a toothache as it is just so darn sweet!

We quickly met Simon and Abby in Well Hung, and now it is time for their whole story.

There is nothing not to love about Simon, Abby and his little girl Hayden. They are so sweet and tender and loving and gah - just the perfect kind of couple... except they aren't.

Their relationship could have gone down that Jude Law/Ben Affleck shagging the nanny feel (even though Simon isn't married) and I am so glad that it didn't do that.

The glances, the touches, the texting all leading up to something. While it didn't have the heat and sexy times of the other books, it was just the story that this pair needed.

I loved that they went for it. That they didn't give a stuff about what other people thought, that the fell in love and gave the big middle finger to those who didn't agree with them.

And I loved that we saw more of the guys and gals from the previous books too.

Now I am impatiently awaiting the next books

Obsidian Music continues on directly where Obsidian Mask ends, so you will need to have read the first two books before starting Music.

This series has been adrenaline filled from the start, but this final installment was full throttle from the first word to the last!

You never knew what was going to happen next to Daniil, Beth and the family. I was surprised, shocked, elated. And at times, even though it seemed out of place with what was happening, I laughed out loud!

Ms Dawn has given us a shoot em up, no holds barred conclusion to the Obsidian series, and kept me wondering from the first word to the last.

I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Le sigh.... it is always a bittersweet moment when you open up the last book in a series, but when it is a series you have adored as much as I have the Beautiful Bastard series, it is so much worse!

But what a way to close out a series. Beautiful was just that - a beautiful read from the first word to the last.

I was glad to get Jensen (Hanna's brother) story. I was always curious about him since we met him earlier in the series.

And Pippa - oh my goodness she is just the perfect antidote to Jensen, the no fun workaholic we see today.

And add in all the other characters from the books and lots of wine, laughter, fun and sexiness ensues.

And OMG was I laughing out loud with their antics.

And even better than all their antics was that there was plenty of my man Will Sumner in this story.

But to see if Jensen and Pippa find the HEA, you will need to read for yourself!

Christina Lauren have given us the perfect blend of fun and sweet, sexy and hot, sadness and tears. I am going to really miss these guys and gals

Now I can't wait to see what Christina and Lauren bring us next.

Yes! I have been waiting for this story since the second I finished the first book in this series, Offensive Behaviour.

You never know what you are going to get with a book from Ms Paton. No cookie-cutter stories from her, it is like a lucky dip each and every time.... and I love it.

Dev and Sarina have been circling around each other for years... well, Sarina has known what she wanted, but Dev really was the clueless man!

It has taken Sarina making a big life decision -without consulting him - to put a fire under his butt and get him to finally, maybe, make his move.

Not going to lie, for about 95% of this book I really didn't like Dev. The way he made Sarina feel for wanting a baby make me want to nut punch him. He was so completely selfish, self serving and pretty much a dick! The 5% I didn't hate him didn't have to do with Sarina at all!

I cried along with Sarina as she and her best friend drifted further and further apart. But my heart soared as Reid and Owen stepped up to the plate for her. I didn't think I could adore these two any more than I already did, but I was mistaken.

Sold Short was a much more emotional book than the previous two. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to hit certain characters over the head with my kindle for being such an idiot.

And it kept me wanting to turn each page to find out what would happen next.

Just one thing though... it may have been just a little tooooo much of the same fight between Sarina and Dev - maybe a couple of their fights could have been left out as they seemed to keep going around in circles - but that could just be me.

I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Woot woot! A new novel, and a new series from Emma Chase.

It seems like forever since we have had anything new from Emma (that isn't really true, but it feels like it) and this first installment of the Royals series has me chomping at the bit for more.

Royally Screwed has a kind of The Prince and Me/Mary and Frederick kind of vibe too it - you know, the royal falling for a commoner. And though you might think that this Cinderella-y story has been done every which way, but if you are like me, you will still read and love every story like it.

Cos come on, what girl doesn't hope that her Prince Charming will come walking through the door.

Nicholas and Olivia were just beautiful and wonderful and amazing for each other. The Prince with a nation's future on his shoulders and a witty New York girl with her family's future on hers.

And as different as they are, the are just perfect for each other.

From indecent proposals to the end, I thoroughly enjoyed Royally Screwed.

And boy oh boy, are you going to love Nicholas' brother Henry ... just think Prince Harry running amok in Vegas and you will have the picture!

Royally Screwed is a sweet, sexy adorable story, and now I am impatiently waiting for the next book... that boy Henry is gonna give Nicholas and his grandma a few grey hairs!

Unveiling Chaos is the second book in the Unveiling series, but can definitely be read as a stand alone, as I have not read the first book and it did not impact on my enjoyment of this second book.

Unveiling Chaos does just that. It uncovers the chaos that our MC's Naomi and Damien are hiding behind their calm, controlled exterior

I am a fan of the friends to lovers, or in this case eff-buddies to more. But I felt that Naomi and Damien's story was more than just that. As their world's were silently crumbling around them, in each other they found the strength to be more. To do more. To move forward.

As well as their relationship, Unveiling Chaos delves into the world of addiction, not just for the addict but for the families of addicts. It tugged at my heartstrings, made me feel angry, sad, hopeful for our lovelies

Damien - what can I say about Damien other than that he is rather swoonworthy. For once, he isn't a man whore, sticking his d!ck into any woman with a pulse till he finds the right woman. He is beautiful, caring, patient. Why is there never a guy like that when I go to get pierced or tattooed???

I love the relationships between Damien, Naomi and their family and friends. They stick together through thick and thin, are each others fiercest supporters and worst critics.

Now I am impatiently waiting for more of Sherry's story, and need to know more about Ellie and Grayson.

I will definitely be going back to read the first book, and can't wait for the next book or books!
