- Hudson and Madeline are cute! But unfortunately kind of boring
- I can't believe I'm saying this, but this would've felt better with a 3rd act breakup because it's was SO many chapters of "I love them but I'm not going to say it" "I'm waiting for them to say they love me then I'll say it back" etc etc
- I LOVED the other two, this one just managed to push a lot of buttons that led to me sending friends a lot of rants
- The dialogue for Lucy (Madeline's 6 year old deaf daughter) and a lot of the conversations WITH Lucy just felt really unnatural unfortunately.
- There were some after school special vibes with some convos about her?
- Madeline does warn that since Lucy's deaf that means English isn't her first language so reading/writing is harder for her, and yet these adults are writing adult-length words and Lucy is able to read them and write right back?
- Somehow Hudson learned enough ASL to have full conversations in just a couple of months. Alright dude.
- There was almost no hesitation about the fact that Hudson was romantically interested in his live-in employee. Like never a moment of worrying that he might be taking advantage or something? Idk man, seemed off
- At one point, Hudson narrates that he's not vanilla, then proves it by referencing tying up someone's wrists...LOL okay big guy sure thing

- Suzanne Collins wrote this book to hurt my feelings personally
- A fantastic commentary on propaganda -- and done by showing the audience that WE fell for the propaganda years ago?! Honestly how dare you
- I thought I understood why Haymitch was such a drinker, aND YET
- Characters that we know from Catching Fire in particular were utilized really well here, didn't feel like people were being forced in which was nice
- Was so proud of myself for not crying throughout the book and then I made it to the last chapter/epilogue and once again HOW DARE YOU

- The romance itself? Very fun and cute
- There were some storylines that were either confusing, not wrapped up well, or not wrapped up at all?
- Why was their first kiss OFF THE PAGE?! I thought we'd get a flashback to it or something but NOPE. And I'm not just talking when they kissed back in high school, but even their first adult kiss? Absolutely not!
- The whole conflict of the book was that their bowling team needed to win the finals at the end of the year or they wouldn't get to be around next year.
They LOSE, and...that doesn't come up at all? They're just like "We'll do better next year" and boom happy ending???? - I think ultimately this is a novella that would've done a lot better if it'd had an epilogue to cover a couple of things that just couldn't be addressed immediately.

- Best part about this book is Liam's cat, Pico de Gato
- Fake dating offer in exchange for sex lessons is hilarious and also two of my favorite tropes. THENNNN you add in drunkenly married in Vegas?
- "I know we got married by accident but maybe we should stay married so you have decent health insurance" is so America, hate that for us
- Mav continues to hold the spot as best boy for now (I simply will not get over that moment where Liam was mean to Piper SORRY), but Liam & Piper are so cute together

- I guess I like hockey romance now?????
- Maverick is perfect but to be fair Emmy has SO MANY GOOD REASONS TO DESPISE HIM because BOYYYY OH BOY his first impression was rough at best
- I do love a little "rivalry" where one of them is absolutely a simp for the other from the jump and is really just teasing more than anything though
- The scene with Emmy's ex? Perfection. We love when the team bands together in support of one
- The biggest conflict in the book is these two idiots don't know how to admit their feelings and honestly I needed something that simple in my life right now thank you Chelsea Curto

- Didn't read the first one in the book so the fact that this is a BEST FRIEND'S STEPSON romance is so funny to me (but there's also just a running bit about her best friend being married to his dad because he's older than his "stepmom" and they act like siblings if anything)
- She hasn't orgasmed in over a decade and he's determined to make it happen...by edging the shit out of her? Perfect I'll take 20
- She's not small but doesn't read as FAT to me either? More midsize? But author has art of her larger so I'LL TAKE IT
- Big moment with her awful parents was SOOOO satisfying actually
- Knocked down a star for the mustache (jokingggggg it just wasn't a 5 star for me)
I am just not a hockey romance girly, at least not when they’re so straight lmao

- Started and ended with a bang with a wholleeeeee lot of bangs in between holy shit
- Friends to lovers, in which two of them are already in a relationship and are also in love with their best friend. Relationships and feelings are already established when the book starts, so it's just a matter of making things happen. And also a lot of sex.
- The fact that they managed to have THAT much sex and also get pretty into the relationships each of them had with their parents, their work, etc.? Truly well done
- The FATNESS was sooo well written in so many different ways (by which I mean positions yes)
- Did I mention that there's a lot of sex in this?

- Apparently gaming is a male-dominated industry? Who knew? Lmao we got to deal with some GateGate style bs in this one and some of the aftermath as far as how it impacted the victim.
- The boss/employee dynamic was sort of lost to the wind, would've loved that to have been addressed differently
- The added fake drama of Cat fake-dating Andi's ex but Andi not realizing it was fake while she falls for Cat? Very good yes I love it
- But also...Andi's ex (yes I forgot her name, don't worry about it) was annoying. I was nervous about the whole situation but also I was like, unfortunately I don't care about you girl!
- There were just a few things that needed to be sorted for this one to stick the landing but I did have a fun time with it

- OH MY GOD REN AND AUDREY ARE THE CUTEST
- He had a crush on her as a kid and also she listens to his audio erotic performances and doesn't realize it's him and they are both just VERYYYY into each other
- Ren is really into Star Wars, some might say TOO into Star Wars (I am not "some")
- Audrey's daughter Piper is like a 3rd main character and I WILL DIE FOR HER
