Lexington and 42nd is a light, sexy sports read, and though it took me a while to get around to reading it (sorry Kim! Nothing to do with the book, just with my time!) I really did enjoy it once I dug in.

Emma is told she has volunteered to job exchange for 12 months with the New York Warriors NFL "club". What an experience, right?

Will is the star quarterback, revered by fans, adored by women, has a million dollar arm - what could he want with the girl from Sydney Football Club.

I loved the banter between Emma and Will. Who doesn't love a cocky sports star and a sassy heroine? He's trying to win her, she's fighting to say no.

I could understand Emma's hesitance to start anything with him. Heck, she's there for a finite time, he has that love 'em and leave 'em reputation.

One thing I really liked was that Will wasn't one of those cookie cutter kind of douchey guys that it takes the right woman to make him likeable. He was very likeable, nay lovable right from the start.

There was this intense push-pull between the pair as they try to make their way to maybe "relationshipland", even though there are plenty of hurdles to overcome.

There are some great secondary characters, particularly Emma's work mates and Will's teammate Buck - I sure hope we get more of him in the series.

If you are after a sweet, light, fun read, give Lexington and 42nd a go.

And now I am off to research flights back to NYC as this book had me craving to go back.

The Wedding Pact follows on where The Wedding Contract (Teague and Callie's story) finished, but you could read this second book as a stand alone if you wanted to.

James and Carrigan are like Romeo and Juliet. Their lives are ruled by family loyalties, they must do what is best for their families no matter what it costs them.

And in The Wedding Pact, it costs them their hearts.

I loved Carrigan in The Marriage Contract. She is strong, feisty, bucking against the system, Even surrounded by mob bosses, infighting, death and destruction, the is determined to break free - if she can.

James is also trying to break free from the shackles of family and circumstance. He does not want the sins of the father to become the sins of the son.

The spark between our Lovely and her guy is irrefutable. They know that the most they can expect are fleeting moments, secret rendezvous, glimpses across the room.

And as I was reading this hurt my heart. Blind Freddy could see that they are meant for each other - if only their families could see past their hatred and see it too.

But can they ever get their HEA? For that you will have to read.

From the minute I picked up The Wedding Pact, I was hooked. It was full of suspense, drama, intensity. As each page turned I held my breath, anticipating what was going to happen next.

I am anxiously waiting for the next book in this series - so please don't keep me waiting too long Ms Robert!

It was a bittersweet feeling, reading All of Me.

I have loved this series from the day I first picked up If I Were You, and each and every book in the series, has gotten better, drawing us deeper into the world of Chris and Sara and Mark.

We finally get closure on Rebecca's story. I loved the use of excerpts of Rebecca's journals to bring her story full circle. I felt that it was the perfect way for us to say goodbye to someone who has been such a big part of all our main characters lives throughout the whole series.

Sara is finally very secure in her relationship with Chris. Chris has so many things to deal with in this installment of their story, your heart can't help but ache for him.

I loved that we also got more of Mark and Crystal. I really, really like Crystal.

There were plenty of sweet moments, sad moments, and sexy, sexy moments - but there always are with our lovers!

The one thing that we don't get closure to is the Ella situation - but there is light at the end of the tunnel, as we find out that there will be a 3 book series about Ella. Is she alive? Has something happened to her? Gah, I can't wait to find out! And I hope that we get more of Chris and Sara, Mark and Crystal in her story.

Can I just saw *swoon*?

I have adored all of the SEAL books so far, but I think that Wed To A SEAL is probably my favourite.

There is just something about a guy who will throw down for a woman he hardly knows, who will do the things that Rocky does. Sure, IRL that stuff would never go down, or the woman would tell him where to go, but for my stories, love it. Love the uber-protective alphaness of these SEALs.

Love the kinship, the bond that these guys and their ladies have.

Wed To A SEAL is a sweet, sexy, suspenseful quick read, and I can't wait for the next book.

This is the 4th book in the K-9 series, and this has by far been my favourite - so far!

Though they can call be read as stand alone, this one did include characters from the 3rd book, but you do not have to have read it to read Rival Forces.

Rival Forces made me feel like I was watching a Jason Bourne movie. Right from the get go, I was on the edge of my couch/bed/whereever I was reading. There was drama, suspense and a whole lot of sexual attraction thrown in for good measure!

I just never was sure who the good guy/bad guys were, and what would happen next *cue the "something's gonna happen" music*

There was this push/pull between Yardley and Kye, and while I understood Yard's hesitance, I wanted to slap some sense into her too!

The stars of this book have to be Oleg and Lily though - Yard and Kye's dogs. Such loyalty, such unconditional love.

I love that Ms Ayres never lets her characters become door mats. They are always true to themselves, dont' give a damn about it, and never let anyone change them. Both the male and female characters are strong, driven, forces to be reckoned with.

Oh, and just for fun, watch this video - you won't be sorry - and it does have something to do with the book, I promise you!

I can't wait to see what happens next in the K-9 series.

Vince Charming really was that - charming.

I didn't know what to expect when I picked it up, but I really enjoyed it. It left me smiling whilst I was reading, and a big ol' smile on the dial when I finished.

Mia and Vince are on such different paths in life, but together they are just something else. Mia needs to marry for business, Vince never sleeps with the same girl twice. But sometimes fate intervenes and life takes a completely different route to what you expect.

Their relationship - or non-relationship as it may be - is sweet, sexy, hot. You can't help but be the cheerleader on the side lines, pop-poms flying as you try to get them to see what is right in front of their noses - especially Mia!

You know from the start where this story is going to end up, it's not rocket science. There are no real big surprises, no "WTF" moments, but the journey these two take to get to where they are is the joy of this story. That they finally see the big picture when they take of the blinkers.

If you are after an angst free, fun romance, Vince Charming should be on your to read list.

I adored Big Rock, so Mister O had some pretty big shoes to fill.

And fill them he did! I loved the snippit we had of Nick and Harper in Big Rock, but getting their whole story was so much more!

I loved the story told in all male POV. It is one of those things that a lot of female authors just don't seem to be able to pull off (snicker) but Ms Blakely does it well (I am sure Mr Blakely had a bit of input into Nick's thoughts!)

Nick and Harper's story is hot, steamy, just sexy from the beginning to the end. I LOVE that Harper's career is not a cookie cutter kind of job. Who didn't want to be a magician when they grow up? And the things these two can do with a majic wand... both kinds of magic wand!!

I couldn't help but fall in love with Harper and Nick, and I can't wait for the next book in this series - Nick's brother Wyatt.

Please don't make me wait Ms Blakely, I need more.

It has been a while since Searching For Tomorrow, but Finding Hope For Tomorrow was well worth the wait.

This book follows along mostly the same timeline as Searching For Tomorrow, but this time it is Liam's story (Liam is Wrynn's twin brother)

I absolutely adored Liam in Searching For Tomorrow - but I fell in love with him in Finding Hope For Tomorrow. He is such a kind, wonderful, giving man - an absolute gentleman - that there is no way you can't love him.

Liam's life has been in limbo since his brother in law died. It not only destroyed his sister, but his as well. He has put his life on hold to take care of sister's family.

Until Elizabeth.

You can't help but feel hope in your heart as Liam starts taking those baby steps to start living his life for himself again.

I have to admit, I had forgotten what a b!tch Wrynn's mother-in-law Mrs Tidwell was, and she aggravated me as much in Liam's story as she did in Wrynn's!

Kathryn McNeill Crane has written a beautiful, wholesome love story with a bit of suspense thrown in for good measure. And it goes to show that there doesn't have to be steamy sex scenes every other page to make a story sexy and complete.

When I finished reading I was left with a smile on my face and hope in my heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed Finding Hope For Tomorrow, and I hope we don't have such a long wait for Ms Crane's next work, as she is definitely a writer that I want more of.

Who can say no to a smoking hot firefighter?

Becca lost her heart to Jackson when she was a teenager, and he totally destroyed her when he left without a word.

Jackson is back and working as one of Brooklyn's finest, a sexy as sin firefighter.

Becca doesn't want him back in her life, but she can't fight that attraction to him. As hard as it is, she tries the love him and leave him thing, but it's just too hard (that's what she said :P ) There's a fine line between love and hate, and Becca is toeing that line.

Jackson is just - ugh, he's just all that. Sure, he came across as an arrogant SOB at times, but really it is all in good fun, and he can poke fun at himself just as good as the next guy.

And let me tell you - when these two get together is is 5 alarm hot!

I loved that he wasn't all sexy smirks and hot banter with him. We saw the darker side of his profession and how it affected him.
This is the first book that I have read by Ms Bond, but I know I will be keeping an eye out for more in the future.

The story was fast paced, the story flowed seamlessly, her characters are charming and witty, the heroine wasn't one of those "why does he like me" whiney girls and she didn't just jump right back into our hero's arms.

I enjoyed Seducing The Fireman and look forward to seeing what Ms Bond brings us next.

I need to get myself to Gnaw Bone and find me a macho Colorado mountain man - though I didn't have much luck finding one of the Hot Bunch when I was in Denver, I have to have better luck this time, right???
