Maverick is perfect but to be fair Emmy has SO MANY GOOD REASONS TO DESPISE HIM because BOYYYY OH BOY his first impression was rough at best
I do love a little "rivalry" where one of them is absolutely a simp for the other from the jump and is really just teasing more than anything though
The scene with Emmy's ex? Perfection. We love when the team bands together in support of one
The biggest conflict in the book is these two idiots don't know how to admit their feelings and honestly I needed something that simple in my life right now thank you Chelsea Curto
