Big thanks to Del Rey Publishing, NetGalley, and the author for the eARC.

This is a romantasy debut with a strong focus on court politics, secrets, and survival. We follow Vasalie Moran, once a renowned court dancer, now a prisoner offered a dangerous deal—attend a royal Gathering undercover, or remain behind bars. What follows is a careful dance (literally and politically) through lies, power plays, and unravelling truths.

Vasalie is a quiet but compelling lead—strategic, emotionally layered, and navigating both trauma and chronic pain. I really appreciated the thoughtful representation of her character. The romance is subtle, with tension simmering beneath the surface, and the world-building leans into rich settings and gilded atmospheres.

If you enjoy fantasy stories with a slower pace, morally grey choices, and layers of political intrigue, this might be one to add to your list!

Just when I thought I couldn’t love Nisha more… she gives us Not Safe for Work—a contemporary romance that had me grinning, swooning, and thinking about “Lucifer in a Ralph Lauren model disguise.” Like??? Obsessed.

This book has workplace chaos, tropical retreats, STEM rep, and the kind of tension that crackles on the page. Trishara is a queen. Rafe is hot, supportive, and broody. Every glance, every argument, and every “accidental” touch had me kicking my feet. The vibes? Immaculate.

I genuinely love how Nisha can go from fae battles to office flirtation and make both feel equally addictive.

Thank you to Nisha J. Tuli and Forever Publishing for the eARC!

Happy release day to This Vicious Dream! And a huge thank you to Stacia Stark for the eARC!

After devouring the Kingdom of Lies series, I was SO ready for this book—and it absolutely delivered. From the first page, I was pulled straight into the frenzy (and I never wanted to leave). The world, the stakes, the tension... it was everything.

Madinia and Calysian?? I’m obsessed. Their story is full of grief, longing, power struggles, and that slow-burn intensity I live for. The angst?? Immaculate. The chemistry?? Off the charts. And the ending?? I’m screaming. HOW am I supposed to wait for the next book?

Tropes you’ll love:

🤌🏽 Enemies to reluctant allies to something so much more

🙌🏽 Forced proximity (aka peak tension)

😈 Morally grey, sharp-edged hero with a heart (maybe?)

💪🏽 Strong, stubborn heroine who’s been through it

🐎 One horse. Yes, really.

🧨A cliffhanger that hurts in the best way.

If you love your fantasy with high stakes, dark secrets, and banter that cuts like a blade—add this to your TBR immediately, but don't forget to read the Kingdom of Lies before this. Hey, you won't regret it, trust me.

The perfect ending to The Veiled Kingdom series!

Dacre has owned my heart since The Hunted Heir, and seeing his devotion and growth in this book made me love him even more.
Holly Renee gave us everything — tension, loyalty, spice, heartbreak, and an epic romance that felt so earned.

This finale was emotional, fast-paced, and utterly satisfying. I’ll be thinking about Dacre and Verena for a long time!

Thank you so much to Holly Renee for the eARC — I’m so grateful to have lived in this world early!
